Douglas Mercer and Tom Morris were extremely helpful. Doug took the initial order and was very efficient and courteous and helped us decide on the furniture required. I had to revisit the store to make a minor amendment to the order that was my fault, because I had measured the gap incorrectly. However, Tom was brilliant in amending the order without any fuss. For this reason, I would recommend your company to my friends and family.

What a fabulous place, was greeted by Tony who was very friendly, offered us coffee and told us to just let him know if we needed anything at all, no pestering unlike some other stores. We found the sofa we were looking for and Tony took us through the process of buying very efficiently. He explained every little detail about the sofa and how best to look after it. We purchased the extra upholstery plan which is very good value and found the structural guarantee is 20 years, who could ask for more!! Craig the store manage was excellent in resolving the problem with our mattress and enabled a full exchange. He gave us very good advice in our final choice. Recently bought a mattress/divan base and headboard, friendly staff, hard sell on the insurance which we declined, bought the mattress protector from them only to find it £20 cheaper online... Beware of that! Also waited far to long for a desk to become available for us to complete our purchase.

The experience my mum an I had over the period of two days was excellent.. We purchased two sofas plus a bed and headboard . Went here looking for a couch and was greeted by Theo asking if we wanted any help to give him a shout and asked of we would like a cup of tea. We later approached him about some info on a couple of products and he was more than helpful even though we had him running backwards and forwards. When we chose what we wanted, it was on stock so we could collect it ourselves and he even give us a hand to carry it out! Well impressed with the service and will definitely buy from them again. Jolly good service from this store! As I embarked on a simple trip to Furniture Village one Wednesday afternoon, I did not realise it would be such a joyful expedition! For I was greeted with the friendliest service and offered refreshments; who is this I thought, have I been transported to Harrods?! The name is Darren, he said🕺🏻Very professional, I thought. There was an important looking man loitering in the background. He was also delightful, however he was from Yorkshire, but we didnt hold this against him, it's not his fault, is it? We liked him and we told him so (Hi Pat👩🏼‍🔧). They escorted me around the show room, providing details about many of their finest products whilst my friend got comfortable and proceeded to take an array of selfies. I was just browsing, but before I knew it, Darren the couch extraordinaire had me shooketh with such sterling service that I am now the proud new owner of a shiny new Legend Corner group, and a 3 seater for under the window! No jargon or pushy tactics from our Darren, just good old fashioned customer service with a smile. He was happy to help, as were Pat and Jamie. Jamie is the upbeat one who will dance if you ask nicely. Dazza provided all of the information in a clear and concise manner and explained all of the T&Cs. He was unfazed by my constant questioning and provided me with a tape measure without me having to ask. He also called the manufacturer to check on extra cushion costs. The staff really are outstanding. What a genuinely fabulous experience, for I shall recommend them to everyone. I honestly left a very happy customer. Most importantly, I requested a free spanner, which was presented to me upon exiting the building (see photo). Thanks a bunch chaps, it was a hoot! *Disclaimer: This is a genuine review*

My wife and I were window shopping for a couple of new sofas and after trying big sofa companies and a major furniture supplier couldn't find anything we liked and where annoyed at some of the sales teams approaches. We went to the Aintree store of furniture village and right from the start it was a totally different experience, and, following an initial greeting we were allowed to browse on our own, even though we explained we were only looking around, we were offered tea and coffee. Any questions we asked were answered and we were given all the information we asked for. We had an in depth discussion with Jamie the sales representative on the merits of leather furniture after having been disappointed with our current suite, he took the time and trouble to address our reservations and put our minds at rest to such an extent that we ordered two new sofas. Well worth a visit and not just for the coffee and good conversation.

I am very happy with my purchase of a long footstool, very much reduced in the sale! Salespersons were all helpful, especially the person who attended to my purchase and made sure I received help to get it in my car. The range of furniture at Furniture Village is lovely and varied. I was very impressed. Tea and coffee is available and I was offered one to go!

Just wanted to leave a review to say how fab Theo has been for us today!! Incredibly patient with us as we struggled to find chairs we liked to match the dining table! He was also great with our terrible 2 year old who was running wild in the shop 🙈 Theo was friendly and helpful and despite being new to the job he was very thorough with the sale. We visited the Aintree Liverpool store thinking about buying a bed. The salesperson Darren was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful highlighting the differences between the beds and encouraging us to lie on the beds and asking us to compare the different feel of the beds, no pressure just supporting us and listening to our feedback. We tried different types of bed style and came to a conclusion resulting in us buying a bed. We had been to numerous retailers but none had the range and selection and most important Darren who was excellent.

Went in for a browse as inam currently renovating my house. This store also has a clearance section at the back and upstairs. A few hidden gems and one off pieces still available in there. I came across a mable side board. Brilliant piece of furniture which had been reduced from £2800 to £698!! It was a must buy. However dotted around the shop are other key items just waiting to be snatched up. You may find yourself a cheap piece you need. Oh and the staff were fine. No harassment or commission based selling. Very helpful.

Never visited the store until recently, but was very impressed with the displays, the quality and the friendliness of the staff. We purchased a Display Cabinet, a TV Unit and a Floor Standing Lamp. However, after paying for the items in full we were given a voucher for 10% off another purchase which had to made that same day. It would have been better if we had been given the voucher after the first, or even the second transaction we made, as the 10% could have been deducted from either of these items. As it happened we had bought everything we needed and the voucher was useless, which was very disappointing.

We went into Furniture Village only to find out about a gel matteres and after talking to Darren and trying out several complete beds from one to another and back again Darren suggested that I try the bed that he bought 7 months ago and said that he was really happy with it, also another salesman came past and said that he had this one and had it 2 years, so that sold it for us, it was very expensive but thought it was worth it. Darren was so helpful and spent a lot of time with us

The only reason I gave this 3 stars instead of 5 was that the store was extremely busy, and there did not seem to be enough staff serving. We had to wait a while for an assistant.
