Was just in the store today to look for a tank for my son for his Christmas. Was helped out by Craig and Jacob. They helped me so much as I know nothing about fish will be back to get his tank in a few weeks and all the fish looked in such good condition.

Came to the store on Sunday hoping to start my first salted water tank. Had a good discussion with the man about fish choices for a nano tank, and he was helpful. The store seems to have a good choice of tropical and outdoor fish, however less stock marine fish, invertebrates, and corals, but i was assured this was due to waiting on a delivery in the next couple of weeks. Also somewhat better selection on pond and tropical dry goods and machines than marine, but alright price for what was available. Will hopefully return soon to decide on tank.

Very well looked after store with healthy fish and hardworking staff! Came in last week for advice regarding my pond and received brilliant advice from one of the young lads working there, believe named Jacob. Very friendly attitude and can tell the young man knows what he is talking about! Have installed my new filter and added the bacteria boost and my water quality is finaly perfect. My fish are also looking healthier than ever! Will deffinately be back again after my positive experience!

Great selection of cold water ,tropical and marine fish. Good solid knowledge on types of fish and products. Store tanks are always in good condition. All in all its probably the best around.

It's ok, call me a snowflake but I didnt like the the giant wheelie bin type tanks out the back. The fish looked sad. Good job they have short memories. Please rush over and buy to rescue. The other fish looked amazing and they feed th koi to the amusement of on lookers. They were in a giant tank.

First time visiting Braehead fishkeeper today, my go-to has always been Coatbridge, but Braehead was definitely well worth the travel! The staff are very knowledgeable around fish, which makes me more comfortable in the advice that I received. Big thanks to Elliee and Jacob for the fantastic job walking me through my first Tanganika cichlid setup. I am very grateful for your patience and time with me!! I will most definitely be returning to Braehead more often and recommend to my fishkeeping friends!

One of my favorite fish stores to visit. Always have a great range of fish and will try to order what you want if they can and don't have it in. Good range of accessories too. The staff are great. Always a good experience. Great range of fish and products. Slightly overpriced but I can accept that compared to the likes of Pets at Home who are overpriced, don't have a clue about fish, keep manky tanks and tend to have dead fish floating about. Fishkeeper take the time out to clean and maintain healthy tanks. No-one comes out with a tablet asking personal information questions. If your a beginner they will provide you with the info you need. If after 20 seconds, they establish that you are an experienced fish keeper, they don't continue asking pointless questions and instead crack on with catching the fish you have asked for. This method of recognising and knowing your customer is superb and exactly how it should be done. No fuss, no messing about and is why I would not go to any other 'Chain Brand' establishment. The contrast between these guys and Pets at Home is off the scale. Keep up the great work.

After struggling to find a certain fish for quite some time I contacted fishkeeper in Glasgow and they managed to source them for me. After communicating over a number of weeks with the staff and in particular Callum, it was clear that the they were very knowledgeable and their customer service was excellent. The fish I received from them were exactly what I was looking for. I was really pleased that the quality and health of the fish was perfect and after a few weeks they are growing well. I have experience with other aquatic shops and it is safe to say that I will be sticking with fishkeeper Braehead for my fish and information in the future. I have been here a few times, their selection of fish, plants and equipment are very good! Their prices can be a bit expensive, but the quality of the fish are excellent. Most staff in this store are friendly, will assist you with whatever you need and give you the correct advice however there have been occasions where i have not been pleased with some of the staffs demeanor and attitude towards the customers and the way they handle the animals (Tipping the bag aggressivley while the fish is inside, etc.) Its not the main fishkeeper store i would go to, but its still a good experience.

Was looking to buy fish for my new tank. The young chap, Gary, that we spoke to was very knowledgeable about this subject. Ok the fish might be a wee bit more costly but the service makes up for it. Bought from pets at home few days previously and the fish died after a couple of days plus the information received was the exact opposite to fishkeeper.

I visited the store mid January 2020, to purchase freshwater tropical fish for my community tank, the staff were very attentive, and knowledgeable and advised on which co2 apparatus would be best for my tank, as I have it heavily planted out and although plants are healthy I was told that they might also benefit from a injection of co2 as for the fish choice it was a bit poor, compared to other shops in the Glasgow area, as tanks had been filled up with the same fish as I counted three tanks with the same fish , which is a great pity as I am sure that with a better choice for Aquarian’s, this would encourage them to return on a more regular basis, as I am sure in this retail climate would be more to Fishkeeper Scotland’s liking as more sales increase profits. Just another small point I was given a loyalty card, but no input from the staff as to its benefits or even how this card works, which Should be another point to encourage sales.

I bought a Biorb through click and collect which was nice and easy and the staff were so friendly when I went to collect it. However after a few days the noise from the air stone started to get very loud. When I took the tank back into the store the staff could not have been more helpful in trying to diagnose the problem. They were able to sort it out for me there and then and now it’s nice and quiet again. Would definitely recommend the shop!

As a new aquarium enthusiast I was recommended by my niece to visit Fishkeeper Braehead. Although the store is a little on the small side for tropical fish I found the livestock is varied. On 2 occasions when visiting this store I've dealt with Nicola who has offered me the best advice for my thriving aquarium. I'll certainly seek her advice again should I visit the store in the future. I've given this store 4 out of 5 stars although I was signed up for the Fishkeeper Scotland Rewards Card it wasn't explained to me what this was and the advantages, I've saves 297 points! What does this mean??

Well kept, clean tanks and shop floor. Friendly female staff, one obnoxious male member of staff we didn't catch the name of. Well stocked, they have always had whatever we have gone in for, in stock. Knowledgeable staff. Excellent parking in Dobbies Carpark of which this is part of. As part of Dobbies, it has access to clean, spacious toilets and an excellent coffee shop/restaurant.

A great wee shop tucked away inside dobbies, shop is small but holds alot of products. The staff are really friendly Scott and Callum have been fantastic in helping my family get our fish tank back to better health and offering great advice.

Great place for aquarium supplies. Also stocks live plants and has a large selection of tank medicines as well. A large selection of tanks are also available from small nano tanks to very large aquariums. Also stocks maybe fish and live rock as well and a nice selection of tropical fish and child water fish. Everything you need in one place.

Honestly I thought this was part of Dobbies Garden Centre. In fact it's separate but based inside the garden centre and has a wide selection of fish both cold water and mostly warm water, also tanks and peripherals including pumps, heaters and thermostats everything you 'll need and they seem relatively inexpensive although despite the fact I have a fish tank I am a novice, but women was helpful and attentive
