We played the signature course today what a course the greens are in the best condition and roll fast,the fairways were in good condition as well ,there's alot of different holes on the course with some tricky par 3's surrounded with water. Only £22 on Saturday we will definitely be going back to try the masters course.👍🏌‍♂️

Great club with two very good 18 hole courses, becoming more and more established. Friendly staff and easy to book online. Plenty of buggy’s. The signature course is good, best suited to beginners and intermediates, the Masters is also good but is a bit more challenging. Watch out for the Canada geese… you might get a birdie! Recommended!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our first visit here & we played the signature course yesterday which really impressed us amateurs & so far the best course we've all played.. The 17th is beautiful along with some tricky greens its well worth a visit & priced fantastic. Two of us hit our first ever sub 100 scores so proper happy!!! (Duffed a few chips or would've been lower 90s!) We'll definitely be back for more & big thumbs up!

We played the Masters course which was in very good condition and a decent course which can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. You won't find better value for money. There is also another course available. Good views and plenty of parking space.

Woodlands is a 2 course club open to the general public, we played the signature course which is rated as the best one however the Masters is also a good course. £20 a round, you cannot go wrong. It does get busy but a 4 ball will be round in just over 4 hours with the course fully booked. Recommended.

Good golf at a great price. I've played both the Master's and the Signature courses and enjoyed them both. The Signature in my opinion is more interesting and challenging. I'd recommend either course for the price. Pay and play during the week is £20.

Really nice course (signature)with a variety of challenges spread throughout...im a high hacker but managed a par or 3 and can see how a couple of holes were risk and reward. Greens are pretty quick and in good condition....good value too!

I played the course last Friday after a lot of rain. It was in immaculate condition. The pro shop looked after us well and reserved a buggy for my friend who has a bad knee. All in all it was excellent value for money - just wish my golf had been better

I really love both the course's here the signiture course in my opinion is more challenging with less water compared to the Masters but there are some very well positioned obstacles that make it a worth while game. Both courses are also very well maintained with some fast paced,undulating greens making for some interesting putting. Woodlands is Well priced and popular so can get very busy especially at the weekend which is the only downfall I could find, but some really good people play here and it's quite a relaxed and friendly environment same goes for the staff! Highly recommend a game here so grab your clubs and head down.

Considering the rain we have just experienced over the weekend the masters course played very well,slightly boggy in places but the greens were very good for the amount of use that they get £20 well spent and will be going again, well done Woodlands greenkeepers👍😃

Played the Signature course yesterday and it's in great nick. For 'serious' golfers this is a short, but very interesting course beautifully maintained....no such thing as a straight putt here! Also, dress is fairly relaxed but don't let that put you off. A snip at £20, I will definately return.

Choice of two 2 18 hole courses, the Masters and the Signature. Both are maintained to a good standard and offer excellent value for money. Overall a very good facility. There are a few things that let it down, the pro shop has all but disappeared and they don’t make full use of the of the club house, it’s a tin of larger from fridge rather than a pint of draught from the bar. The only other thing that lets it down is the lack golfing etiquette around the course, slow players often don’t offer to let you through but will happily spend their 5 minutes looking for a mishit ball.

Played a few nice courses this year. Woodlands greens are, by a long way the best I've played, like putting on carpet. Both courses are fantastic. I challenge anyone to find better value for money.

Two great courses that are well looked after. Joy to play here, but watch out for the water hazards. I always carry extra balls because I end up sinking two or three balls in the lakes at some time during the round!

Loved the course, this could be the best value course I have ever played. It is in great condition and very challenging. I've played both 18 hole courses and both are tough with plenty of water to keep you thinking. It's certainly a course to plot your way around. One thing that could be improved is distance marker posts as they are invisible unless you walk over one in the fairways but for 16 a round in the week this is a bargain

Two cracking golf courses, hospitality was great for the society day visit. Food was OK too. Would recommend as a great place to visit for a golf society, deals for playing the courses are fabulous. Both courses are kept in a good condition too.

I learnt to play golf many years ago at Thornbury. Woodlands is the first golf course I have played and I was really impressed. I played on the 14 hole masters course which delivers good value for money. The greens were in perfect condition and the staff were very friendly. I felt the first 7 holes were much easier than the second seven but maybe my game just dropped dramatically. The holes could do with some improved signage to the next tee as myself and my friend were finding ourselves getting a little confused on a couple of holes. The course was more challenging than what I am used to at Thornbury due to more more water hazards and undulating fairways. But I am by no means good at golf. The only thing which is slightly disappointing was the roar of the motorway. But this will be a cracking course once it has time to mature. I look forward to my second round on the masters course.

You will NOT get better golf for your fee!! Remember its has just been completed so in two years time this will be the best place to pay and play golf in the area!
