Hate these shop you feel like prey waiting to be pounced on but Charles in the one at Fosse Park was great and totally understood. I've made an appointment to see him.

Excellent service We visited the ScS shop in Fosse park Leicester to purchase sofas today 2nd May 2022. We were served by Anup who was very helpful in enabling us identify the right sofa for our home. He was not pushy and we indeed left the shop and visited nearby sofa shops before we decided the ScS had better ranges and affordable prices. We ended up buying a two seater, a three seater and a lamp table. We also bought a conservatory two piece settee and are looking forward to having these delivered. Anup managed our expectations by informing us that the conservatory settee will arrive in about 3 to 4 weeks, but the rest is likely to be delivered August September time. So although it is a long wait, we are excited to open these at that time, so something to look forward to. Meanwhile, our old sofa was also bought in ScS and that was in 2014. It was a leather corner sofa, still in very good condition but we want to spruce up our house and not with leather 🙈 ScS anytime for me and my family. Went to fross park in Leicester to scs looking for a sofa . They guy who helpt me was very supportive too me and gave me loads of time ect . He was very helpful and wish I had asked on cousins in lighter colour he offerd to put in with my order but I forgot . He was very understanding and patient and to me that means a lot . Overall a very pleasant experience in store. The guy who served us was very friendly and to be fair to him he overcame all of our objections very well, as all good sales people do. He wasn’t pushy at all and was very patient with us. Would have given this 5 stars but it wasn’t until our finance agreement had been signed that he told us that he had added in the fabric care kit which of course was not free. Not the end of the world but it would have been nice to have been asked or told about this prior to completing the purchase.

I recently purchased a G plan powered recliner and matching settee from ScS. This is my second visit to the store having purchased a powered recliner 2 yr ago from the same store. On arrival I did not have to wait for service. We went to the G plan part of the store and sorted out what I I wanted. The sale man was very helpful and friendly. I decided what I wanted and we completed the necessary paperwork. I was then passed on to the administration staff. Everything was done to my satisfaction. Delivery was promised for approximately 5 weeks. I was contacted when the furniture was ready for delivery. Within the 5 weeks. On delivery day I was given one hours notice of their arrival. The furniture was delivered by a very polite and helpful duo.. The items was in tip top condition,the recliner worked perfectly. Would shop at the store again

Unfortunately the fitters couldnt fit my carpet as not ordered the correct size. I'd taken my own measurements but requested they add extra 20cm incase as extra . However this was not done. So 2cms out. I am however very impressed with the after sale as they are going to re order and fulfill my order as this was not my error. I'm happy to see that humanity in business still exists and they have been great . Now awaiting new fitting date.

Very friendly, polite, well mannered young man called Tom welcomed us at the doors, explained the layout due to Covid and pointed us in the right direction of what we were interested in. Liam our sales man was friendly and professional too. They were short staffed, but was apologised to for the wait. We had a lovely chat with Tom whilst we waited. Great team and great service. Visited all the sofa/ furniture shops at Fosse park. I must say the range of sofas was awesome but I didn’t really know what I was looking for until ash offered advice. He asked a variety of questions and understood my needs and showed me various sofas and different seating options/ colours. After choosing the sofa I was made aware of the cleaning kit and insurance and offered it and a discounted rate. I wasn’t sure so decided to not accept it but when I got home and read the benefits I decided it was value for money so returned to the store to still be offered the discounted rate. 5/5 stars from me - will recommend to everyone

So - this review has nothing to do with the sofa's quality or delivery service (yet anyway, as we have only just made the order); the review relates to the customer service standard we received when shopping in the ScS Leicester (Fosse Park): 3 stars only because: the service seemed very rushed, this was the quickest we have ever bought a sofa, the guy seemed not very interested and just wanted to get it out of the way. If it wasn't for the fact we absolutely loved the sofa we bought, I would walk out most likely. Once the papers were rushed through, we were moved to the "finance guy", again quite strange, rushed and not really explained anything (only the absolute legal bits, which he had to), everything we found out, is because we had to ask, double check, read etc... the information wasn't shared with us, again it seemed because the purpose of it all, was to get the sale asap and move on... Don't get me wrong, they were not rude... But when we went around all the other shops, we were greeted with a smile, help and assistance, which seemed little bit more genuine - not just, if you're buying I'm yours, if not, move on... We even observed the same sales person (ScS) speaking to another couple, and we looked at each other, thinking how rude is he?! just the usual "hi, how are you, can I help you, no? OK move on and call me if you need me" - I know sounds OK, but the way he said it without even looking at the customer and kind of waved a hand at them as to say, move on .... they added £200 to the delivery, paid in case the sofas can't fit, but the guy never said this is the case, I had to ask. and even then he barely explained anything... Like some of the other reviews, very sales driven, without the care to the customer. I don't think all sales people within the shop are like that (at least I hope not), but the two we dealt with, kind of taken away from the excitement of buying a new sofa... Let's hope that from now onward, the customer service will be perfect... :)))

