I have been using Accounts and Legal to undertake bookkeeping, VAT returns and accounting for the best part of a decade. The dy-to-day service provided is efficient and consistent, along with A&L having range of knowledgeable professionals with whom you can discuss different aspects of tax, financing, grants, etc., as and when required. In particular, our point person Beata Suduiko is excellent, being highly responsive to our needs from day to day and month to month. She's a good problem solver and has great initiative, often having things done before we even know they need doing. It's really great to be working with such a professional, and it feels like Beata is on our team at my company. First of all, when I inquired about their services, I received a very comprehensive and welcoming explanation, as I was very unfamiliar with the UK tax system and needed a lot of help coming into it, starting my LTD company here. Furthermore, my assigned accountants, Beata Suduiko and Tracy Nketia, are exceedingly responsive, knowledgable, polite and very comfortable to talk to. I started using A&L back in 2018 and, after 1 year I thought about switching to another company because I did not feel the accountant I was assigned to initially was very helpful. HOWEVER he decided to leave A&L in 2019 and I was assigned to another accountant-Chris Barnard. I decided to give Chris a try and thank god I did because he is fantastic! Chris is great at his job and he really cares about his clients. He is so resourceful, professional yet approachable and attentive. In 2020 he introduced me to Katriana Coombe to help with my accounts as well and, although I was unsure initially (because of my initial experience), Katriana is also fantastic. She is very professional, approachable, knowledgable, very patient and so kind! I am extremely happy with my accounting team and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for an accounting firm.

Initially dealing with Greg, the transfer process from our previous accountant was efficient (including transferring our Xero account). What sets Accounts & Legal apart from other accountancy practices is that they always seem contactable, which as a young business set-up, is crucial to us. There is no more sitting at the desk stressing over numerous accounting queries whilst trying to compile a lengthy email requesting help, when it is made very easy to request help by a simple phone call. It is these readily available and concise pieces of guidance which helps give us confidence in our accounts set-up, and procedures going forward.
