N. C.Absolutely cracking course and club. Stunning views and a polished and varied 18 holes. Recommended as a standalone alone visit and definitely part of any Highland golf trip.

s. m.Big thanks to Rob and Gavin. Expert advice and some great deals to be had in the pro shop. Some great banter on the practise putting green with the locals. Will definitely come back for a game once we're a bit better at the game as it looks like a beautiful course.

You need to be a member to eat here, however you can get a temporary membership, which is cheap.
If you're looking for a place with great views over the Moray Firth in a relaxed environment with good food and friendly service then I'd highly recommend it.
J. L.Really good golf course! Super windy! If you mis-hit your ball and land off the fairway, it’ll be another ball for you! The bushes eat balls. But the course is absolutely beautiful. You could probably see the dolphins off the point on the par 3 by the lighthouse. Would do it again!
N. H.We are not golfers but it was convenient for a Sunday lunch as we were staying at the nearby caravan site. Booking is essential. You will be charged once at the bar for entry to the club as a social member (£2) but be careful they don’t do it a second time as they did with us! Food is ok and staff friendly. Be aware that the Sunday lunch menu does not have starters but you can pick a basic dessert. Not dog friendly I’m afraid.

It is Fathers Day so a steak was ordered as a treat. It was very good. My wife's sea bass was also enjoyed. Looks a nice course but we don't play golf.
It's the 15th oldest golf course in the world and designed by James Braid. It has a fabulous setting in the shore of the Moray Firth, opposite Fort George.

A. R.Absolutely fabulous. Superb location and course playing great for the time of year. As to the reception we received on arrival as first time visitors, it was excellent. Great Pro shop with loads to choose from, the lunch menu whilst slightly limited for January was great, as was the service and quality. Pity some other bigger clubs don't offer food and service on a Monday... Yes even on a Monday.. well done to all the staff who made our day out a memorable one. Looking forward to going back.

O. W.Big fan. Well kept fairways and beautiful views. The greens are quite small across a lot of holes and the gorse is pretty thick (very easy to lose balls!) We were blessed with good weather and low wind but imagine this can be an incredibly tricky course for mid to high handicappers when it's blowing.

Double check! We are talking outstanding scenery, and dolphins in the sea just off the fourth green for goodness sake. Did I play to my Handicap? You bet I did! So what are you waiting for? Book up for next year now. It won't be a hidden gem for long.

I never thought I'd say this but I've been on lads golfing holidays many a time but today was the most fun I've ever had on a golf course..........and it was with my 9 year old!

You can get a variety of food here and a shuttle to visit the dolphins. Timed right you will easily see them jumping out of the water.

We sought shelter here and the staff/ members made us most welcome and served us all food in a very efficient and friendly manner. 4 of us returned to play the course next day, the course being a beautiful one with many interesting holes and beautiful views. Once again the welcome from staff was fabulous and the clubhouse has a very cosy and friendly atmosphere. Well worth a visit, or two!!

A. S.Great course, staff were very pleasant and helpfull ( we received a 50% discount for being from an associated James Braid course ( Elderslie ). The course is very well kept and a challenge to anyone as it's tight at parts but very well matched for the stroke index. would certainly recommend to anyone to give it a bash.

At certain times, we see dolphins a few meters from us and as far as the eye can see, which returns according to the tide to feed on salmon. Unforgettable show. Magnifique et excellent camping dans une baie. On y vois à certaines heures des dauphins a quelques metres de nous et a perte de vue qui rentre selon la marée pour se nourrir de saumon. Spectacle Inoubliable. Prevoir vêtements chaud meme en ete et un sandwich car ça dure longtemps. Je recommande vivement . Il vaudrait mieux réserver le camping
