I feel so lucky to have had Helen create our floral arrangements and styling for our wedding last month in Crayke. Right from the start Helen really understood what we wanted to achieve, using the colours from my wedding dress and weaving through a beautiful vibrant theme through the table decorations, bouquet and button holes.. even suggesting a gorgeous little basket filled with petals for my flower girl niece. Helen was easy to work with, always super professional but warm and easy going at the same time (so important when wedding day nerves hit!). Even on the big day itself, Helen was there to ensure every detail was taken of. We were blown away with how amazing the venue looked for both the ceremony and the reception, everyone commented how stunning the flowers were and how beautiful the tables looked. Unfortunately for us we had to head off on honeymoon the next day but plenty of our lucky relatives and friends got to take the flowers home with them to enjoy for many more days! Don’t hesitate to contact Helen if you are considering her, five stars all the way!

Asking Helen to do our wedding flowers was one of the best decisions we made during the planning process. She was so professional from the very beginning but at the same time she was approachable and friendly and listened closely to what we had in mind. She managed to bring our ideas to life and created an absolutely stunning atmosphere for our day. As a couple with different cultural backgrounds, we had different wedding traditions that we wanted to honour on the day and Helen made it all happen – from the myrtle in my flower crown to the many buttonholes for our guests… Thank you, Helen, for making our day look (and smell) magical!

We feel very lucky that Helen created our simply BEAUTIFUL floral arrangements for our July wedding 2021 in York. She was so helpful with inspiration photos and suggestions to help me make my loose and vague ideas become a reality. She created a selection of beautiful arrangements for our large venue and really made it come to life. My bridal and bridesmaids bouquets were absolutely gorgeous and much more beautiful than any Pintrest photos I had seen. The pastel tones complimented the bridesmaid dresses perfectly and she had created the perfect 'just picked' style I was hoping for. So many guests commented on the stunning arrangements on the tables and were keen to take one home! Helen was fantastic at answering any of my questions and even sorted out some very last minute decorations I has forgotten about. Five star recommendation.

Helen created our wedding flowers and she was amazing. She was easily contactable if we had any questions. We had a few ideas for center peices but got very overwhelmed with this. Helen new exactly what we were trying to create and helped us decide. The flowers on the day were stunning and exactly what we wanted. Helen has been giving very attention to details since intitial meeting about our wedding flowers . Truly apprecitaed her attentiveness in listening to what we duscuss and request and fulfilled what we wanted. And made sure our needs are met as the way we wish through out by confirming with many sample pictures . When we were delayed to reply about deposit payment as our parents back home got Covid , she waited and reassured us with full understanding . She accpeted our last minute additional request to do the ring box and button hole flower for ring boy just two days before our wedding and went beyond our expectation and finished it beautifully and amazingly on time . And delivered on time to wedding venue and the hotel where we got ready for our wedding too . I truely love all her flowers , especially my orchid bouqet and my hubby loved his button holes and we could not stop talking about the top table flowers too !! Thank you very much indeed Helen ❤

A truly exceptional florist with a deep understanding of nature, location and atmosphere. As a wedding florist, Helen is utterly exceptional even to the point of incorporating specially fragrant flowers into arrangements for a wedding with a blind groom. Willow and Bear source much of their material from locations very close at hand. They have a style and range of presentations which means they can work in locations as diverse as a small country church and a large stately home to equally good effect. we cannot praise them highly enough for their exceptional service and attention to detail. She came highly recommended from a flower grower to make my daughters wedding bouquet .This was very last minute and absolutely no trouble to Helen at all. I had given myself the task of doing the other wedding flowers myself ! Helen offered me the use of her own work studio helped and guided my sister in law and I into making the most wonderful flower arrangements which were widely admired . Her help when way beyond expectations with the lending of various vases jars and even crates to transport all the flowers to the venue ! and coffee from Helen’s Husband too ! I cannot rate or recommend Helen highly enough! Everytime I have ordered anything from her be it a cheer up bouquet for a friend, a 60th birthday flower arrangement or a flower crown workshop she has approached it with such care, attention to detail and creativity. Everything she produces is outstanding and her passion really shines through. Not being the most creative person in the world I was a bit anxious about the flower crown workshop but Helen coached me and I created a crown fit for a festival queen! I don't know any other florist who is as dedicated as Helen - keep doing what you're doing! And if anyone is ever in need of a florist don't think twice about using Helen I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Helen recently decorated our venue for our wedding in September. From the moment we knew we were going ahead with a small ceremony Helen was amazing at keeping in contact and meeting us to plan our decorations. She captured our wedding theme perfectly! The room was stunning! Helen and the team were so professional in the set up and changing the room around I wasn’t even aware that they were even at the venue. The room design Helen did was just above and beyond what I could have ever imagined myself. We were very keen on having wedding favours that people could keep forever and Helen gave us the fabulous idea of pots of heather which were also used in the room design for our ceremony and reception, giving them an extra special meaning to our guests. Since our wedding numbers had to be reduced due to COVID, Helen was very aware of the venue and the size of the room, using lots of amazing ideas to make the room feel intimate and romantic so our smaller wedding party wouldn’t feel ‘lost’ in a big room. The flowers and foliage used were simply stunning and we loved the natural feel that this gave to our venue styling. I would highly recommend Helen to anyone looking for a flower venue stylist or bouquets. Her professional manner will keep you at ease when wedding planning. Helens professionalism and attention to detail really helped to make our special day one we won’t forget.

The perfect gift and the best cut flowers I’ve been able to find both inside and outside of lockdown. An archetypal English country garden style with an eye for detail. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Helen’s unique (often antique) planters too - she helped source an antique jam pan and herb combos which made the perfect gift. Enjoy before she gets too busy!!
