Don’t let the name of the shop deceive you. Yes they have fresh flowers, but they also have the Big Willy Distillery favorites. Had a great tasting of the distillery’s favorites and enjoyed them. (Well my wife enjoyed the Pink Gin. A bit sweet for me.) The Gin was great and also found the Dark Rum an interesting flavor and found it’s way into our shopping bag. Don’t leave Market Weighton without stopping here. You won’t be disappointed.

I have used this florists on a number of occasions with excellent results . My family have always been very happy with the first rate service provided and the help with choosing exactly what we want by the staff here. Flowers delivered to a number of addresses around the country have always reached their destination as required with no disappointments and compliments received from recipients . I have advised others to visit this shop and i know that they were and are very happy with the results .

Due to last minute amendments for our wedding we required 1 custom button hole to be made for the mother of the bride. Sally was so accommodating and kind. She was able to create a beautiful button hole which complimented my mum’s dress perfectly and was able to set our minds at ease less than 24hrs before getting married! Simply Outstanding Service - We live in Hornsea, my wife wanted to send flowers to her dear friend in Market Weighton after the death of her husband. She tried florists both here and in Beverley and no one wanted to know or else were going to charge outrageous delivery charges. I suggested we try a florist in Market Weighton and we chose Flower Merchant. She telephoned the order at 1.20pm and received a text from her friend at 2pm, saying "thank you for the beautiful flowers". I live in America now but grew up in Shiptonthorpe. I have been using Sally May for afew years now to send mum mothers day flowers and birthday flowers. I consistently hear from my mum that the flowers last a very long time and are presented beautifully. I always ask them to just go crazy and create whatever they like within a certain budget and they always come out top notch. Its great to see local shops like this consistently doing great service. Personally I don't like ordering flowers from a website as it is so impersonal so I make the long distance call everytime so I can speak to them myself and its always a joy.
