Reviews of Murrayfield Golf Club
Nice layout, a hilly course, glad I had an electric trolley. Had heard great things, I was disappointed, thought it would have been better than it was, even at this time of year (March) but having said the green fee was reasonable.
Food was lovely ,friendly staff, lovely atmosphere
I was there for a Seniors golf match
Nice golf course in good condition, quite a few hills but you get some great views of Edinburgh.
Brilliant golf course, with great Clubhouse facilities and catering. Well respected Professionals with excellent range of merchandise.
This is the place I work for but its a members only golf club but other guest are more than welcome to come play and also to eat.
Excellent organisation, great course, good clubhouse. Great views out on the course.
The family had a lovely lunch with excellent service.
Lovely golf course and welcoming clubhouse with good facilities.
Great golf course great views and great food what else can one ask for
Friendly club, not the longest course but in good condition and amazing views of Edinburgh
I wasn't there. I was at Murrayfield Stadium watching rugby.
I wish Google maps would get their act together, I've told them numerous times.
Nice club. Great bar/restaurant overlooking the course. Decent course with some great views over Edinburgh
Lovely course. Nice Clubhouse and lovely food.
Lovely evening's golf. Great course, great weather, great views and great company.
The food was good...always enjoy a visit.
Cracking course with some challenging holes. Nice traditional clubhouse with friendly staff
Love this place!! It's a high class establishment with great service.
Number 1 recommendation.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and location.
Great course with friendly staff
Nice looking place still to try the food or the course
Lovely course in excellent condition
Great course for all, short but very demanding.
The course was immaculately presented, especially the greens. I also personally have played in the Gents Foursomes / Greensomes for 40 years and loved the convivial atmosphere and friendships I/we have built over all these years in the Clubhouse. Unfortunately, this atmosphere in the clubhouse was removed a few years ago when they stopped the free ' refreshments' at the 10th, where golfers met and exchanged good banter. The refreshments have been returned but sadly, the banter hasn't.
Great city centre course, stunning views.
Excellent food in the club dining room.
Excellent meal-good service.
Good challenging course.
Very nice lunch
Tier the best way to do do it is at least one one one one one

Lovely course
Outstanding everytime.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Excellent facilities and location.
Fantastic!
Expensive club
Played here in July 2022. The staff is very friendly and we were still invited as guests to visit the clubhouse. The Parkland course is hilly and partly designed with blind shots. Basically, it's fair to play, there are wide landing zones. Unfortunately there is no signage to the next tee, so we spent some time looking for one hole. There is also no driving range, only 3 net stops.
All in all, a nice, quick round of golf, completed by two people in 3.5 hours.
Beautiful course, very well set out with excellent mix of pars of varying length. Greens and tees all immaculate. Club house is beautiful inside and very friendly staff.
The club very kindly gave public access to the grounds during lockdown. As someone without a garden, it was wonderful to spend time in green space with ample room for social distancing. Beautiful views. Thank you very much Murrayfield Golf Club 🙏
I've been meaning to write this review for almost a year.
With travel and the world almost ending, it's been hard to get around to writing this review. But as I pulled out a Murrayfield tee out of my suitcase, I was reminded yet again.
Mike, in the proshop, made me feel right at home. I was visiting from the US, and only been golfing for a bout 2 years, but i could NOT pass up a chance to play somewhere in Scotland. I was pretty nervous at first, but right when Mike answered the phone, I knew I made the right choice. I was worried I would ask the "stupid" questions, but never made me feel like an outsider. You could tell he was genuinely excited for me to get out on the course, and that's why i'm writing this review. If Mike is there, or reading this, I'd like to thank him for making that round and experience one to remember for the rest of my life. Cheers!
Great course, good condition. A few quirky holes, good day !
Lovely Building with good food and attentive staff I would give it 10 out of 10. It's just a pity I don't play golf.
