Great jobs completed by L&A Art, turned a 70 year old dark-stained Ercol dining table into a light Oak, original wood , beautiful new looking table - photos of before and after - not very impressive photos, but hopefully show how good a job was done. Then took another quite old Ercol table with a heavily stained and marked top and resurfaced it and the extension ‘leaves’ - now looking stunning and just as good as new - possibly even better. Great service, great people to deal with and very good value for money - cannot say more.

This is the second time I've used L&A for a project, and like the first time, I wasn't disappointed. They transformed my tired old front door to something that is now the talk of the street! Project took a couple of days to complete, including the removal of the door, but a temporary door was made and most importantly, was very secure, which gave me peace of mind, particularly as I was away from home at the time. I had no issues whatsoever giving Lolita and Airis the keys/access to my property. They are a genuinely nice team, professional, courteous, talented, trustworthy, and take a real pride in their work. L&A completely refurbished and reupholstered an old mid-century armchair that I inherited from my late Grandpa. They showed it so much love and attention to detail — it is better than I could have imagined. My Grandpa would be so proud! On top of it all, the service was friendly and very prompt. I was lucky enough to ask laartstudio to alter the length of my very sturdy organ bench. I found the people incredibly professional and skilled. The finished bench is far more beautiful then it was when new. The top is now in the most beautiful piece of solid oak. It's worthy of standing in the most beautiful church or cathedral. I found them honest and anxious to get the job done well. Service was fast and the price very reasonable especially considering the quality of their work. I would love to use them again.

What a fantastic job L & A Art Studio have done on restoring our round mahogany Rent table . It was in dire condition with a very damaged leather top . It is now a beautiful piece of furniture with a new leather top and all the inlay has been uncovered . We had 3 pieces of furniture restored brilliantly. One was an old teak chest which was covered in thick brown varnish. This was removed by hand and the wood restored and lacquered to show the colour, the grain and the beautiful carvings. I have the after pictures but wish I’d taken some before to show the contrast too. I did not even know it was possible. I am so grateful to have this piece that reminds me of my childhood again. Fantastic piece of work, thank you so much.

We had two items of furniture, one a rocking chair 100 years old beautifully and carefully repaired. Taken one evening and delivered back 2 evenings later. No charge for collection and delivery. Reminded me of the Repair Shop on TV as the chair had sentimental value and memories. Nice to deal with people who show a love for furniture and treat it with respect. Also had a Skovby dining table french polished. Again a beautiful job, quickly done and very reason price. The table again was collected and delivered and I was told what to do if it had not been returned in 2 weeks, but 5 days later it was returned with a beautiful stain free surface. Really pleased as the table is £1500 to buy. Need I say more about such excellent work!

I recently contacted L & A Art Studio to ask if they could respray and add new handles to a set of bedroom drawers and a sideboard. They collected both pieces of furniture and 2 weeks later delivered them back to me.
