Excellent advise from Russell re how to choose colours, great patience and a fantastic result on both chairs that I had re upholstered . One rescued from a skip and another destroyed by my cats over the years. Kenny delivery also excellent. A great warm honest company and a brilliant result all in the time given! Would highly recommend Russell and the team. I wanted to have all my caravan seating re-upholstered - but in a pvc/vinyl fabric. Russell sent me a couple of web links to look at fabrics and then arranged for me to receive samples of the ones I had picked out. Once chosen, the team came and picked up the cushions and then worked their magic. To say I am absolutely thrilled with the end result is an under statement. I am now planning to have my conservatory chairs re-upholstered. I was also impressed by Russell’s knowledge around the construction of my chairs and what types of fabric would suit them best in the location they are in - although he will cover your items in whatever fabric you choose! Very reasonable pricing and a smooth and professional service. Thanks guys.

I have found Signature Upholstery excellent in every way. I have had three old chairs recovered, one a particularly tricky old rocking chair, and have been delighted by the finished pieces. Great customer service. Dealt with Russel first over email where he was quick to respond and clear with his instructions. As I am Edinburgh based we could arrange for the cushions to be collected which was done in a timely manner. The returned filled cushions have a new lease of life. It is like a purchased a new chair. I would recommend Signature Upholstery to anyone looking to get a chair re-stuffed or repaired.

Disappointed to say the least £120 to cover a small bedroom stool with material I supplied…. They did make a cushion cover both of which I could have done myself but wanted to support a local business however I won’t be going back …. In response to your reply yes the workmanship was to a high standard perhaps I’d have been better getting an actual quote

Fantastic! We had our Parker Knoll reupholstered because after a couple of years we decided we'd made the wrong choice on pattern when we bought it. Russell and his colleagues were very friendly and knowledgable and helped us choose a new colour from what seemed like thousands of options. It was a year ago that the work was done and it's just taken us ages to write a review. But now we've been sitting on it (and our 2yo has been jumping on it) for just over a year and it still looks and feels as good as new... actually even better than new! The Signature Upholstery folks added new foam for the cushions to make them even better than when we bought the sofa new from Parker Knoll. Thank you! We highly recommend, and may even see you again soon for another sofa!

He collected and dropped off the furniture when he said he would and kept in regular contact so that we knew what stage the process was at. The workmanship is excellent on our item. When we asked Signature Upholstery to upgrade a very old conservatory suite, which was long past its sellbuy date, we did not expect the finished transformation. We had never used them before but when the suite was returned to us it was like a new piece of furniture.The whole process with Signature Upholstery was slick and professional and good value for money. Russell @ Signature Upholstery from the start was an absolute pro in every respect from the sizing and estimating through to the sample options for suede and crushed velvet for the recovering of my king size bed solid oak headboard. He even arranged uplift and delivery of this very heavy item. On receiving my re-upholstered headboard I was blown away by the quality of the fabric used and the professionalism of the fitting. It genuinely looked like it had just come straight from the manufacturer and has given my bed a brand new lease of life. Spending more time in our sitting room during lockdown than normal, we realised how shabby and uncomfortable our vintage 1920s suite had become. Signature Upholstery have sensitively renovated it, with beautiful new tweed wool fabric, from one of their sample pattern books, in a herringbone design. The piping surrounding the seat cushions is a work of art. Very pleased with the final effect.

So lucky to have this company locally. Lots of great fabrics to choose from. The lads will explain what patterns work well on small and larger items. I have had 9 different chairs, mainly second hand items and a foot stool restored and recovered by them at different times. They did a fantastic job on all of them. Pricing estimates are provided up front, across multiple fabric samples of choice if needed, with clear communication throughout. Parking out front is easy and they help you in with items if needed.
