I go here when I want to buy a treaty gift for a girl. They have lots of gifts for girls which will make the girl love you (more?) and put smiles on guys.

To be honest, my experiences here have been very varied... I'm going to be very open about how I've felt / been treated on my visits... I begin by saying that these are all my opinions and perceptions... I've not had any store staff person say anything negative to me... so note my comments in this light, and by all means, form your own opinion when you visit... I don't want to put you off, just share how I've felt at the Westfield Stratford store... On occasion, I have felt as if I've been followed around the store, not to be provided with helpful service, but to be checked out to see what I'm doing, as if I'm being racially profiled - on those occasions, and it's happened more than twice, I've not been asked whether the staff can assist me - I've just noticed that wherever I go, the staff member is right behind me, but not doing anything like tidying a display or restocking or cleaning a shelf... quite odd... and it's such a strange experience, I can't even reach the point of getting upset... I just laugh to myself and prolong my visit even longer to see just how silly it gets... of course, I leave without purchasing anything, because I'm not going to support that type of behaviour, but I'm also aware it probably makes the wait staff feel justified in its behaviour - they "prevented theft" or some nonsense like that... On those occasions, it most definitely feels like "The *White* Company"... I'll add that I'm mixed-race with brown-skin and Indian features... and yes, the store does have an ethnically diverse wait staff... this makes what I've related even more puzzling... I never make a fuss - I just take my business elsewhere - usually to Zara Home, or John Lewis, both a few doors away, where I get similar goods at similar prices, but with a consistently better and high standard of customer care... Not to be unfair, I have experienced the exact opposite at times in-store... on other occasions, it's been completely different - the wait staff have been very helpful and have seemed genuinely interested in providing good customer care and I've purchased nice items which I'm pleased with... I take each visit as I see it... It is what it is...
