Reviews of Electric Thrill

Took a squad of kids to electric thrill. Had a interesting day out, the arcades are enjoyable and a total money pit, there's two full sized pool tables that the kids enjoyed playing. The mini golf was fun, you can get wtidt bands to show your score unsure if it was due to our large group or it is extra we didn't have this option. It was still a great day course take 20 mins max 10 if you rush and there is no need to rush! It's a very chilled out place!

Excellent experience for children and those who are still children at heart.
My husband and I had a date night here, we played both of the mini golf courses, which are excellent fun and very creative.
We each had a waffle cone ice cream which was amazing.
There is a very good variety of arcade machines for younger children and teens.
There were a couple of gambling type machines for adults but personally I appreciate the fact that there are more "games" machines than gambling ones.
Toliets are individual unisex ones, meaning that there are 10 little stalls each with a toilet, sink and dryer. They are very clean.
Defo be going back 👍

Grandkids loved the crazy golf and was reasonably priced but too much arcade amusement machines in same location. Can be seen as an early temptation to get kids into a gambling habit to spend cash on machines that are quick to swallow any cash they may have.

I kind of hate these places, but the kids had a blast so that's the priority. The mini golf was fun and well organised with scannable score bracelets. They had a wide range of arcade games and the kids had lots of fun getting the tickets, though you needed a huge amount to get anything. The cafe was good, the bubble Waffles are definitely a share portion, too much for one person.
In practical terms, they had no lockers, but the loos were clean and the parking was free. They had a ramp so it's accessible to a buggy/wheelchair (loos not as accessible because of non-auto open doors). The staff were also really helpful.

It’s very good here the holes are good for mini golf. Your better doing 18 than 9.
Arcade is fantastic! The clawee machines are easy! Worst thing about it is that the other machines are ten pence ones instead of 2p ones. So you can easily spend a fortune. Some holes have lights on the outside hanging off and they look a bit run down. Other than that it was fun and I’d go back! 😀

Place is pretty cool and the golf is ok but the hazards are a bit pointless. It would have been a great wee night out with the family but none of the staff told us how to record our final scores on the golf with the digi watch. The general manager tried to find them but when he didn't he never seemed that bothered about it. ,I had to make scores up to appease my kids. The 4 way air hockey is tremendous though.

First time there with the family,it was good plenty to do for the kids and have fun, golf was great, good laugh and cheap.
Food was lovely but we had to wait a while for it
No motivation. And no help to speed things on

Such a fun place, they have a wide variety of arcade games and their mini golf is so fun with the option to keep track of the scores, very reasonable prices + really friendly staff! Also have an ice cream parlour up the back which is amaze

Really enjoy the games here. Good variety. the reason I have given one star less is because the machines constantly jam or break and you are looking for staff

It would be much better for the Penny Falls to have 2p machines but there is none only 10p machines which no one is playing!

Booked at party at electric thrill for my sons 9th birthday with 9 friends , was great from start to finish, Kyle who hosted the party was great so good with the kids, they loved the golf, and really enjoyed the food and ice cream , the extra tocuhes like the glow sticks and candy floss was a brilliant, defo worth it and will be back.

Fun mini golf. Good way to spend an hour with the kids. Large arcade area also which kids enjoyed.

Was great fun. Visuals and music were great with loud music. Some interesting golf holes. Recommend going when quite rather then whens it busy as waiting for people to finish their putts before you can start your next hole can be a little annoyin. But overall Kids loved it and I enjoyed it. Arcades and cafe inside next to it.

The kids loves the crazy golf and the arcades. Would warn against letting younger or nervous kids use the 4D zombie one though.

Love it here, gutted I didn't get the guys name who helped us, he was fantastic, went supporting someone and he communicated everything to the individual, full experience great fun, only downfall, I lost 😢 still got a lollypop so happy days 😀 …

Good fun in the spacious arcade area for adults and kids alike and even more fun playing crazy golf. Delicious ice cream parlour in the rear to top off a great afternoon with the kiddies

Not the cheapest night out between two rounds of mini golf, the arcade and the dessert bar but everyone had a good time and it killed a couple of hours. Arcade has contactless coin machines which is handy and there is plenty of parking as it's in an industrial estate.

A great way to spend a couple of hours with the kids. Lots of different arcade games for all ages and big enough to not be crowded. No need to book just walk in and play. Cafe on site but the prices are expensive. We did not play the crazy golf probably next time.

I had high hopes for Electric Thrill, I was hoping it would be somewhere to regularly take my 3 boys, however, I can't help but feel disappointed. A family ticket is for 4 people, there's 5 of us though, so it was £25 for essentially 25 minutes. There are 2 course's, both 8 holes, however, you only get to play one of them for the £4.95 per person. If there's availability, you can book both for £7.95pp. I felt the Galactic course that we did was poorly designed and not much fun, the pirate mini golf at M&D's is better. The kids, who are 8, 12 and 16 enjoyed it but they wanted to play the next 9 holes, however, as the Gaming themed course was fully booked we couldn't. I was quite glad actually as it would have been nearly£39 for us to play them both!
Once we'd finished playing, we went into the arcade. Between the kids, we spent another £30 🤦♂️ There's a decent choice of machines, enough to keep the kids entertained, however, there was a few issues with some not working or jamming. There is a cafe/diner but we never tried it. The last point I'd make is, the place was reasonably busy but there were loads of people not wearing a mask, very few seemed to be bothering. There was an announcement over the tannoy reminding people to wear them, however, it appeared to fall on deaf ears. With the speed that Covid is spreading, that was really disappointing. There is sanitiser throughout, however, a couple were empty. There is also a carpark but this service's the softplay and the other buildings too, there's not even close to being enough spaces so like many others, we had to park on the road.
I'd maybe go back again if it was the one of the kids birthday but it won't be a regular occurrence.

Busy car park. Kids enjoyed the crazy golf. Spent lots of £ in the amusements. Cafe is over priced and lacks choice.
