Amazing place with great ambience. This is a re-purposed depot which is now an entertainment centre/food place. Plenty of food options, lots of different seating areas indoor and outdoor and there is also ice skating rink in the compound. Suitable for family visits, dates or hangouts for a couple of drinks.

Unique venue which has lots of different food and drinks places on site, within a huge warehouse. They had live music on a Saturday and so it was possible to sit around a table and catch up with friends but also have the music to enjoy.

Could not change this to freight island which is effectively the back of this building. For freight island you have to book and check abouts you want to sit as there are lots of different settings inside. Awesome warehouse restaurant bar setting. Very impressive.

Didn't know what to expect from this place but was blown away when we visited. We sat inside towards the back and the decor, atmosphere and service were all amazing. Once you take your seat you can order from any / all of the different vendors and different waitors bring over your food and drinks. I ordered the nachos, bread and olives, cheese and meat board, steak and an oyster and loads of cocktails. Everything was perfect and the vibes were great.

The place's vibes is really good but the food is not, you'd think with multiple venues competing for customers it would be top. But yeah no, limited options for what turned out to be very microwave meal like food. I ordered the burger after the tacos cause those where not it. The burger was meh, so much potential for this place to be the go to for chilling, drinks and food. You have the first 2 on lock though, just fix the food especially because of what it costs

Went for the 5th anniversary celebrations of Widows Empowerment Trust. They are doing some important work supporting widows and widowers. Great venue, not ideal for speeches.

I attended this venue 'freight island' for a work event. It's huge! Its a warehouse with wooden tables and benches but also has some plastic chairs. There are food stations dotted around such as pizza, burgers and fries etc, Lovely outdoor area which is covered and heated and also a garden area. The seated area near the stage is upstairs and I didn't see any wheelchair accessible points. There is also a higher level of seating which will have an elevated view of the stage. Overall I loved the relaxed atmosphere of the place.

Attended a midweek gig. Was initially suspicious about depot working as good venue for normal gigs but any reservation was gone in about 30 minutes. Amazing atmosphere (besides the £9 beers!)

As a venue, it is amazing, loads going on, extremely lively and tonnes of choice. Given that it is set up to accommodate a lot of people and serve them quickly, i would consider some things overpriced. Very difficult to time food orders so that you can eat or drink at the same time as the rest of your table.

I visited here with a large group and I found it to be very cold with where we were placed. There qere plenty of heating tables and lamps. The use of QR codes for ordered food to the table is good and the staff were quick and prompt with the food. I found that at the time my food was barely on the warm side when I was eating it. Not sure if it was the place where we were sat or the fact that the food might have been cool when it was brought out. The atmosphere inside here was very good and the live band was OK too. For me it wasn't for me but you never know with a good group of people around you it could be a perfect place for food, drinks and dancing.

The look of this place is awesome. It looks industrial and cool but then it is an industrial unit, so.... It's really easy to get to, just across from Piccadilly Station. We went on a week night and everything was great. There were two events on, one inside and one outside. We were shown to our table as soon as we arrived, it's all table service, based on ordering through an app. It was well organised and the staff knew what they were doing. The app could be better, if you press back to many times you get logged out which is annoying. You also need to be careful to order from the correct bar (inside/outside). There isn't a huge range of drinks but enough to find something for everyone. The service on the drinks was great! Really quick and efficient. There is a really good range of food options. I didn't eat but my friend really enjoyed his pizza slice. Can't say any more. There seemed to be plenty of toilets but might be different at capacity.

Giving it 4 stars because, thanks to a Nile Rogers concert on 17/9 I was unable to move my son into his university flat at Millpoint! For future reference to anyone wanting to access Millpoint when there is a concert on and the access road is closed you can drive down the side of the MacDonalds hotel. On the plus side my son gets to listen to free concerts for the next year!! P.s Nile Rogers you were great!

Absolutely fantastic! A brilliant venue with so much going on and loads of entertainment. There's various food outlets to choose from and its not the usual rubbish - genuine vendors who are brilliant at what they do and bars dotted around everywhere. It has a real quirky theme that I cant get enough of. Ill most definitely be back herr and would absolutley recommend to anyone looking for something fun and different in Manchester. There's a main food hall kind of place which is enormous, loads of outside booths with heating and something for everyone. I love it here.

Nice atmosphere, it was busy and there was music although it was a bit too loud as we ended up shouting to speak to each other. It may have just been a busy night but service was quite slow, took half an hour for drinks to arrive but that was only after someone asked about it. Otherwise, a fun place with good vibes.

We went for ice skating & drinks, the ice tonk is absolutely tiny or they just leave too many ppl on together. The children are flying about in every angle with the steady seals. It's too small with no many people at one go. They should also do an adults only skate. The outside venue with xmas trees, drinks food etc is brilliant. Need to book online for seats after 5ish... Before 5 there was the world of seats, but as we were leaving, there was the beginning of lots of groups/queing etc forming at the entrance

What a night! Massive venue bouncing with vibrancy even on a Wednesday night. The food was a match for anything in Barcelona, Campania or Singapore be it pintxo, pizza or prata. More craft beers available than you can feasibly consume in one night... although that doesn't stop you trying 😂 Did I mention the music? Brazilian, African, Samba, Soul, Jazz, Funk... Oh just visit as soon as you possibly can - you will not be disappointed 😁

An amazing looking venue and a great concept, but with flaws. The app for ordering wasn't the best and the staff often made mistakes in giving you the wrong food. That being said, they were very friendly and prompt in resolving the problem. For the price, the food ranged from being fantastic to very basic and underwhelming. If it was cheaper I wouldn't have had a problem, but most things on the menu are quite pricey!

All the seats were inside on the hottest day of the year! Admittedly wasn't the venue's fault but once you have been 'captured' there is nowhere else to go. You are shown to your seat and you have to love it or lump it, no halfway measures. Make sure if you go you have an outside seat rather than being cooped into an indoor, dull venue and stuck there for 2 and a half hours. The staff were also very inadequately trained, get the wrong order so wait another 30mins to get it sorted, poor to say the least. Manchester is a wonderful place but the venue didn't do it much justice, ashame!!

Attended a tour of the old Mayfield Train Depot with the excellent Jonathan Schofield this year and attended a Manchester Internation Festival event a couple of years ago. It was great to see what the venue looks like when it isn't full with concert attendees. Quite looking forward to see how it's going to be redeveloped into the city centre park that is currently being planned. I'd definitely recommend a tour as you can explore areas within the location that you usually wouldn't get to when there's an event on.

Warehouse Project have done it again! This new venue is a class above the old venue, if you have been to Store Street you would know how cramped and sweaty it could get, with poor sound near the emptier back section. This new venue changes that, it's a wide open space, with room to enjoy yourself and a quality sound system throughout. The Archive at the back can get stuffy, but at least this time it feels like you have the choice. As always, top quality production from the WHP guys too. Only gripe with it was the scheduling of Welcome To The Depot, Mall Grab after Annie Mac was a culture clash at the peak of the evening, but can't complain too much due to the quality of DJs booked. Overall, top venue and can't wait to come back next week!

Went to the depot for the Warehouse Project events and have to say I was impressed by the venue, it's hugely spacious and a generally good atmosphere in the place made it a good night. The security were reasonable and the queueing didn't take too long to get through. However, they really need to review the price of drinks at the bar as it was around £5.50 for a can of beer which in my opinion is way above board.
