Super accommodation in a country setting just a few miles outside York. Little cottages for 2 people up to big houses for up to 20 people. Hot tubs available for some plots. Hosts a wedding venue too with a beautiful barn to host 150-220 people, terrace bar a gardens. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I attended a wedding at this place and thought it was amazing from start to finish. Great accommodation. Very clean cottages and the grounds are well kept. If you get a chance go for the Sunday lunch. You will not be disappointed. There is a very busy road outside the grounds which could do with a path running along side it. The bus into York (#40) stop right outside the gates if you wave it down. They also allow dogs.

Absolutely had a ball start to finish all was long awaited as was a booking for a 50th birthday celebration but then covid hit so delayed till this year and we are so glad we did lovely surroundings , ebor cottage was so spacious for all 12 of us taxi cost into york not expensive at all hot tub great highly recommend black horse for lunch close by but such a pity could not walk to it as had the weather for it too much of a busy rd and no pathway. Owners were lovely as all staff were professional and courteous at all times was lovely they took time out to chat and tell us about the place and surrounding area on our early arrival they hold weddings there too if anyone planning to tie the knot and have an intimate time with all family spending it together as enough cottages together. Would highly recommend cant wait to book our next celebration

I came here for my Hen party last weekend and the communication from start to finish was fantastic I've never booked with a company that has been so helpful, even with cancelling and rebooking just everything has been brilliant. The house was fabulous perfectly sized and all the girls had such a great time, there was no issue with us decorating the house for the weekend. It is also perfectly positioned in relation to the city centre. it cost us around £10 in a taxi. We had a fantastic weekend and i would recommend this venue to anyone who will listen. Thank you. x

Our guests LOVE staying at Villa Farm. It's located 4 miles from York City Centre, has onsite car parking, loads of outdoor space for activities and the larger cottages have hot tubs - perfect for weekend breaks with friends!

Stayed here recently and it was a wonderful place! We stayed in Dove cottage which was beautiful. Had everything you could need, including fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher... It was spacious and very clean, and easy to keep warm despite outside temperatures. The hot tub was wonderful, and we enjoyed using it a lot! Bed was extremely comfortable and large, and had a tv in it too! The location was lovely, and there's a lot of outdoor space to roam around. We felt completely safe and distanced from anyone else. Everything was contactless, including checking in, which was great. We ended up having a health issue and we needed to go York A&E , which meant we needed to stay another night last minute, but they manager was extremely kind and understanding, and did everything she could to help us, and we were very grateful to be able to stay another night. Very much enjoyed staying here, and would recommend to anyone. Looking forward to visiting again in the future±

This is a lovely place to have a wedding. It has a large barn with bar for wedding reception or meeting. It has little cottage,s for guests to stay in and large properties for you to stay in. They are all self catering, very clean and modern. I would recommend this place to anyone to get married there.

Great place for stag/hen doo's or just big group parties. Lovely big outside areas for bbq and most have hot tubs. Very lively so not for quiet holidays.

Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue with the rustic barn style with plenty of outdoor space to really make it your own! The cottages themselves are light and airy and decorated to a high standard with modern appliances, and a hot tub with stunning views of the pond! Fabulous service throughout would highly recommend!

I stayed at the beautiful new Dove cottage at the weekend with my husband for his birthday and we loved it! The cottage is lovely very cosy but with lots of modern features to make it perfect. With a hot tub and an amazingly comfortable double bed with a tv that lifts out of it we had a very relaxing, fun, and comfortable weekend. We also went to the pop up restaurant currently taking place on site at York barn and had the best Sunday lunch ever! Our weekend was amazing and we couldn't recommend Villa Farm enough :)

I was so impressed with York Barn. Karina and Will and their staff couldn't do enough for us. The lodge was so clean and had everything we needed. And the most fluffy towels on our beds. We stayed at Pheasant Rise for two nights for our wedding party and we cannot fault it at all! All the rooms in the house are spacious, clean and the beds are very comfortable! The amenities are modern and easy to use and the kitchen is well stocked! The only negatives were - there was no shampoo/conditioner or soap in the bathrooms and NO hair dryer on site at all - which wasn't ideal when I was getting ready in my wedding dress! We cooked for 30 people on the first night and were unsure whether the pots could go in the oven - so Corrina came and dropped off two of her own which was so lovely of her! Our wedding party was at York Barn everyone commented on what a gorgeous venue it is! I would highly recommend this venue and accommodation if you're looking for somewhere that has easy access to York!

