I knew I wanted a bespoke seat for my Trident 660, but couldn’t decide on the style and design, although I knew I wanted something that was slightly more sculptured than the stock seat. I approached Tom and, in the end, decided to give him full control over the design, styling, and materials. After a week the seat came back; I have to say I think the seat looks amazing. I really feel that the new seat is in keeping with style of the bike. Truly stunning craftmanship - I personally think it's awesome.

After following several seat upholsteres for quite some time I decided Tom was the one. His apparent attention to detail seemed to me to be on an OCD level similar to my own. Popped on the waiting list in January, got the instruction to send seat mid July. I knew it would be a long wait but felt it would be worth it. Had a chat with Tom about designs/materials/stitching and logo's etc and all good. A few weeks later I was advised it was ready, I was sent some images and all looked OK. However, when I recieved it the central stripe was thicker at the front than the rear and it just looked a little odd with no stitching. Contacted Tom and he was great, he took the seat back, made sum changes (at no cost) and sent it back within a week. Great..um well it was lots better but the stitching on the panels was not lining up across the seat. When I mentioned this to Tom he said camera angle was playing a part and because I had medical Gel and memory foam it sits diffently. (Was lining up fine on the 1st attempt) same base. I said it's your work and if your happy with that then fine (no reply) My seat is not on his Instagram nor is it on the tagged images (I even made it look ok) Instagram v's reality? Pictures attached for you to make up your own mind on this one. Yes Tom's work is mostly amazing, maybe I was just unlucky, and caught him on an off day. 🤷‍♂️

I first became aware of Tom aka Hurley custom seats and his craftsmanship about 2 years ago. At the time I had a Yamaha MT09 and was blown away by another seat he had made for a customer. I wanted my bike to be unique so I made contact with Tom about a seat. He had recently made a special edition MT09 seat which was available and fitted what I wanted perfectly. What an outstanding experience! I was hesitant to order a custom seat from overseas, but Tom made it an easy, enjoyable, and surprisingly quick process. The seat is exactly what I was envisioning for my Scrambler…beautiful and comfortable! Had my Triumph Thruxton 900 seat recovered and upgraded by Tom. We discussed different leathers, stitching, padding and colour options to arrive at what I think is a beautiful but understated seat which really enhances my bike. It looks incredible and is noticeably more comfortable than in stock guise due to the medical gel he’s put inside. It looks like it was made for the bike. The craftsmanship is top notch. I have a 2022 Honda NC750X and while the seat is a huge improvement on the previous model I wanted to treat myself to a more comfortable perch. I had Tom upgrade it with medical grade gel and memory foam. It is a huge improvement over the oem seat and feels amazing. Point to note, he also added a waterproof membrane as the oem seat did not have one. I wash my bike frequently and although I always use a Bruhl bike dryer it was soaking when he opened it up despite being dry to the touch. I thoroughly recommend Tom for both his top class work and his friendly approachable manner.

Before even getting my bike (Honda CMX1100 Rebel) I had read lots of forum posts about how uncomfortable the seat was going to be so started to research options. There were lots of suggestions for a couple of after-market seats that were crazy expensive, but I also saw a couple of examples of Tom's work, which looked amazing and the prices quoted were much less than the after-market ones so I decided to get in touch with Tom via his web form. The communication from Tom was first class, quick and informative, no pressure to go for any particular option, just enlightening me to the range of options available to me from the basic comfort upgrade to a full-blown custom seat with choice of material, style, colour, stitching, logo etc and even the option of increasing or reducing seat height. Not that it was that much more, but with everything going on with the cost-of-living crisis, my budget wouldn't stretch to a full-blown custom seat, so I had to just go for the comfort option, and I am not disappointed. Initially, the comfort was only slightly better than stock, however, after a few hundred miles, I can honestly say the seat is considerably more comfortable. Also have to mention turnaround time, although I know there is a lot more work goes into a custom seat and we're out of biking season, so guess he doesn't always achieve this, I sent him my seat by parcelforce 24, picked up on the Monday, Tom received it Tuesday, he sent it back to me on Wednesday and I had it on my bike and test ridden on Thursday. I can't recommend Tom enough, he has done an excellent job on my seat and if I get a bonus in my pay this year, I may well be sending it back to him to go full custom (fingers crossed!)

Tom lowered my seat 25 mm on my kawasaki z1000sx he removed the original foam from the seat and replaced it with memory foam and medical gel which also made the seat a lot more comfortable. Between postage and job completion it only too 5 days and it was back on the bike by the weekend it was a pleasure doing business with Tom and I would recommend his services to anyone.