We were looking for some sofas and ended up buying those and a kitchen table. The prices were too good to miss, so we also purchased a couple of sideboards too. The quality of the furniture was outstanding. The staff were all very friendly and there was no hard sell tactics, just friendly advice when we needed it. I have to give a special mention to Marika who looked after us. She was professional, friendly and very helpful indeed. A fantastic shopping experience and I would recommend SCS to anyone that is looking for great value for money coupled with an excellent customer experience. What lovely staff in this shop. Genuine people and no hard sell. Had a lovely girl Beatrice serve us. Not new in the store but early days selling the furniture. She was wonderful. I would highly recommend taking a look. Better service than DFS, who on going back a few times had an eye on a suite. When we went to buy sales man tried to fool -con us into a shop soiled one. More fool them.

Found a great bargain at ScS on a sof and armchair. The sales rep was very helpful, not pushy, but answered all our questions and sorted our buy now pay later deal very quickly. Would have been 4 stars, but the delivery team was poor, swearing and cursing inside my home and even dropping the chair when unloading from the van, not very professional at all.

SCS were great when we went sofa shopping, they showed us a few of the different options and talked us through all the prices and then left us to decide and discuss on our own. When we decided to go for one of the sofas, they brought us a cuppa and talked through the forms. I will say you will have to be prepared for the full sales techniques. And the communication when waiting for the delivery wasn’t the best. Otherwise, would certainly lay recommend!

Was greeted by a very polite young man told me of all in store promotions and of layout of store and assured he would be on hand if advice was needed . My daughter and Granddaughter s were with me it was so nice to be able to browse and no pushing sales person when we found the sofa and chair we wanted our nice young man came over and showed us the colours and were there was a sofa in colour we liked still no pushing to buy just very helpful . We went to some other stores in area but none as perfect as the one in Scs so I purchased a power chair and the 2 seater sofa all was explained and we left very happy can't wait for March for my new comfortable chair and sofa. The staff give you the time to look around at your own pace but are always on hand to give advice when needed. We visited at the weekend to choose a suite and carpet - Tom was extremely helpful and clearly knowledgeable about the sofas, suites and products available. He was friendly and professional. A fantastic customer experience, I was able to enjoy a coffee whilst deciding between suites. There was absolutely no pressure from staff and we were able to have a good look at carpets and underlay before choosing. Tom and Liam made, in our opinion, what can be a pressured / stressful event hassle free. We're looking forward to our delivery :)

I give this store a 100% rating. Everybody were so very helpful with my enquiry and order. I wasn't very sure on my measurements. So the next following morning a lovely Man came to my house and measured all the required measurements and advised me of the fitters, the best way to save me some money. The Rocker Chair I ordered/purchased from the York Range at the SCS Store in Fosse Park, Leicester, is very comfortable. As I am only 5 foot tall I often find chairs too big for me but it was lovely to find one that is suitable for me. This last Bank holiday weekend we purchased a sofa and chairs from the Fosse Park Store, and took advantage of the 20% off a carpet. The staff were great, gave us quick overview of what was where, then gave us our own space to check things out. When we were ready to choose the sofa and chairs we liked, Ash was very helpful and patient with us going through the various options of colours and styles, until we were happy. We found the same experience in the carpet section, where Kumar assisted us with choosing a great carpet to go with the furniture we had just bought. After being dogged around the shop, pressured into buying a sofa. Which I was there to browse at but really I was in desperate need of flooring. Finally managed to view the carpet section, to which all of the sale assistants then disappeared and when asked for help, told me the price per m. yes. We called into SCS first at Fosse Park in Leicester and was greeted by a smartly dressed young man who guided us regarding Covid and on walking around to the second sofa display was approached by Ash. He was very polite and gave us a detailed description of a Lazyboy power recliner which was gorgeous. We carried on and left going to DFS next where a young girl with a duster and polish in her hand just said 'Hi' then walked away. We left and went to Sofology but didnt stay long and then into Oakland but they were useless hence we went searching for Ash. The overall experience was fantastic and i would highly recommend SCS to all my family and friends. We are so looking forward to our power recliner even though we could not quite afford the Lazyboy. Just ordered our sofa for our new house the staff are so lovely and really help full, we had to request a different arm chair. we chose a different chair from a completely different piece. the sales team arranged this for us in no time and arranged for it to come in the fabric from our chosen sofa, the process was very quick and straight forward we were offered coffee while we waited too. highly recommend Scs in Leicestershire fosse Park

Me and my partner were both looking for a new three piece suite in the new year and found ourselves going back to SCS Fosse Park Leicester ... As it was the only store that had anything we liked I found that the sales assistant that helped us was very courteous and very helpful even offered to make us a hot drink why we made a decision but at the same time also gave us space to think about what we would like to do.. as this was a large purchase and not something you want to rush into as your living room is the heart of the home.
