What a great course. It is not long but a test for any golfer. The course was immaculate, great greens and beautifully cut fairways. Despite so many trees lost to storms it is still one of the prettiest courses you could play. Very friendly pro shop and members. Front nine is beautiful and tree lined, most of back nine more open but still beautiful. Highly recommended.

Our visit for Open Mercedes Day was fantastic 30th July 2017.

The grass was well cut, perfect for putting. I actually putted a perfect birdy on this beautiful course. There were also many trees here. They were very well cut and nice. The golf clubs that I used were also very good quality and j could use them very well and that is the best of luck. However I am not sure if you want to see the attachment on the gold clubs. Around good course to putt on 🤘

My wife and I travelled down from the Falkirk area to play the course today and we weren't disappointed, it was in fantastic condition, fairways and greens are up there with the best we've played this year. The pro was really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. We highly recommend this course and will definitely be back. The food in the clubhouse after our round was tasty and a healthy sized portion, and because the weather was so nice we were able to sit out on the balcony which overlooks the 1st tee and 18th green to eat it. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating, thank you for a great day out.

Found this little gem of a course while staying in The Borders. Played with my dad and although he's getting on a bit he managed to get around the rolling hills and fairways! Beautifully kept course and a great test for any golfer.

Now I have played a lot of golf in lot of places both in the UK and abroad in Spain America and teneriffe and as you would expect they vary in quality and price etc particularly the championship ones like close house, catalunia etc, but today I found this gorgeous course tucked away in the Scottish Borders. It was immaculate and to be fair I got lucky with amazing weather. Not too short and not too long and undulating without being too hilly. I loved it and the course has gone straight into my top 5 favourite courses. It was one of the most enjoyable rounds I have ever played. I will be coming back. Best £27 I think I've spent on golf.

Terrific golf course. No 2 holes are the same. Can be a little susceptible to heavy and prolonged rain, but a great place to visit for a game. Superb pro shop and club house too

Been up at coldstream for a weekend of golf at Hirsel Golf Club, the course was in fantastic condition and was tough but very very good to play on, not a lot of room for mistakes on some of the tight holes they have. The staff at the club from the lads in the pro's shop to the bar staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for us all through the weekend, the food that they put on for us was second to none, and the accommodation arranged through the club was fantastic too, all in all a great weekend and we will definitely be back, thank you Daniel for sorting us all out your a top man Ali.
