Excellent 1ST design visit with Richard where advice and help were given to create the wardrobe and media unit. The fitters arrived at the appointed time and worked quietly, leaving everywhere neat, clean and tidy. They were very polite and friendly. Excellent service by skilled tradesmen and all work carried out competently and professionally. The furniture looks lovely, it is well fitted with exceptionally good use of space. Richard and his team are top notch! From start to finish we had excellent communications. Everyone turned up when they said they would. Richard recommended a plasterer who completed remedial works before his team fitted our sliding wardrobes. He also advised us on the order of getting jobs done (it was a back to plaster full revamp). Yes, we had to wait for a 'slot' to be available, but it has been so worth it! Everyone was friendly and polite and tidied up at the end of each day. We wanted to use a local firm and are absolutely thrilled with the finished result. We are so impressed with Richard and his team and would recommend them to anyone.

Bartlams Fitted Bedrooms were recommended to us by a good friend. Initially we spoke with Lee the fitter who suggested we come along to the showroom to see the wardrobe collections. We went over and met both Lee and the owner Richard. Both so friendly and helpful we were very impressed with them and with the quality of the product. Richard visited our house and drew up our wardrobe requirements. He was quick, friendly and professional so we placed our order. Lee and Jamie the expert fitters arrived a few weeks later. They got to work straight away and within a couple of days the two wardrobes were fitted and all our bedroom furniture assembled. The boys were so professional and extremely clean and tidy. We are delighted with our new bedroom furniture and would highly recommend Richard and his team at Bartlams Fitted Bedrooms. We were recommended to visit Bartlams late last year by a family member who had their wardrobes fitted many years ago by them and boy we were not disappointed. From the very moment we met Richard you could tell he had been in the business a very long time. I never felt pushed into buying but always felt he listened to our needs as a customer. Initially we were supposed to get the wardrobes fitted in March but due to building work not being complete, we had to push it back until July. Richard and his team were extremely accommodating to our needs. As for the fitting and product itself I can only tell you how amazing they look and the quality is incredible especially when you consider the price we paid. Believe me, they will save you money and not cut any corners! If it's bedroom wardrobes your after then don't look any further than Bartlams!

Had a sliding door wardrobe in one bedroom with extra shelves coming off the wardrobe...we had what we wanted inside....hanging rails, draws and extra shelves :) Also had two made to measure fitted wardrobes that had sloping ceilings and they look fantastic! Found Bartlams through Google and called them up because of their 65+ 5-star reviews. Very straightforward dealing with Richard. They have a good range of designs to choose from, and they gave us exactly the design and combination of wardrobe shelves, drawers and hanging space. I also got a quote from Sharps from the high street, and their very best price (after all the discounts) was 70% more expensive than Bartlams. Fitting was done and dusted in a day and a half. Fitters were polite and straightforward, explained what they were doing, and cleaned up after themselves. All in all, a very good experience, and I'm happy to recommend.

Having had a bad experience getting a quotation from a big national bedroom furniture company we decided to find a local independent business that could provide a more personal service. From the moment we met Richard for the first time at the Bartlams Fitted Bedrooms Showroom through the whole process of quotation, ordering, manufacturing and fitting it has been a great five star customer experience. When Richard came round to measure up, he listened to us to find out what we were looking for, offered some great suggestions to make best use of the available space and came up with a design that we were happy with. We were kept informed of their progress during the manufacturing process and then when installation time arrived the team arrived on time as promised. The guys were here for two days, didn't leave any mess and did an amazing job. I can't recommend this company and higher as the quality of the work is of a very high standard. The work was all finished in a day, much faster than expected. The team used dust covers and vacuumed up both during and after the job leaving the room and stairwell in an immaculate condition. The team of Lee & Jamie completed the fitting in one day, having first covered stair, landing & bedroom carpets and wearing shoe covers. Bartlams Fitted Bedrooms are a professional family run business. We went to visit Richard at his show room after trying and getting quotes from two other companies and straight away felt comfortable, Richard has a no pressure approach offering guidance and suggestions when needed whilst maintaining our vision of what was wanted. We recently bought a new house and decided on investing in custom built furniture for both the dressing room and the study. Having started searching online for made to measure wardrobes, I found Bartlams and was really impressed when I read the great reviews by previous customers. So I decided to make contact and get a quote and some inspiration towards the specific wardrobe interior I was looking for. During the initial callout it was very easy to discuss the design and colours and we shared ideas to produce something we were really happy with. Installation was completed in a day, and I was really pleased with the finish. It really was as good as I hoped, the whole family have been complimenting the quality and stunning look of the wardrobe. I would strongly recommend Bartlams Fitted Bedrooms, they really do deliver on exactly what they promise. Would always use Bartlam's again for any future projects!!

Having had various (extremely expensive and complicated) quotes for a two-door sliding wardrobe from national and local companies, I was delighted when I finally found Bartlams and got a much better price, and they fitted directly onto carpet. The showroom had a great variety in colours and styles. There was no greasy sales technique and Richard worked with me to achieve my design easily, maintaining a good price. On installation, the guys were really personable, clearly very experienced, very organized, and they cleaned up really well once they finished. No nonsense, lovely people that are most likely to give you the wardrobe you're after. I wish I'd found them sooner. Don't bother with the bigger companies: go straight to Bartlams. I thoroughly recommend them!

We wanted a change for the master bedroom and decided to come back to Bartlam’s because the current wardrobes are in excellent condition. So we knew these guys won’t let us down. The best wardrobe fitters in Bham! The wardrobes are bespoke and 1000 times better than Hammonds or Sharp. The designer is very accommodating and work men will go the extra mile. I can't recommend Richard and his team highly enough. I contacted Richard after reading the reviews on Google, he was professional, both him, Lee and the team were hardworking, reliable, punctual and great workmanship. The prices are very reasonable and best of all the wardrobes are so well made with great quality materials. He is a complete perfectionist, there was a minor mark he noticed on one of the doors which I would probably not have noticed, he removed the door and got it replaced. The fitters were very friendly and professional and fitted within 2 days and put my tv and electric bracket up on the wall. Went to the showroom and had a look around. Very helpful to explain exactly what they do and explain all the materials and options. We went for a 2 door sliderobe. They came out measure up and went through the interior options that were fully customisable. There was a bit of a wait on the installation time but this was already expected and explained on our first visit. When they guys came to install they covered the carpets with dust sheets and got on with the job very fast and was completed in less than a day. The room was left very clean and the finished wardrobe was stunning. They explained all the features around the soft close and draw removal before leaving. Very helpful. Great quality product.
