House of Twenty did an outstanding job communicating with us about purchasing chairs and having them shipped to the US. Natalie responded to every e-mail in a comprehensive and timely manner. The six chairs, which were extremely well packed and boxed in strong wood crates, arrived in perfect condition. We recommend House of Twenty highly!

I ordered two tan leather sofas for my new house and Natalie was so helpful with organising for them to be stored until I moved in - which was delayed by 6 weeks! When they were delivered one of the sofas didn't fit right in our living room so once again Natalie was on it, organising for it to be collected and returned for a refund. Within the space of a week I had the sofas delivered AND returned, all with very fast and helpful service throughout. The sofas themselves are beautiful and really sturdy (much sturdier than they look!) And in great condition. Can't recommend them enough!

I’ve purchased quite a few things from this shop over the past year or so, and every time I visit there is new stock - unlike some other places where they just seem to have the same things every time you go in. Furniture is fab, but I also love some of the cool extra decoration pieces like this vintage bus blind which I picked up last time! Will be back again soon no doubt.

I bought a table from Natalie, and asked for delivery in 6 weeks (as I was moving). The table delivered as described and on time, and it's beautiful. Natalie's communication was excellent. Natalie also upholstered a headboard for me - again, job done perfectly and on time. No complaints.

Wonderful experience! We travelled down from Leeds to check out the range of leather sofas that we’d seen online and weren’t disappointed. The staff were friendly and patient (we were in the shop testing options for a couple of hours!) & finally decided on a lovely tan leather sofa with matching chair. Both were delivered to us within a couple of days for just £45, delighted with the new additions.

I can't recommend House of Twenty enough. Having stumbled across the website looking for vintage furniture I met Natalie at the warehouse to purchase a beautiful sofa and chair for our house. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and really takes a pride in her work. I am a Project Manager and, based on that experience, have since used House of Twenty to supply me with furniture for some office refurbishments and recommended to friends and family in the area. Her furniture is always excellent quality and she selects a wide range of interesting pieces. I checked out House of Twenty over the weekend on the recommendation of a friend, and I am very glad that I did! Having recently become a home-owner and looking for unique one-off pieces to gradually fill my home, House of Twenty is the perfect place for it. I got to speak with the owner who is super knowledgeable about individual pieces, leaving a genuine impression that the pieces have been curated with a keen eye as they all have so much character. I ended up purchasing a coffee table and a lamp and had to curb my enthusiasm to not go overboard in one go. A place well worth visiting and I will make sure to go back once I have settled in with my new pieces and can see what there is space for next. 😊

A bit tricky to find the shop but worth it - what a wonderful place! We called when we couldn’t quite find the shop last weekend and the lady who answered the phone came out to find us. It’s an Aladdin’s cave inside, full of gorgeous items. We took a vintage armchair home that day and will be back to look for a table and chairs once we have moved to our new flat. New favourite furniture shop in London!

One of my favourite stores in Hackney, beautiful pieces and friendly staff. Lots of hidden gems in the workshop too so worth asking to be shown around when you're there. Delivery has always been fast too, would highly recommend.

Well curated range of midcentury furniture, lovely setting next to the River Lea. Ask to browse their workshop too, they have lots of items waiting to be reupholstered and restored that you canget a first look at. Great place!
