We got married last weekend at Long Furlong and couldn’t recommend the venue, staff and Circa catering enough. Apart from being based in a perfect location and many of our guests complimenting us on it, Alice from the team was so helpful and lovely and really contributed to our experience. Likewise, Claire at Circa went above and beyond and her eye for detail was amazing! Being lactose intolerant I often can’t enjoy a menu as much as I would otherwise do without dietary restrictions- but for the first time I felt like I didn’t miss anything at all! Thank you all!

Attended Liam and Jackie's wedding sat 14th May, beautiful ceremony, outstanding setting. Circa event company you did them proud, from aperitifs, the coordinator ensuring everything was attended to for every minute detail , the staff employed were fantastic they made it a great day. Drinks flowing chef did an amazing job with the presentation and the food lovely, well done. Band great A beautiful day celebrating with lots of alcohol . A lovely venue in a beautiful setting. Great staff and plenty of parking. It would be 5* but the toilets were a bit smelly (like a campsite, so it's probably a bit of an overworked system🤔?!)

Lovely place for a wedding reception, easy organised parking and excellent food. Service was also proffessional and discrete. Well done the team. One suggestion, a sign to indicate less able wheelchair parking. As parking in maim parking area is not suitable to push wheel chairs. !!!

Our wedding was on 26th April 2019, and It was the most perfect day we could have ever wished for. The venue is absolutely stunning and everyone was so lovely and welcoming. The entire day went seamlessly, and that would not have happened without all the staff pulling out all the stops! We had our wedding on 27th October 2019 at Long Furlong and had the most incredible day. The staff were so helpful all the way through planning, responding quickly, calmly and warmly to even my most ridiculous panicked emails! We were lucky that the venue wasn't booked the day before so we were able to come in and decorate the space in advance. That day, and the day of the wedding, Vicky especially was SO great. Everything ran beautifully, we felt totally confident in all the staff and they were able to coordinate the event without being remotely overbearing. The venue itself is so beautiful, it was everything we could have wished for and blew our guests away. We had 63 guests in the day time so the space wasn't packed but also didn't feel empty at all, and then there was plenty of room for another 40 or so in the evening (with huge numbers of guests dancing all night as well). I've seen some reviews suggesting it might not be good for a winter event. We were lucky to have bright sunshine on our day (the only day among several weeks of pouring rain) however it was absolutely freezing! The venue, though, was lovely and cosy - a very comfortable temperature- and we even had to open the door to cool down during the dancing portion in the evening. There is also plenty of indoor space if the weather doesn't cooperate, which was a major factor in us booking it. The venue work exclusively with Circa Catering and we had a great experience with them as well- more fantastic staff, loads of menu choices and lots of options for customising it and making it your own. Thank you so much Long Furlong! Best day ever!

Perfect venue for a perfect day. A little out of the way so would recommend getting local accommodation. Options nearby are b&bs in Findon or Washington. No signal but free WiFi. The catering associated with the venue for weddings hit the perfect note for the event I attended.

Well what can we say! We got married at Long Furlong on Saturday 18th May 2019 and we had the most magical and amazing day we would not have changed anything about our day. All the team at Long Furlong made our day extra special, especially James and Georgia. Attended a wake here after a funeral service at the nearby crematorium. The barn and facilities are beautiful and with the picturesque South Downs location it would be hard to better this for celebrations such as a wedding reception, which is it's main function. Good quality food and service were supplied by the owners and we were well looked after. Highly recommended.

Stunning views, great layout, well designed with a lot of thought going into it. Toilets were excellent, food was awesome and each member of staff was perfectly picked for their role, amazing service. I believe the General Manager was Dom - he was on to of everything, was visible all through the day so any queries were easily sorted. Dom comes across as one of the most 'in control' people that I have meet, instilling confidence immediately.

Absolutely stunning venue with gorgeous views of the Downs. The barn area is beautifully set up for formal dining and is a very romantic setting for a wedding. There is space for a disco as well as lots of space outdoors for mingling and enjoying drinks.

A nice place to attend a function in warm weather. Might be a bit too remote and cold for winter weather. Staff friendly and helpful . Vegans and gluten-free catered for however rest of food contained a lot of salad cream (yuck), seeds and nuts so not great for allergy sufferers but I guess you maybe able to specify what food you want them to serve. Also don't wear your nice stiletto heels in the car park as the loose stone surface scratches them to bits as I unfortunately found out (shoes now ruined).

