Well, I've just finished my 'Covid Secure Events' training course with @brightspaceevents and Sarah Threlfall. Sarah did an amazing presentation at a recent event organised by Fay Sharpe, founder of FastForward15 so I couldn't wait to find out more and sign up to learn how to remove or reduce Covid-related risks in events and meetings I'm involved in organising. As an ex management training consultant of 40+ years, I'm normally a bit underwhelmed by courses. However, Sarah has totally hit the mark and this course is really well put together with a perfect combo of online and 'live zoom'. It was absolutely cracking, honestly. The extra bits Sarah puts in, her presentation and communication style, the structure of the course, all great. I couldn't see a way of improving it and I think she's done a really amazing job. She is super-knowledgeable but makes it all so accessible. Can't recommend her highly enough!

I completed the 'Intro to COVID Secure Events' training course a couple of weeks ago. I found the course on LinkedIn and the process for booking was simple and straight forward. The information about what to expect from the course was really useful and answered all the questions I had. The training was all online, took about 2 hours and has left me a lot more confident and much more optimistic about the return of live events and the measures we can take to make it safe for delegates and team members. The course is made up of video clips from Sarah Threlfall, case studies and documents / website references. At the end of the modules there are knowledge checkers which really helped me to focus. You can re-take the knowledge checker questions straight away if you don't score high enough to move on and that's great too. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who has an involvement in events. My experience was hassle free, Brightspace Events are a professional company using quality systems and now I have my 'passed' certificate and stamp which I am delighted with!! If you are considering it, definitely do it!
