A fantastic range of high quality locally hand made furniture throughout the store, in Lincoln. All the staff in the store offer a huge range of knowledge of their products, very friendly staff with a no pressure approach. An excellent experience from start to end. A very flexible approach was most welcome. We all need to keep buying locally made products, even made a purchase a short time ago that I took back to Wales with me I highly recommend this store to anyone who needs quality locally made furniture. I brought a bed from Affordable Furniture a couple of years ago and recently decided to get a wardrobe and chest of drawers. Karon remembered my colour of my bed frame so knew the colour to order with my new bedroom furniture.And today it was delivered by two lovely gentlemen and now my bedroom matches perfectly. Excellent advice and customer service by Karen, we ordered during the lockdown and had to place a lot of trust in the company as we ordered via facebook and over the phone - this trust was not misplaced; we are so so happy with the furniture delivered, the delivery guys were great and adhered to social distancing and were well prepared. The furniture has truly transformed our house in to a home, we are going to order more furniture soon and I am so pleased I found this local gem of a company. I would recommend to all, Karen is very knowledgeable and personable.

From experience last year. Good quality furniture, easy to order. Very frustrating issues with communication about deliveries and being told incorrect information which why given 3 stars. Both issues could have been easily avoided, if they had communicated. 1. Was told furniture was ready and agreed delivery date and time. When not arrived as agreed, showroom contacted and advised delivery was on its way. 20 mins later call from factory to say products were not finished and could not be delivered. Very frustrating as had arranged someone to be in to receive furniture and completely different story between showroom and factory. 2. Agreed another date and was told and agreed delivery at 9am. When did not arrive, despite calling showroom repeatedly no-one answered. Eventually factory called and said they did not do 9am deliveries and it would come later that day.

Just taken delivery of my dining and bedroom furniture and I am delighted with the quality and the service. The lady in the shop was very helpful and the delivery drivers were lovely and took great care in my home. Everything was put in place for me and all the packaging was taken away which was a great help. I will be back soon for a new mattress. I started buying furniture and beds from here in 2010 when I moved in to my new property and over the last 9 years I have purchased furniture for every room in my home. The quality and price is excellent, and the service I received was brilliant. I have recently taken delivery of furniture for my spare bedroom, a beautiful solid wood and locally made wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside tables and the furniture is beautiful. The delivery men were incredibly helpful and everything was put in the bedroom where I wanted it, they did this with care and precision. The lady in the shop is always helpful and friendly.

After searching for months for good quality furniture at reasonable prices a friend recommended that I look here. To be honest the name of the shop put me off as I was expecting cheap and nasty furniture but I could not of been more wrong. Excellent range of furniture, nicely arranged in room settings and amazing quality and prices. I am so happy with my bedroom furniture which has been delivered today, I was quoted 6 weeks approx but, as the lady who took the order knew I was desperate as I had just moved in and was living out of boxes, they managed to get the delivery to me in just over 4 weeks. Cannot rave about this local independent business enough. I came in to the store asking for what I thought was the impossible but Affordable Furniture was able to deliver on all counts. I needed two bed frames made to a special size to accommodate two ikea mattresses and I needed them for a specific date as I was going in to hospital for a major operation and needed to sleep in one when I returned home. Delivery date was agreed but I got a telephoned call three days before the agreed delivery date asking if I would like them early as they were ready, excellent!! The delivery men arrived as scheduled, they telephoned when they were en route and were extremely helpful; they put the beds together for me and even helped me put on my bedding as my mobility is not the best. Excellent quality, service and prices.. a company that cares and will go the extra mile to help their customers. Well done.

Called in here after being let down by Living Woods on a delivery of oak dining furniture. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and affordability of the products. I explained to the sales assistant our predicament and she was able to help. Ordered placed on the Monday and dining furniture was delivered and installed for us on the Friday. So I took her, to Affordable Furniture and were welcomed by a young lady who simply asked mum what she want and showed her a range of mattress's. Mum tried two from that was directed to a mattress which would suit her needs. Mum was very happy and impressed. The price was also very reasonable and it was delivered last thing on Friday. It is hard to explain how fantastic this company and in particular Karon is! Nearly 4 years ago we asked them to build a bespoke larder for our kitchen after being let down by another firm. I had a particular style and colour in mind and they went about building my 'vision.' When the unit was delivered is was incredible. Exactly what I had wanted. They matched the colour I requested. But more than that you could tell it was a piece that was going to last. Today I went back in to look for a wardrobe for my daughter's room. Found the fantastic quality all over again but more than that - Karon remembered us! Let's be honest, often in life customer service goes out of the way to make room for extra profit BUT not here. I'm blown away! Our larder is as amazing today as when it arrived, no paint chips or wear and tear despite constant use. Now just trying to decide which wardrobe to go for. Was recommended here by a family member and to be honest I wouldn't of called in to the shop if I had not been told to ignore the name of the shop, as I thought 'cheap and nasty' Boy was I wrong!!! Having recently moved in to a new property I was let down by a large multi national company, as a result I needed two beds urgently; one for myself and one for my elderly mother to sleep on. I arrived with a van just after the shop closed and the member of staff was getting in her car to go home, she kindly asked if I needed any help and when I explained the situation she reopened the shop and allowed me to select from the items available and helped me load the beds in to my van.
