from the moment i meet Margaret, I knew how amazing she would be. We have been lucky enough to have used Margaret twice, once for my son's naming day and for my wedding. on both occasions, Margaret has been able to show us the way, been patient with us and created the best two events ever. She is truly a wonderful person and the celebrations would not have been the same with out her. Thank you so much Margaret, hopefully we will have a few more celebration that we will of course involve you in. All our love and gratitude, Luke and Elaine

Margaret conducted my mother-in-law's funeral in January and we cannot thank her enough for what she did. She listened to our thoughts and wrote the most beautiful ceremony that celebrated her life and reflected who she was. She was happy to make any edits and helped with the suggestions of readings and music. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

We contacted Margaret when we decided that we would like a humanist ceremony for our wedding.
Margaret was responsive right from the first email all the way through to our wedding day, both in person and on email. Margaret helped us to write a script for the ceremony, which was personal to us.
On the day of our wedding Margaret came to see us both before the ceremony, putting us at ease and the ceremony was lovely with some guests saying it’s one of the nicest ceremonies they have attended.
We can’t thank Margaret enough for all of her help, efficiency and professionalism.

What more can I say, Margaret has been an absolute star from the word go. Her attention to detail, professionalism and friendly perspective meant our wedding ceremony was just what we envisaged it would be. Michelle and I could not recommend Margaret enough; thank you for everything!

Margaret helped us through the most difficult time in our lives when our son died suddenly in August 2020. She was very supportive coming to our home to help us compose the wording for the service and recommended poems which were also used. The service itself was beautiful and it was clear that Margaret genuinely cared about us and how the service went. We shall be forever grateful for her help

In 2019 Margaret provided a humanist service to celebrate the life of my beloved brother Steven. Margaret was very professional and showed great empathy towards family and friends. During the arrangements Margaret listened to all our stories and memories of Steven, she wrote them all down and went away to write the service. We were very happy with the service Margaret provided and would highly recommend.

We aren't religious but felt that we wanted to recognise our daughter's arrival in a formal way, and felt that a humanist naming ceremony was the perfect alternative to a Christening. We had the naming day for our daughter last summer and Margaret made the day so so special. She met with us well in advance so she could get to know me, my husband and my daughter, and she wrote a lovely speech summarising our daughter's first year which made our guests laugh and cry! With our original plans having to change due to lockdown, Margaret was more than happy to change dates, locations and guest lists as we went along and the day was as lovely as we could have imagined it. If we ever have another child, we would definitely ask Margaret for a similar ceremony! Would highly recommend. Thank you Margaret!

On 12th April 2021 Margaret provided a humanist service for my mother Stella.
Beforehand Margaret met with myself and my sister to hear about my mother’s life and to get some background on the person she was.
The service was well written and beautifully presented, Margaret sent us a draft within plenty of time to proofread.
Margaret also found me some information on a poem that I recited which was a nice personal touch it is those little things that make the difference.

Margaret was able to help us by conducting my fathers funeral for us. She was very helpful, even tho it was hard because of the restrictions due to covid. We had to communicate thru emails mainly. But we were able to pass onto her our thoughts and memories of dad, and she beautifully spoke them at his funeral, along with her own poetry and words which were lovely and positive.
I would strongly recommend Margaret, because we wanted a non religous service, just to remember dad for who he was to us. She listened to us and the service was just as we wanted it to be.
She is a lovely lady. Very professional, but friendly and caring. Thank you Margaret.
