From the showroom staff to the delivery drivers we had excellent service. Ordered our sofa and chair last week and was due to arrive at 9 15 this morning and arrived an hour later due to issue with the van but we were kept informed throughout and well done getting the van sorted so quickly- would certainly buy from FABB again.

Always read the small print, they do not offer refunds if you change your mind, even if it's within the 14 days, still waiting for my furniture it's been over 21 weeks, apparently due in next week but not holding my breath, we shall see.

We visited the Colchester AHF and recently purchased a sofa and 2 chairs.Our salesman David Woolcott quickly identified what we were looking for and narrowed down our choices, which was very helpful rather than wandering and not really knowing what we were looking for. Very polite and not pushy at all, David made the process very easy for us and we look forward to our new furniture being delivered in due course. Excellent customer experience thank you David.

Friendly , helpful and proffesional. Products here are so much better than certain other large sofa companies. AHF was part of the coop and previous suites from them have lasted 10 years plus and still going strong compared to max 5 to 6 years from other major sofa retailers and then knackered!

I was extremely impressed by the service. I was able to enter the shop and not be pounced on. Staff were pleasant and greeted me but nothing more (this is a huge positive). I think that AHF are forward thinking in their approach to customer service. I was served by Terry at Colchester tolegate and he was so informative . I was treated like an adult and guided when required. I have to admit that if I would have been approached after entering the shop I would have left without purchase. Being able to clearly identify a member of staff and approach them when I required made me stay longer and think about what I was looking for. I was also happy to be given the name of the hospice as a place where if I had a sofa that I would like to donate to; this could help the community and aid my preparation for my new sofa. This is what sets AHF a league above its competitors. For this reason I will promote you through my own social media. Thank you Terry and AHF for bringing corporate into the community. I would like to know if you are corporate volunteers at the hospice. This really would be forward thinking .

A large selection of quality furniture that is affordable as one can pay it off, interest free over 4 years, allowing one to purchase an item to the value of around £1500 to cost approximately £30 per month without feeling the pinch on your pocket. The staff are exceptionally professional and polite, with many years of experience to guide you without feeling hurried or pressured. We dealt with two of your best, namely Paul on the furniture side and Terry quoted us for carpets. We are extremely satisfied customers and would highly recommend your store.

Nice selection of sofas, but we left pretty much straight away as we were hounded the second we walked through the door, which I hate, and we weren't left alone to browse. We took our business to DFS as they don't hassle you constantly.

Ordered a settee May 2014 told 8/10 weeks salesman even said usually in by about 6/8/weeks.Ten weeks now up heard nothing phoned spoke to a woman who said will contact the supplier I am not in tomorrow this was Thursday so when back in on Saturday will phone you.I said I am out Saturday but leave a message on my answerphone will do she said.Back Saturday evening no message not surprised as she sounded very vague as if on another planet.Sunday phone again same woman excuse did not phone you as sent the supplier an email and not heard back yet.Can you phone them I asked?no she said we do not have a number for them.then went on to say thought they would have answered my fax by now.Well if they have a fax machine they have a phone line .I then phoned their customer relations dept waste of time that was.Spoke to a man again will phone you back he did not .I phoned again told he is at lunch will phone you when he comes back.two hours later phone again to be told did not phone as waiting to hear from supplier back to square one again.Told him good mind to cancel the order he then said if you read the terms and conditions the order can go over by 4weeks before you can cancel.told him will never ever buy from them again as not once did the salesman mention going over 10weeks according to him 10 weeks was the most you would have to wait .Worst furniture shop have ever dealt with pity the service is not as old fashioned as the coop is itself when the customer was important so better off going to DFS where went before never had all this hassle.So shop here at your peril you have been warned.