Absolutely stunning venue!! My husband and I think ourselves very lucky to have been able to get married in such a beautiful place. Emily and Josh were brilliant all the way through our preparation and even making sure it all ran smoothly on our big day! We used their recommended suppliers; Circa Events, for the amazing food who tailored to our needs. Disco Fever, the DJ and photo booth which exceeded our expectations. To Have and to Hire, who made the barn look absolutely perfect. We had the best wedding ever here at Long Furlong Barn. Just wish it didn't end and we could do it all over again. We found this little gem by chance and were so pleased. We used the barn for a funeral and the staff so helpful with suggestions and prompt answers to questions. The venue was perfect, just the right size and layout, using just the barn for about 120 people, with a finger food buffet. Parking was easy and facilities well maintained. The suggested caterers (Circa events) provided excellent food and a well stocked bar. Many thanks.

We had our wedding in this lovely venue in February 2018. The staff Emily and Vicki were so helpful every step of the way specially nearer to the date of our wedding and gave me and my husband much assistance in what we needed. The picturesque view is what made us choose the venue even though our wedding was during winter. We were blessed to have had a great weather as well! I would definitely recommend this location to couples who are looking for a barn wedding and something that is out of the city.

Choosing a wedding venue can be so difficult, particularly in beautiful Sussex. Long Furlong Barn has two major assets; firstly the barn(s) are beautiful. Second Emily, Josh & the team are first class. On our first visit we were so impressed with the ambiance, location & outstanding style of the barn. The layout is perfect for both ceremony & reception & whilst we did add a few decorations, the internal quality of lighting, sound, furniture & equipment is stunning. Equally both Josh & Emily gave us confidence that every detail would be taken care of to ensure the day was perfect. Information & advice was provided promptly without any pressure. So choosing Long Furlong Barn for our March wedding was easy. From booking through to the day everything was exceptional. The team liaised with other suppliers so we didn't need to worry, they followed our requests to the letter but also provided invaluable advice where we needed help. On the day, Josh ensured everything ran to plan, which meant we could focus completely on each other & our guests. We cannot express how wonderful our day at Long Furlong was, everyone commented on the beauty of the barn & the coordination of the day. If you are looking for perfection it is the venue to choose. This is a delightful venue with lots of character and helpful staff, don't exist to get any signal though so always pre-book a taxi when visiting. There is guest WiFi but it's painfully slow. We attended a wedding of some 150+ people and comfortably filled it. The dance floor is great, the space is great with a gorgeous courtyard for guests to retire to in the summer evenings with heat lamps for comfort. All in all its great, but be wary of your guest numbers as it would be all too easy to overcrowd, and ensure your mindful of getting back from your night out!

If you are currently researching wedding venues, look no further! We got married at Long Furlong Barn in October and had an incredible day to remember. The barn is set in the middle of the Sussex countryside with beautiful rolling fields surrounding the venue. The Long Furlong staff are fabulous, especially in the run-up to the day when stress levels are high! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue!

We got married here in November 2015 and cannot recommend highly enough. The venue was superb, when decorated it was breathtaking, and comfortably catered for the 150ish guests that we had. Josh was on hand both in the months leading up to as well as the day itself, to help and address any questions, worries and demands that we had (and often at very short notice). The large screen projector allowed us to use photos and videos during the speeches which went down a treat! The catering and decoration hire suppliers linked in with Long Furlong were absolutely brilliant too - and we've come away with an amazing set of photos, video and many happy memories of our day. Thank you to Josh and your team - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and wish we could do it all again!

Having attended a wedding at Long Furlong I had seen how great the venue was. So when we were placed in the unwanted situation of having to find a venue for mum Mum's wake we all agreed it was the perfect location. The venue was more than big enough for all the people that attended which was a worry but it comfortably held over 150 people. It was a place that my mum would have loved and had discussed wanting to to hold her 40th wedding anniversary there before she was sadly taken from us.

Josh and Emily are both lovely and so helpful, right from our first viewing, we knew we wanted to go with LFB as our venue of choice, not just because of how beautiful it is, but also because of how genuine the employees of this family owned business were. We were made to feel completely relaxed and not once were we faced with any sort of opposition which we had experienced with other venues we had visited. Josh and Emily both appear relaxed and easy going, but at the same time are super efficient and organised. Cannot thank them enough for all they did to make our day so amazing. I can't thank the LFB team enough for making our wedding day so special. Working with Josh and the team was great fun, but more importantly so easy! The venue is simply stunning, what they have achieved with the transformation made this a perfect choice for us to share the most special day with our friends and loved ones. We had 120 guests who were so well looked after through-out the whole day, nothing was too big an ask for them - they even stored all of the things we left behind until after honeymoon, and saved all of the special little pieces (favors, table cards etc) that we would have just forgotten. Friends of ours enjoyed the day so much they have booked their nuptials here also, which is a compliment to us, but more so to Josh and the team. THANKS LFB xxx

Attended here a week ago for a 40th wedding anniversary. Can't fault anything here. Staff. Service. Food, the Bar product and general drinks service was top drawer. Obviously I wasn't paying so cannot comment on cost but for venue and overall product - brill! Must be even better on a summers evening. Worth looking at. Tony Perrin.
