Alex, Yvonne and the team at LEX Marquee have been have been fantastic over the past few years. We had planned a wedding in April 2020, a slight pandemic prevented this happening, we then re-planned in April 2021, another lockdown prevented this happening. Here in April 2022 we finally got there! We had issues with the venue one week before the big day, after two years of delays we were absolutely panicking, but Alex came up with a solution, accommodated us and resolved it all. The team kept us up to date with timings for the install and they arrived bright and early on pick up day! We are so grateful that we selected LEX Marquee back in February 2019 and that they stuck by us over the years to help make our big day happen.

They were patient and accurate when we updated and changed our requirements in the months leading up to the wedding and the delivery/set up was on time and quick. Love the size and quality of the marquees, lights and furniture we hired. Would recommend to anyone!

Alex was great throughout the process and the marquee worked so well on our wedding day! It received huge complements and despite the rain everyone loved the cosy atmosphere it provided. Lex Marquee Hire provided the marquee for our wedding in October. Alex and his whole team did a truly amazing job, from initial consultation right through to taking the tent away after our celebration! They really went above and beyond on the morning of our wedding, when we had 50mph winds and the marquee was in need of some attention. As well as the marquee itself, they also provided lighting and furniture, making everything easy for us and helping us to create the perfect atmosphere for our day. We are so happy with the Capri marquee that Lex Marquee provided us, along with table, chairs and lighting. It was the perfect size for our garden party wedding. What a great firm, it’s the second time I’ve called them a two days before Christmas for equipment and Lex Marquees never let me down, excellent customer service, no job is too small. They turned up when they said they would on Christmas Eve when everyone else had already started their holidays. I wouldn’t recommend anyone but 200% would recommend Lex Marquees 11/10. Alex and his team were brilliant from beginning to end for a garden party for 70 people in the evening and lunch for 30 the following day. Their site visit was professional and engaging and they went to great trouble to provide the most appropriate and good value solution, making sure it worked with quite a tight space. The outcome was an enormous success, thanks to their vision and delivery. They were very flexible around dates for installation and removal, and dealt with all that considerately with no fuss and no mess. We would highly recommend them.

We were really happy with the end result. Once up, the lighting and tent looked brilliant, everything came together well in the end. They were very helpful when on-site giving advice on how to hang decorations etc. which was appreciated. The reason I can't give more than 3 stars is that getting to that point wasn't very smooth. Contact in the run up to our wedding was extremely poor, it took multiple emails and follow up phone calls to get every question answered (emails went unanswered for weeks, responses were only received when I sent a follow up). I understand that they are busy, but the customer service we received wasn't good. After our initial quote we added speakers and lighting to our order, we weren't sent an updated invoice until prompted several times and when we did eventually receive the invoice it was incorrect (which we didn't realise). After we had paid it were contacted and asked for more money, we did come to a compromise in the end, but it was frustrating as the error was not on our part. Setting up went well, very quick and the guys that came to set up were extremely considerate (avoiding flower beds etc.) and friendly. Unfortunately, when we came to test the speakers one didn't work (one of the guys had to come back and replace a cable) and the day before the wedding one of the sections of lighting stopped working. When we managed to get hold of someone on the phone we were told they might not be able to make it to exchange the broken section until the day of the wedding, which isn't ideal because we weren't going to be there. In the end they came the same day and got it sorted pretty quickly, but this isn't really what you hope for (especially since we had asked what happens if a section of lights breaks, and were told it never happens). All in all the end result was great and we were really happy with how everything looked and the issues that we had were sorted out, but the process we went through to get to that point was poor and could do with fine tuning (or better organisation).
