Didn't play golf I was playing footgolf. We get to play these wonderful golf courses. This one was no different, great course and the staff were excellent. Really good menu to choose from, pre ordered lunch and was made in good time. Course vi felt was prity long but I am old 😄. Really good course so I would recommend to all golfers.

Fantastic test of golf, course is playing really well. Not the longest by any means but very memorable and proof courses don't need to be 7000yard monsters to be a test,play it you won't regret it.

I played my round on Thursday 25th of August. I drove from Manchester on a day trip to Moffat. I've played it many times. The course was beautiful (as always) and the greens were the best I've seen them in 8 years of visiting. Congratulations to all involved at Moffat Golf Club. ⛳️ x

I found this a very good course a little hilly but nothing to exhausting the course was in very good condition and its looked after the club house is very well situated ad there are some stunning views looking from the front of the building

Played here last week for my pals 50th birthday and the course was fantastic. Not only the views but the course condition. The staff were extremely welcoming and couldn't do enough for us to make the day a memorable one. I would highly recommend this course and for you to have a go at the Eagle challenge on the 18th. There are so many memorable holes on this course.

Played here on our way home from Edinburgh to Southport today. Moffat GC is just off the A74M. It should not be missed. The staff and members made us feel very much at home. The course is really well presented which befits the gorgeous scenery, the views are magnificent. The playing area does have some very generous fairways and a few trying ones.....the rough is, well rough....no one like the rough. It is a brilliant place to be, actually the golf gets in the way of looking around and taking it all in. Don't miss out, go and spend the best 3.5 hours of your life. I am 76+ and I needed a buggy, my playing partner is 71 and he walked the course.

Played yesterday and its a cracking little course with some quality hole lay outs. The par 4 18th is a hole like no other. If you are up that way its a must play.

Great course , short but challenging. Clubhouse & facilities are great. What’s not so good , round finished after 5pm , we were looking for a snack & a drink, the clubhouse was all locked up , very disappointing.

Very well kept Golf course which is also well run by the officials and volunteers and if your game is not at its best, the views will keep you calm and bring you back for another round.

I played this course for the first time in July this year and was immediately taken by it. The quirkiness of some of the holes, the design and layout is Ben Sayers design at his best. I played a further 5 times, enjoying not only the Golf but the most excellent homely , genuine service levels by every member of staff we encountered. So much so, I have now taken membership. Exceptional value for money, and a rare course where, even when I have a poor round, I always enjoy the course. Truly is the Jewel of the borders in Golf . Well done to all at Moffat Golf Club

Great challenging course with some stunning views from different parts looking around the local hills. Although the course wasn't quite at its best yet all courses are the same at the moment catching up after recent weather. Great staff, 100 % effort from them will definitely make a return visit.

Played today. What a great wee course. Plenty of variety and interesting holes that make you think about every shot. Course in really good condition too and excellent service in the clubhouse before the game. If you're after an inexpensive but enjoyable round then definitely give Moffat a try.

My hubby and I booked a last minute tee time with Fiona who could not have been more helpful. To say we had a really fun day would be to underestimate the quirkiness of this golf course…we loved it so many different things to think about! I was thrashed by my hubby but still cam away saying next time we are in the Borders we will definitely be back. Thanks to all

Great golf course. Well maintained and very picturesque. Played here after a period of heavy rain and while it was soft underfoot at some holes most of the course had drained very well. Very friendly welcome from young girl behind the bar who dealt with our booking. Look out for their signature 9th hole and be prepared to get the heartbeat going into overdrive on the path up to the green. All in all a great days golf on offer at Moffat

What a wonderful course! Honesty box and cards laid out for those (like me) who turned up outside of working hours. £20 for a round and worth every penny. Not a long course but perfect proof that good and interesting design beats length every time. Hilly course so be prepared to do some hiking, perfect course for a small light carry bag and just hit it and follow! Great views, well worth a play if you are passing, course was virtually empty when I played and was able to get round in 2hrs 40 mins with ease.

Lovely course; every hole has character and makes you think; and pretty much all of them are reachable in regulation by the ordinary club golfer. Bunkers in excellent condition, greens too. Everyone I met there was very friendly. Worth a special trip to play it.
