I must admit, I have done a fair amount of research of what type of sofa to buy. I looked into getting an Otto (keep in mind, crazy comfortable but you will sink and your back will suffer a bit). I then decided to go with a large sectional Stella. Lizzie from the Trade team is amazing and worked with my interior designer on what I was looking for. I had an issue with the cushions and Francesco from the Service team was happy to help (a rare thing I notice with many sofa stores in London). He helped me and sorted me a new set of cushions right away. I wouldn't think twice about picking a sofa from their Chelsea store. If you are lucky enough to have Lizzie and Francesco looking out for you, you will be in fantastic hands. Don't waste your time by googling every sofa store in London, these guys are great!

Whilst its fair to say that the sofa we purchased online didn't fulfil all our expectations, we cannot fault the exemplary customer service provided by Nick and Stewart in after sales. They were empathetic, understanding, responsive and non-judgemental in the way they dealt with our feedback. They listened attentively and dealt with the matter in a very objective, transparent and reasonable way. We never felt ignored and communication was effortless. They went above and beyond to address our issue. As a result, our faith and trust was maintained in sofa.com (not always the case with online retailers) and our customer satisfaction was left intact. In short, based on our experience, this is an online retailer that you can buy from in confidence since they value their customers and prioritise their experience/satisfaction above all else.

Excellent place to spend hours choosing cushions and a sofa to put them on. The free biscuits and coffee helps. Good range and excellent quality. We bought a sofa and ottoman from them a few years ago and have been really happy with them, they've put up with three house moves, a house renovation, two slobbery dogs and a mad cat with no adverse signs of wear (the sofa, not the cat).

Huge show room across two floors in large warehouse. Lots to look at can get quite busy at weekends. Child friendly, they have a play area with toys and a TV. Knowledgable staff, offered us hot drinks and left us alone to figure out what we wanted while we browsed the shop. Huge range of fabrics, you can lay them over the sofas to get a better idea of what finish you want.

The customer service was amazing. We were not hassled and were given time and grace to walk round the showroom in our own time. When we asked for information Jane was able to provide very clear answers. We were so impressed we bought two sofa's.

Well worth a visit! The full range of sofas in stunning fabrics along with large size fabric samples to really help you visualize your purchase. You're welcomed with a tea/coffee and biscuits to browse with and the team there were so helpful with design ideas. Team member Ola completely understood what look we wanted and came up with great ideas that I wouldn't have thought of. Ola even gave us money for parking as the parking ticket was running out. The total experience was excellent and we can't wait to get our new sofas delivered!

Went to the showroom on the 7th of June and tried everything that they had. With the exception of the Sligo sofa, nothing was comfortable. It would seem comfort has been sacrificed at the altar of style. Too low or too high. Too hard or too soft. Seats too deep so your feet dangle like a school kids. Enormous sofas to match enormous budgets. They're in the right part of town for that. May suit some, but not us. Still, at least we tried. Build quality not all that either. Will try John Lewis.

Best shopping experience that I have had in a very long time. Great friendly and knowledgeable staff, large showroom and FREE FOOD!!! Their stuff is also really high quality and good value. Would recommend to anyone buying a sofa or bed.

So go and have a look at DFS and IKEA, John lewis and so on then come here. You will be greeted with a lovely warehouse style showroom.. The sales staff (if you want to call them that) all sit out the back and don't bother you they have floor staff that can help you with fabrics and colours all which are available to touch and feel. A fantastic range of sofas and you can have a tea and a choice of biscuits or many biscuits if you like. You get no pressure to buy and they do not offer credit (this is how DFS make their money).. I am sitting on my 3 seater BlueBell brand now and must say its the best sofa I have sat on and owned.. I can stretch right out on it and still space for someone to perch on the end. If you are ready to purchase there and then you can knock on the back office door and let them know you are wanting to buy. The whole sofa buying experience is daunting and yes the DFS stuff is cheap and will fail on you, even their new French Connection range is just a rip off from John Lewis. They don't really negotiate on price but I would say what you pay for is good value but it will be more than DFS.. it will be about John Lewis price and they have a fantastic returns policy which beats the John Lewis "well it depends" approach. Delivery communication is great but despite I did pre-warn of a tight corridor in my flat which meant I had to go for a break down version they accepted the mistake still made me happy with a break down version of my sofa. Highly recommend this place.

Great showroom but not that easy to find. You need to go through the walking gates of Chelsea Wharf, and up through door E to the third floor. Parking is also tricky as very few paid spaces, majority are for residents
