Lady Bay Retail Park branch: Knowledgeable sales assistant who was welcoming and accommodating. Wide selection of carpets available so that we were able to compare and chose our favourite. The high quality underlay swayed our decision to not go with a rival supplier. Carpet layer advised of when he would arrive and worked quickly. This is the 2nd time that we've used SCS for carpets and we will use them again if we need any more floors carpeting.

Purchased our sofa from the Ladybay Retail Park store and found exactly what we wanted. The member of staff was very helpful and knowledgeable and we did not feel like we were pushed into anything very nice experience. Would recommend the store.

Poor choice of sofas. Sofas we bought previously lasted around 5 years before cushions lost their shape and were uncomfortable. Fabric lasted well.

Nearly walked out but I stayed n purchased .... at the end the service was good....... but due to my attire I felt snubbed at first but when asked why the affluent couple behind got guided ( I was pointed in rough direction ) I was happy with the response....

Great choice and competitive prices. Loses a star because there were technical issues with our order which meant we were left hanging about in the shop for over an hour.

Great delivery service, very helpful and friendly. No problem with getting a recliner unit and armchair (which came in 8 different pieces) up to my first floor flat. Not to mention the access to the flats is quite difficult also. Still waiting on a missing cleaning kit as that has not been delivered with the sofas but I’m sure this will be resolved soon.

We called in to just have a look at some of the sofas to see our options, if it's one thing I don't like its pushy sales people I like to look first then ask questions, but the minute we walked through the door there was a women asking us questions I said I'll have a look first and ask her questions after she said ok we walked round and went upstairs and she followed us still asking questions I got irritated and couldn't get out the shop fast enough not only was she trying to push a sale but went on about this women had this sofa and that man had this in a different colour her friend had one from another shop and it wasn't good I get they earn a commission but by christ she got on my nerves then tried to offer us a deal on the way out of the shop but in her next breath said she couldn't promise anything I'm not that stupid to fall for that sales pitch on a sofa over 2 thousand pound that don't come in a colour I want .This shop isn't for me but its each to their own

Store manager was very helpful, the carpet I wanted has been discontinued but he was able to find one very similar from a picture I already had. From my previous experience the fitting is very quick and simple. Everything was fully explained to me in detail and was able to answer any questions I had.

Great experience. So happy me and my Mrs decided to go to lady bay, the staff was great very laid back. We were very well received by Niel, one of the shops advisers and guided us after finding out what we needed. Answered all the questions and the ones he didn't know the answer for he found out while we were there. Got a great deal on some sofas and they were delivered on the agreed day without any damage. 4 stars instead of 5 as the manager tried to sell me a sofa protection product for a reduced price, which I said no to. When it came to paying for the sofa, he then said 'fine I'll do it for £100 for protecting all the sofas, you can have it for a £100' , which I declined again. Pushy sales...Begs the question how much the actual sofa protection costs

Staff in Nottingham branch was not that friendly, but its ok, nothing against. We wanted to buy three more sattee's and two coffee tables but we did not find very comfertable or very cooprative staff, so we bought onle one sattee and ghen bought other three from Dfs. Stass was more cooprative and friendly there so we bought from there. Thanks K Sood

We went to SCS with something in mind. We found the sofa straight away. We love lazyboy, well made and so comfortable! We were looked after by Yvette. She was very knowledgable. We have bought many sofa’s and chairs from SCS and will always be our first choice. Great service and great sofas. We can’t wait for our new Lazyboy corner sofa with console to arrive!
