Had my sons 10th birthday here and it was absolutely brilliant! No stress or hassle, really friendly, laid back staff who couldn't do enough to help. The kids had so much fun switching between tracks and lanes, an hour was plenty enough and …

Went here with a group of 8 adults on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time! The owner was helpful when I called, and recommended a good time to come to avoid a kid's birthday party.
There is an onsite bar, and the place is pretty flexible with how to run the races. Would definitely recommend; good for young adults after a few drinks :)
But definitely would agree with other reviewers suggesting bringing comfortable shoes as you have to retrieve your car often, which involves some jogging!

Highly recommend this friendly and well located new (ish) venture! 8 tracks and a variety of cars await visitors, and at around £10 per hour (depending on age, timing, event, date, etc) it is really good value and immense fun!
Easy to learn and difficult to master sums it up. Bring your trainers as you'll get plenty of exercise if you keep crashing!
Automated lap timing and race results mean you can be competitive (if you want to be!) and the staff are incredibly helpful and happy to share their knowledge.
Our children loved it (keen to go back there again for a birthday party!)
Definitely worth a visit.

We really enjoyed our half hour experience here. The staff were really friendly and helpful and my daughter really enjoyed racing the cars (even though it was really a trip for me). It's not cheap for half an hour, but as a novel, one off experience, it was definitely worth it!

Kids loved it once they got the hang of it, be prepared to be running around the track putting the cars back on so wear comfy shoes ladies, staff helpful and thankfully wasn't to busy.

A great place for families or just friends. It's well priced for the time you spend while the staff make you feel very welcome.
We raced for an hour and a half while having a few drinks and it was great fun.
Be very weary though... If it's quiet and you come off the track you might be running around a lot.

Walked up today without booking and so glad we did. This is a fantastic place for the entire family. We got booked onto track 1 and we loved it. So good to have this on our doorstep 👍🏾. We got a 20 mins session which for our first time was probably right. Very affordable for a group to visit and host Keyron was ace.
Definitely recommend and will visit again.

We went to race wars as a 10 man stag do a couple of weeks ago, I can't recommend it enough. A set of giant scaelextrix tracks sounds a bit like a kids activity, but with a drink (served at a reasonable price from the fully stocked bar) and a bit of competitive spirit it's surprisingly fun.
We were racing for about an hour. During that time we raced on two of the tracks. We had about 5 minute stints, after which everyone changed lanes which changes the strategy that you need to get round more than you think it will. After everyone had been in each lane we moved to the other track and did the same; the person with the most cumulative laps (as kept track of by their electronic timing system) won. It made for an hour of intense competition, where finding the right level of throttle around each corner combined with some actual physical activity when you inevitably spin off an have to run to reset your car, made for great fun.
I can't recommend this enough. I think we paid about £20 each including a drink for the experience described above, and it was worth every penny. I'd happily go back again to try out the other tracks.

I am a 37 year old and I visited today and had a thoroughly good time. Enjoyed playing racewars with a few friends. It gets very competitive very quickly and the time flies by but in a good way.
We had booked a 30 minute session and had so much fun racing round our track.
Will happy visit here again!
