Lovely club. Tidy greens and fairways. Surprisingly challenging. Good bar and parking.

Rawdon Golf & Lawn Tennis Club is a hidden Gem of a Sports Club and a place to visit. The Golf Course although just nine holes should be given the up most respect as it presents a tough test to Golfers of all abilities.
I have not participated in Tennis at Rawdon but note that this aspect of the Club is very forward looking and to this end the Club have just completed the installation of a special softball court which is the first of its type in our area.
The Club itself presents a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere with very friendly members and staff and a great space for outdoor relaxation area where meals and drinks are served, this area is complemented with the vast southern facing views of the local area.
Good luck going forward to all aspects of the RG<C from a past playing Golf Club member.

Superb 9 hole with 18 tees. Narrow and challenging .Often with Red Kites overhead and occasional deer coming to share the 5th fairway makes this course a pleasure to play.
Welcoming, friendly and relaxed club house offering great food and fine handpulled ales.

On a golfing visit to Leeds, partially spoiled by terrible weather (for April) and saturated courses, we fell upon this 9 hole gem. A 100 year old course, laid out by Varden. An undulating woodland track with remarkably good greens for the conditions, and a well laid out fair test. Recommended.