Beautiful venue for your wedding or aniversary or even party celebrations you are planning soon or in the future, it is a well thought out with great attention to detail. Corrina the owner manager and organiser with amazing help from an army of well drilled and attentitive proffessional staff,will make your stay memorable. Just celebrated my daughters 50th birthday with her friends and all our family's, it was magical and Would highly reccomend you book this amazing place, it won't disappoint.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Farm. The cottage, along with its hot tub, is set in lovely spacious gardens in the countryside and was just what we needed. The staff were friendly and attentive.We went on some beautiful walks in the Yorkshire moors, about 40 minutes away by car and visited Filey beach, a hidden gem on the Yorkshire coast. Thank you so much for offering this accommodation.

This was our first visit to Villa Farm - it was a last minute 4 night booking for our family of four. Our stay in Coney Cottage was very enjoyable - it was very comfortable and very well equipped. A great location to visit York, close to Retail Park and Restaurants with the beaches of Scarborough, Bridlington and Whitby. The cottage very clean and warm provided a home for five days. Our three dogs made really welcome Real value for money

We stayed here in knavesmire cottage as a group of 7 ladies last weekend for a hen weekend When we walked in were were gobsmacked!! Such a beautiful and big cottage! It was spectacular! Immaculately clean! And just beautiful! Hot tub the the garden made the weekend! We spent a lot of time in here! More than enough bathrooms and space for all of us. We were able to get shopping delivered so that we didn't need to go out for food and a taxi into York was only 10/15 mins. Amazing place and I will recommend to everyone! Thank you Villa Farm for making the bride's hen weekend one to remember forever!

Lovely venue, however not luxury --do not supply toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion and soap for shower or face/hands. Nor is there one hairdryer on the premises, let alone in each guest room --not good if guests are preparing for a wedding.

Stayed for a weekend across Ebor and Bishop Cottage with a large group of gentlemen. Fantastic venue, great location and brilliant facilities. Lots of communal space and very clean throughout. Great parking. There was a couple of other large groups staying at the in other cottages but never felt on top of each other of disturbed each other. Villa farm team were always available before hand to help with anything in the organisation. Would definitely recommend staying at Villa Farm to friends and family

I have just recently stayed in Minster Lodge and have to say wow what a fantastic place to stay, well maintained in good decor and beautiful surroundings my only complaint is that the hot-tub is very exposed and open to the elements. Having said all that I would still recommend Villa Farm Cottages to friends and family lookng for somewhere for a short break.

If it was possible to give more than 5 stars then I would! This place is absolutely unreal. The photos on the website do not do this place justice at all! We arrived a little bit early for check in but there was already someone waiting for us to show us around and when we walked in, the cottage was absolutely immaculate! I was so impressed. I didn’t actually stay at the cottages as I live in Australia, I organised the hen party stay for my sister and 12 of her friends and family members. On behalf of them I would like to thank you for a wonderful stay, all I have heard is good things about the stay, they said the staff were so accomodating and the cottages were beautiful and in a great location. Running up to the stay the staff I emailed were ever so helpful in helping me organise things even down to mini bus booking and take away recommendations. Thank you so much, when I am back in the Uk in November we will certainly be looking at booking a stay at the cottages.

Excellent Venue. 12 of us went for my 30th birthday and the Roman Cottage was spacious. Only downside was the kettle was broken, us geordies like a good cuppa tea, and the heating kept turning off but the staff onsite help instantly.

We had our Girlie Christmas do here and we’re looked after so well, as we were all from different households we were sat outside under the shelter of the lovely canopy which has great heaters, blankets were also provided The 3 course meal we had was absolutely delicious which was made by purple chilli catering So please with the overall experience Would highly recommend to everyone
