If you love golf and its history come to the home of Dr MacKenzie. This is a fantastic golf course and you can see why Alistair MacKenzie is thought of as one of the finest golf course architects the world has ever known. (Augusta National, Cypress point to name 2 out of 150!). Great Course and lovely people. What more could you ask for. thank you

What a nice place the staff work so hard noticed alot of members don't even say thank you when ordering it doesn't cost much to say thank you or please I was quite shocked at this but on the whole the course is amazing the food is so nice but the staff make the experiance Nathan you do an amzing job and very attentive to what the customers woukd like thank you

Beautiful place, and the fairways also the greens, quite a tough course to play... (up and downy ).. so its a good challenge. Fairly Strict dress code ie: no Jean's ..(good 😁). More of an old school traditional golf club with traditional old school etticet/ethnics/rules. All good though.

Without doubt, the best golf course I have ever had the privilege to play. November 16th and the greens were still in excellent condition. The Assistant Pro, Jacob, is a true Gentleman and looked after us in a very professional manner. The catering staff were very welcoming and the breakfast was exceptional. Find me a better golf course, I very much doubt it.

Played twice this year, and caddied for our local player in English Amateur, this course has to be one of the very best inland course in the country. A great test of golf, great greens, not one boring hole. Great clubhouse and very competitive Pro Shop. If you get chance to play Alwoodley you will not forget it, great tracks in the area, but for me this is the best.
