P. G.What a course. Very welcome to play in the dry as previous years we have been soaked to the skin. Very good condition, small but friendly clubhouse.
g. p.Golf course challenging as it climbs steadily up to the top, with stunning views. Course in great condition and a Thai banquet served up in the clubhouse at the end, by the club steward's wife was perfect..well worth a trip.
A. B.Been going to Castle Douglas since 2000. Kirkcudbright is our favourite course, always made welcome by staff and locals we meet on the course, hope to be going in May again this year.
j. w.Played twice in the last week. Very welcoming club from both members and management. The course covers a wonderful piece of land with stunning views. The layout has many varied and interesting holes with a number of blind teeshots and second shots. Course management is a must as the rough is lethal. Overall condition was good with greens putting better than they actually looked. A good course to play and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Played alone but with help from the shot saver booklet (£2) I managed my way round.
It was ladies day when I played, both groups of ladies playing in front invited me to play through and we’re very friendly and briefly chatted.
Everyone I spoke to staff and players were all very kind and friendly.
Will defiantly return if I’m ever through this way again. 🏌🏽
S. F.Several of the holes criss-cross each other. Nice and short course with under 5100 yards, but don’t let that fool you. Getting a golf cart is recommended if you want to enjoy the hills, view and the course. Great Thai restaurant within the clubhouse.

B. J.Course in really good condition, fairways cut to a nice height and edges well defined. Greens a touch on the slow side but running true. A warm welcome greeted us and a few hints and tips were given to help us find our way round. All in all a good day was had. To finish the game off we had a beer and a couple of spring rolls freshly made which were excellent. Four stars because no draught ale.
G. M.Played there last week - the course is an absolute treat and the welcome was really friendly. It was in great condition and the views from the course are stunning and were topped off when we got a close up of some red kites. If you are in the area well worth a visit. Top tip is to buy the course planner for 2 pound. Another bargain. You won't be disappointed.
