The lovely people at The Flower Shop did a beautiful job on the flowers for our wedding! They were very relaxed and accommodating to work with, we initially spoke with them 3 months out from the wedding and wanted a small order of a bouquet, boutonniere and 12 small vases to make up 4 centre pieces. We dropped the vases off 2 weeks beforehand and popped in to collect them on they day, I couldnt have been happier. These ladies are amazing, the always do me proud with the flowers I buy from them. Not only are they friendly, professional and incredibly kind they are also really good at their job. They have been my preferred florist since my wedding flowers and are now the go to for any funeral that I need an extra special touch. One of the things that touched me the most was the fact they hand delivered our cards to write out (we needed 4 - one for each sibling) within a few hours of my initial request. We went to The Flower Shop in Caversham to arrange Floral tributes for my Nan's funeral. It was very emotional arranging our tributes but Laura was amazing. We wanted a 'Nan' tribute but wanted something different to that in their brochure. My mum also wanted something different for her 'Mum' tribute. Saved the Day! My uncle and I used to build model spacecraft together so for his funeral I spent weeks trying to find a florist who could do a space shuttle. The closest thing I found was a Concorde done by Flowers by Cherie in Reading and after a quick chat, Cherie agreed to take it on ready for same day pickup, the day before the funeral. It was absolutely superb. Sometimes these things don't turn out well in flowers but Cherie obviously knows her craft well and the end result was phenomenal, so much so that the took centre stage in the back window of the hearse. And thanks to Cherie's husband who made the frame with such short notice, brilliant work by you both x

I've been using The Flower Shop for about the last two years now and can rate them an easy 5 stars. Of the 4 orders I've placed, all have been delivered on time, looked amazing, and importantly the arrangement has lasted over a week. The one most recent order I had any sort of complaint about (and even then you could argue the high heat was a major consideration), the flowers wilted in a few days. I cannot fault the actions of the Flower Shop though in getting a new bunch to my partner on a fast turnaround. Excellent service, will absolutely continue to use in the future. Edit 29 Feb 2010 - we've just reluctantly thrown the valentine's flowers that have lasted over two weeks. Outstanding as usual. Supermarket flowers do not last this long, money well spent :)
