Very nice course, relatively short but a good variety of holes, major downfall was the majority of holes were winter greens on a really nice day and well before winter has even hit us.

I really enjoyed my round at Clober, despite losing on match play. The course is well laid out, with lovely surroundings and some beautiful views from the top of the hills. The holes themselves have a good variation of elevation changes, length and dog legs. Quite challenging. Hats off to the green keepers too, the course is very well kept. It really would be a shame if they went ahead with plans to sell some holes to housing developers, as rumoured.

Very impressive little golf course. Played it July 2020. It was in impressive condition. Well maintained and presented. Greens probably weakest part of it, though a minor criticism. Thought they were a wee bit slow. It's a tightish little track with no less than 8 par 3's. One mi or criticism is signage directing golfers esp around 15/16th....guess members wouldn't have that proble. Also car park is small and tight but parking around the area is fine. Went through GokfNow....good day out and value for money.

I am a member of 'Royal Clober', so it may not be a surprise that I rate it highly. I had four main reasons for choosing the Club: # It is not too long, at just under 5,000yds. This means that, even at my advanced age, I can play a complete round every day. # No two holes are alike, and include eight challenging par-3s. # It's only 3 mins drive from my home. # The membership is particularly friendly.

Good course was playing okay even though the greens were spiked and had to play off the first cut..Will goback in the summer.Really friendly members...not to mention the halloumi burger in the 19th which was top notch..Overall well worth a visit.
