Lovely stocked store with wide walking routes throughout. Very knowledgeable and helpful salesman who looked into resolving all questions posed. Took the trouble to email information next day, that wasn't to hand when we were engaging with him. He offered much in the way of product knowledge and nothing was a bother to him. He made us feel relaxed, mannerly and treated us respectfully....all from the seat of his wheelchair.

Beautiful store with beautiful products. Yes, it's on the pricey side but if you're looking for a special present, or good quality items for yourself and you have extra cash - Sterling Martin & Frost is the place to go. It's also an Edinburgh institution! Moved from several locations throughout the decades - MacDonald Road, Clerk Street and now Kinnaird Park. It's well worth a visit. 🤩

We visited the cafe on this occasion. They do nice coffee and cakes. Never had lunch but it looks good. Nice and bright too. We've bought furniture here in the past too, they have a lot of choice, plus kitchen things and soft furnishings.

An exemplary shopping experience from start to finish, attentive and helpful staff at point of sale, regular and informative communication throughout, after care first class, we had a couple of small issues with our dining room table and sideboard however they dealt with it in a highly professional and speedy way. We bought Italian wardrobe from Martin & Frost. Unlike other suppliers, (even very well known ones) M&F have delivered everything in time, REGARDLESS Brexit, regardless COVID. On top of that. they have also helped to deal with the wardrobe manufacture and even replaced the door. Truly appreciated all the support. Highly recommended. That wasnt the first transaction, they also helped with the bed and wallpapers. Thanks guys! We'll be back to your shop soon!

Just discovered this store today. Their goods are really lovely but not the cheapest that's for sure. However had a lovely coffee ☕ & scone in the café, although it was a bit of a wait for the table service.

It has to be one of the most beautiful shops, not just the furniture that they sell but how they have it all laid out. And the upstairs with all the gifts ,pictures,mirrors, lots-lots more, you can spent a very long time in this lovely’s shop. I have only given it four stars as it is not very disabled friendly or even elderly friendly. It only has stairs to get up and down and they are pretty steep.

Staff in cafe are friendly but please someone train them and being called love about 8 times is somewhat grating. They need to delegate properly. Someone doing teas and coffee and someone on the till. As I said training badly needed because they seem nice people.

The store is conveniently located on the outskirts of the City, with good parking. They do a good job to show as much as they can. The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are at a high-ish end reflecting the quality of the goods.

It's awesome. In every sense of the word. Your jaw hits the floor at the size of the place. Its enormous! Then you see the size of the range of product. Jeez, its huge. Stocking everything from electric shoelace sharpeners to a decorative full size elephant stand. Then, as you hone in on the details, the actual products, you see just how awesome this place is. The prices are amazing. Jaw droppingly huge. Like IKEA added a zero to the end of it's price. Then doubled it. Staggering. As you wander about, picking your jaw off the floor, repeatedly, the sheer depth and breadth of the range smacks you round the head. Gadgets for things you never needed gadgets for. Holders for literally everything that has ever needed held. Storage for your storage. Linen to dress the linen you already have, or will be buying, once you have obtained the new mortgage. Please visit. Just for a day out to see where footballers and hedge fund managers buy their toothbrush holders. To see a minor TV personalities bed of choice. The furniture prices are the gold plated cherry on the truffle soacked cake. Amazing and obscene. They are few and strategically placed, but once you are tempted to try out a sofa or comfy looking chair, make sure you check the price tag. Then run. Run quickly in case your other half takes a liking to it and forces a purchase. This will be the last thing you are able to afford this year or next. So, in summary. Wow. Go see. Go see it and dream. Dream with a view of the Bentleys and Ferraris parked outside. Unless yours is one of those super cars. Then... go nuts. Buy one of everything. But spare a thought to those of us who have to make do without that electric fondue holder. We'll be the ones holding our jaws up.

Mein persönliches Highlight sind die Polstermöbel von Tetrad aus edlem Harris Tweed. Auch in diesem Bereich besteht eine grosse Auswahl. Freundliches, fachkundiges und hilfsbereites Personal, das bestrebt ist, die Kundenwünsche zu erfüllen. (Translated) Traditional furniture shop on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Very wide and deep assortment. Furniture for every room in the house. Rather upper price segment - but quality has its price. My personal highlight is the upholstered furniture by Tetrad made from fine Harris Tweed. There is also a large selection in this area. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff eager to meet customer needs.
