I have had lessons with Richard for a number of years and my handicap has steadily improved each year. He will make sure you understand the fundamentals of posture, alignment and setup to provide a solid basis for the swing. He also has the experience to spot what needs to be worked on and can teach it in a straightforward and easily understandable way. Highly recommended!

My wife (a golfing newly) and I had Richard as a tutor and were very impressed with his style, approach & encouragement. We both developed our skills at a much faster rate than had we just gone to the range and knocked balls around. His hints on subtle changes to the way we stand, hold the clubs etc made a huge difference and we hope to be coached by him again sometime from Spring onwards. Richard has a nice instructive and pleasant manner. He puts his point across in a concise and simple manner. While obviously a lot of time is spent getting the right grip and swing he is equally happy and insightful giving chipping and putting tips. He has made me think more profoundly about my golf shots.
