I had the most wonderful experience buying my wedding dress at Ava Louise Bridal Wear. The beautiful shop stocks Made With Love Bridal dresses, which I had my eye on, but was also recommended to me by friends. Imogen has a fantastic range of beautiful dresses, is so kind and courteous and went above and beyond during the appointment. She is absolutely fantastic at what she does and nothing was too much trouble, which was massively appreciated. The appointment was perfect; it felt relaxed but still incredibly special and I am so pleased I managed to find the dress of my dreams here. I’m really looking forward to picking the dress up, purchasing a veil and having the dress altered ready for the big day! Thank you Imogen x

I had such a fantastic experience buying my wedding dress from Ava Louise Bridal. She made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. She has such a gorgeous selection of dresses and it didn’t take me long to find my perfect dress. I particularly liked how relaxed the visit was but still really special. Imogen was attentive but also allowed myself and my family some time alone which was really nice. As soon as I was engaged I knew I wanted to visit Ava Louise and I was not disappointed! Such a beautiful shop with truly stunning dresses. Imogen was fantastic from start to finish, she gave us time to wander around trying to make the impossible decision on what dresses to try on, but was also on hand for any question’s we may have and truly made me feel so relaxed. It’s such a personal experience choosing your dress and I’d highly recommend booking in at Ava Louise, Imogen’s knowledge and expertise is invaluable and I couldn’t of been more pleased with the dress I chose. I had the most amazing experience at Ava Louise. I knew going in that I was so excited to try Made with Love dresses. Imogen let me and my bridal party look over the dresses in our own time and selecting the dresses to try on. Imogen secured me in each of the dresses and allowed me to decide whether it was one to show my party. She was patient as I was deciding and always helped me move around between the spacious changing room and the glam party room. I eventually found my dress!! There was no pressure from Imogen to wrap up the appointment when I had made my decision, she allowed me plenty of time to get photos so I could remember it when I went home. Imogen also helped suggest some slight alterations so I felt less exposed. Even before I picked up my dress Imogen contacted me about booking my fittings (through a third party) and I'm so pleased to already have this in the diary. This week I picked up my dress and it was even better than I remembered. I had ordered a slightly different dress on Imogen's recommendation and it was even better than the dress I had originally tried on. Thank you so much for such a fantastic experience :)

Having visited Ava Louise Bridal Wear with my friend (the bride) I can honestly say it was the best experience out of all the shops we had been too (which was quite a few!). On arrival we were left to our own devices to look around Imogen’s gorgeous dresses, there was no pressure, but my friend knew she was there on hand if she needed anything! Once the dresses were chosen, the bride was taken into a private separate changing area and was helped in and out of all her dresses with ease. While we were seated in the lovely family room waiting to see her! Once my friend had found ‘the one’, Imogen gave us the right amount time alone so that she didn’t feel pressurised into making any rash decisions. The feeling of the shop was super relaxed and the bride had an amazing time. It really felt like Imogen was giving her some good advice and the bride left feeling super happy knowing she had chosen her dream dress! Thanks Imogen!

This is most wonderful bridal shop with absolutely beautiful wedding dresses to try on in a really gorgeous setting. Imogen is so knowledgeable and helpful - she really knows her designers and really cares about her brides!! I felt really comfortable throughout the appointment (despite having to strip down to my underwear to try on the dress which can be very daunting). I tried two other shops first and tried on lots of dresses but none of them compared to the dress I said ‘yes’ to at Ava Louise. I am definitely a Willowby bride 🤍 In fact… Imogen was so lovely and her dresses so beautiful that I have been back to choose another dress (which has been purchased from her sample sale) for the evening of our wedding celebration that has been delayed due to covid. It’s so helpful that Imogen has a seamstress that she knows and trusts too. She made a gorgeous veil for me with lace trim to match my dress and will be doing the alterations for me on my second dress. Thank you so much Imogen for making the experience so easy and enjoyable.

This is such a lovely bridal boutique and I had the best experience finding my dress :) I chose this shop as they stocked the designer I loved (made with love), and I visited with my mum & sister in August 2021. Imogen was really welcoming, we were left alone to choose dresses (I had been to other shops so knew what I wanted) & then she helped me into them. She was so friendly and made me feel really special, I fell in love with my dress and she let me try on shoes & a veil to make sure it was just right for me. We have just collected the dress and again had a wonderful experience trying it on and ensuring it was perfect. She has also been amazing in arranging seamstress appointments. At no point did I feel rushed or unwelcome and I would definitely recommend Ava Louise to all my friends, I can’t wait to wear my dress on my wedding day! Thank you so much, Lauren

My experience at Ava Louise was amazing. Imogen gave me the exact right amount of support - she left me to browse with my family and then came in for advice when I asked. The boutique is beautiful and I love that the experience is so personal. She was also really accomodating working around my hours so that I could come and try the dresses on when it suited me. She also organised my dress amendments. I couldn't have asked for more. My dress was perfect and I loved wearing it. Thanks Imogen for the best experience.

This is a great wedding dress boutique. The owner is friendly and helpful and she has great taste in dresses! It was impossible to pick as there were so many options of gorgeous gowns. She was also good to help me stick to my budget and there were plenty of dresses within our budget at up to 3K. Ended up even with a cheaper dress. I had two appointments because it was hard to narrow it down. In the end I found my dream dress and put down a deposit. She also has a lady that will help make the adaptations on the dress when it arrives, making the process smooth. Check the website and Instagram page as she posts most dresses there. I certainly recommend this boutique for the variety of dresses and prices.

I had such a lovely experience at Ava Louise Bridal. It is such a beautifully decorated store and Imogen and her colleague were very kind and welcoming. I initially cancelled my appointment at Ava Louise because I thought I had found ‘the dress’ else where but after seeing the beautiful dresses Imogen stocked on Instagram I rebooked my appointment. Good job I did because I said yes to the most beautiful dress at Ava Louise. Imogen was so helpful when I was trying on dresses. She knew and understood that I was coming to the end of my dress shopping journey and she made sure she didn’t over complicate it by helping me try on dresses in the style I knew I wanted. I also has an idea of the type of veil and look I wanted for my wedding day and she made sure she measured it to the exact length and width I wanted along with the exact lace design. Finding my dress went beyond obtaining the actual dress... it was the whole experience that I will remember my whole life and I love to have this place as part of my memories. The shop just have changed owners and Imogen, the new owner fully redecorated it, turning it a stunning classy place that allowed me to relax and have a memorable experience. I had a great time there, I felt calm, relaxed and I had plenty of time and space to try different dresses. Imogen was extremely helpful to orientate me on what looks good for my style and my body shape. My mother and sister in law where with me, they could sit comfortably and enjoy the experience with me. Very disappointed and upset . The only reason for a 3 star is more for the way we were greeted. Left to choose 4 dresses all I knew I wanted buttons ! Not sure what shape would suit me. After trying the first one I instantly felt not wellcome felt fat told web2be betterr to shop as they would fit me! After trying best not to cry I tried on dress 2 and just wanted to go home. If you are a size zero orif you're anything over a 14 which I am in normal clothes forget it your not their kind of bride

Had a great experience at Ava Louise Bridal Wear this Saturday. This was my first visit to a bridal shop, I just wanted to try on a couple of wedding dresses with my bridesmaids, see some different types and get an idea of what I liked and didn't. Imogen was really helpful, I was bit nervous but the experience was really great, she was really calm and brought out some great choices of dresses! Its a lovely shop and run by a lovely person - would definitely recommend!