I remember looking and looking for months for a quality shop to make me a custom seat. I went through some local guy here in California because he did one on my T100, but the 2nd time he failed miserably. Somehow, I ran in to Tom's shop on either instagram or through someone on Facebook who referred to his site, and it was match made in heaven. Tom is the real deal and his craftsmanship is top of the line. He has done 2 seats for me and he followed through perfectly to the vision I had. To top it off, he squeezed me in his already booked busy schedule to finish my 2nd seat before the DGR. I highly recommend for any custom seat work. He knows what he's doing. I would like to tell you about my experience with Tom Cosserat at Hurley Custom Seats. Being a fairly tall guy, I have found that most Harley Davidson stock seats leave me a bit close to the ground, especially on longer rides. I have tried a few options on my CVO Street Glide without finding the perfect solution. In the end I decided to go down the custom route. After a considerable amount of research I contacted Tom. After a couple of e-mail exchanges, we agreed a date for the work to start. A few more e-mails from Tom, checking details, and the work of art that used to be a stock “Glide” seat was returned. It came out precisely as we had agreed with a quality of workmanship that is only hinted at on the company website. The spec, design and materials are outstanding with the end result carrying enough of the original CVO styling that it looks classy and integrated with the rest of the bike whilst raising the rider’s portion of the seat the requested 30mm. I cannot recommend Tom and Hurley Custom Seats too highly. Thanks Tom.

A quick search of the Internet and I decided to use hurley custom seats as the website looked very professional and the images of previous work looked impressive. Quick chat with Tom on spec, mostly black no suede with medical gel , but I wanted to give Tom free reign for a one off seat for my bmw s1000r. Totally blown away with the pictures sent over on completion and felt giddy unwrapping them when they arrived. They look even better in the flesh, the contrasting materials with a hexagon theme up the centre and a flash of colour together with absolutely outrageous quality and attention to detail. Late in the day for a review but better late than never. I contacted Tom about 3 years ago about changing my seat as i could not get one online that i needed. I told him i need the seat position moved back a minimum of 3 inches and he assured me this was no problem. Further discussion he recommended the surgical gel pad in the seat for extra comfort which i agreed. Next he discussed the cover and asked if i wanted anything stiched in to it and being a huge Thin Lizzy fan i got him to do the logo in the seat. The whole process could not have been easier and the finished product was way above expection and at a price that was £1k lower than i had been quoted by some U.S. firms. I couldn't recommend Tom highly enough, a total professional and a gentleman to boot . Top notch work , you wont be disappointed.

I approached Tom last year, having seen his work on social media. I usually do a lot of research before using a service or making a purchase. However, after seeing his work I knew straight away that I wanted him to do my custom seat and I’m glad I did. I couldn’t be more impressed, from initial contact all the way through to receiving the final product. Tom was always on hand to help and offer advice on the design, color, stitching, etc, the options are endless. You will see for yourself, check out his work. Anything you want, he can make happen! I have a scrambler and went for a tuck and roll design, custom embroidery with medical gel inserts. The final product far exceeded my expectations. One thing that you could always guarantee with the stock seat is you definitely notice it after a day saddle. So getting the gel inserts is 100% recommended, it will change your riding experience. Plus, as an added bonus the price is in the same ballpark as an aftermarket/replacement seat, so why wouldn’t you get yours reupholstered by Hurley Custom Seats?! I had Tom work on my MT10 seat, anyone that's ever sat on one will know they are really hard and wide meaning it's hard for you to get flat footed if you're shorter.Tom made the seat more comfortable than the factory comfort seat and lower whilst sculpting it to fit me better by slimming it down. It feels like winning the lottery when Tom Hurley agrees to make you a seat and you get to the top of the waiting list. They are all individually hand-crafted, unique and actual works of art. It's one of the few things I've ever bought that I reckon will increase in value. Yes they take a while to arrive but good things come to those who wait. My seat is a super complicated design of brogued leather and Harris Tweed. You have to see it to believe it. Oh, and he has put medical gel inside so Sir's posterior is kept cosy. Amazing. Highly recommended and worth every penny. He's also a very nice guy on the off chance it matters.

Tom has managed to work his magic on a 2016 Ducati Multistrada seat. The issue was, on a long ride out, I'd find yourself sliding toward the fuel tank, and no matter how much I tried, getting comfy just wasn't happening. I'd reviewed comments in a forum about this, which pointed me in the direction of Tom, and after messaging him he confirmed this was something that he could resolve, with a relatively quick turn around. The outcome is brilliant, at a glance, you'd never know that with foam and gel, he's made the seat oh so comfortable, and those longer rides no longer leave me with crushed bits.

Got recommended hurleycustomseats on a bike forum after the seat on my 2020 honda being very uncomfortable after an hours riding but also wanting to make my bike my own. so I spoke to Tom and he gave me a price and time scale which was a couple of months away but worked out well as if would get done late Feb which isn't riding weather I gave him a few briefs and decided I'd have memory foam and medical gel added to the original base and I left the design up to him and what can I say he didn't disappoint its a complete one off and now I'm so much more comfortable.I'd recommend him to anyone wanting to personalise their bike or just make the ride more comfortable.
