Enjoyed the golf aspect of the venue, I loved the space/aliens theme. Also lots of lights and sounds which made it interesting. Refreshments were reasonably priced. Also enjoyed the air hockey and basketball. You can only play pool if you book the table for a full hour, which meant we couldn't as we were strapped for time but perhaps would have done otherwise. All in all, good value for money and I think we would probably come back again :)

Booked here on a rainy afternoon, my other half expecting it to be more like the Flight Club, maybe a little bit more up market. It felt more like an arcade, which was ok, just not what we had envisaged. We booked in for 18 holes of golf ⛳ it was ok and we did have fun but it could have been better. Some of it is showing it's age, could do with a bit of TLC

an indoor futuristic themed miniature golf course with three seperate 9 hole courses. We played two, it was a little busy and the first course was a bit tight for space, the holes are pretty short too but we had fun none the less. The decor and sound effects were good and the boy seemed to enjoy himself so result there. There's a bar and restaurant with a separate area for parties. We had burgers which were pretty nice, the coffee was good too. The boy had chicken gougons which he wasn't really fussed about but I thought they were really good. All fairly reasonably priced too.

In the words of a nine year old “It was fine” but the aliens, moustache wax, “twirly thing” and “computery thing that goes bleeple-eeple-beep when you hit the ball in to it” were great. Three nine hole courses, each with a different theme and different feature/novelty holes. Nothing too taxing, every hole is a par two. Bar is reasonably priced for the location and the food, drinks and golf packages are very competitive. Let the bar staff know you’re taking your drinks on the course and they’ll put them in plastic glasses; each hole has plenty of tables so you don’t need to juggle your drink and you club.

We visited for a second time and it was more improved. There were arcades, pool tables, an electronic darts area and the original two courses. We found although it was busy everyone was using common sense and socially distancing.

Really good. You have 3 sets of 9 holes to choose from. Plus lots of other stuff for the kids to do. You have electronic darts, baseball ball games , air ice hockey game, pool tables and a VR simulator as well. They have a great food menu as well, which is aimed at kids. So makes ordering food easy for the kids.

Overpriced I thought, which is a shame because otherwise a good afternoon. Pool is £10/hr, a slush drink = £3, air hockey =£4 per game, ping pong is £6/30mins. Staff were lovely and a lot of time and effort has obviously gone into the decor around the mini golf courses. My son enjoyed it and would want to go back.

It was a fun experience, staff were really friendly. There were plenty of drinks and food options. However, there's a real need to clean the place up. Dirty rimmed glasses, wet bar, sinks piled high. The slots are 5 mins apart when you book online but it seemed to be a free for all when we got on the course.

Have just been today, set up for the golf, is excellent kid's loved it. Kiddy's meals quite good, only problem kiddy's pizza comes with nothing as a side dish. Plus the kids little coke, was £2.75 not impressed with that Will be back again in a little while.

Had a great time here with my partner yesterday. We hit it at a great time as we were the only people on the course and could play about as much as we liked (11.30am mid week). The sound effects and decor are fab, we love crazy golf and this was definitely a great one. The lockers for coats etc are very handy too.

The staff were really nice here, the drinks were reasonably priced -with two for one cocktails. But I was a little disappointed by the 'crazy' golf, there are three 9 hole course to choose from which is great for avoiding the queues. However, the courses themselves were far from a challenge mostly comprised of small slopes and dips in the floor, no hidden traps or obstacles. I understand that they are catering for all ages but children would still find this easy. It's a shame really as the course theming is good.

We went on a Sunday morning on a short visit to Newcastle. The golf was great fun, well thought out and put together and challenging enough for adults but good for young children too. The food really surprised me. I was expecting the usual poor quality from typical entertainment places but I had an excellent halloumi wrap which was bursting with nicely cooked vegetables and lots of halloumi, the chicken goujons and burger we also had were similarly good. If it's been served all of this at a decent cafe I'd have been very happy. Nice coffee too.

Visited Mr Mulligans in Newcastle this afternoon with our family. We had two gift vouchers as presents from last year. On arrival there were issues accross the UK with voucher codes not being registered. Michael & his staff were absolutely superb. They sorted everything out and we all had a brilliant time. We would definitely recommend this venue once again we would like to wish Michael & all the staff at Mr Mulligans a fantastic Christmas & New Year.

Verry fun place to go wiht friends and family for a day out or a party. There is 3 golf courses each space themed but taken on in a different way. It's entertaining for all ages and a great choice for a day out.

Brilliant fun, 3 9 hole course, play at your leisure. We went on a Wednesday evening so it was comfortably busy, enough for an atmosphere but not so you couldn't play. The place looks great and there is an interesting variety of holes making play fun. A good choice of drinks, about average priced, but the food was very cheap. Around £6.50 for a burger and fries and I think a pizza was about £8, and it was very decent. Can't wait to go again.

Went here instead of ghetto golf as it was closer to the train station, wish I had gone to ghetto golf,. Good place to spend a couple hours. Went as a group of 6 last night and played 2 rounds then stayed for food after. Enjoyed the experience and would recommend it as it was a good start to our night. The only negative I would say is that the courses aren't really that challenging as we were finishing most holes in 2 shots. But overall we liked it and would gladly come again 😊

"Lyrical And His Family Visit Mr Mulligan's Golf & Bar, Saturday 12 June 2021". Parking is easy to find and very close by. We parked in The Gate, but Eldon Square is literally just across the road. Oh well, we know for next time now. The golf courses inside are rather fun and the soft drinks are decent, but unfortunately the lights and noise can be potential sensory overload for autistic people like myself. Yay for tinted lenses lol. I coped with it rather well in any case though and I still had fun. The disabled toilet's flush handle was a bit busted, but it's still working just about. Nice and clean in there at least. Unfortunately the actually inconvenient thing for the most part was the sticker on the outside entrance window saying "Charge your phone here". However, there were no visible charging stations anywhere, and the staff confirming upon request that there was no such service suggested the contrary to what was claimed at the entrance. Maybe it meant there's just some spare sockets around? That's not how the sticker's graphic design seemed to imply it though (probably a minor detail and it wasn't the end of the world, this is just more of a head's up in case no phone charging service actually exists there). I interpretted the signage as it meaning it had a charging station somewhere, but oh well. This is possibly vague or misleading advertising at best, or false advertising at worst. Either that or the staff just didn't know for whatever reason. The staff members we did interact with seemed very nice though, if not a little bit slow with our drinks (to be fair though it was very busy so I can respect the time and hard work it takes). My phone was of course dead by now, (hence the enquiry with the staff in the first place to follow up on the sticker's advertised service), so unfortunately I didn't get my own photograph. However, fellow public member Christopher Beers' photograph of the entrance on Google Maps from one week ago shows the same sticker, (thanks Chris), so I know it was definitely real! (I drew an arrow to highlight it because of my low quality crop zoom). Everything else was as it said though. No major problems that I can recall, and the minor issues we had were most likely situational for the particular day we visited. Even then, nothing could really spoil our visit anyway. I personally love the outer space theme it has going on right now. It was a fun visit and I would return again, but at a less busier time. Mostly pleasant evening, just not as relaxing as it could have been. My genuine review is 3.5 out of 5 stars, so I will round it to 4 for this submission. Thank you for reading my first review, and if you are lucky enough to visit this place at a good time of day in a good mood, (and with a full phone battery lol), then definitely give it a shot. I went to my friend's birthday party here. The arcade was really fun and the food was nice. The crazy golf course had a fun space theme and was really hard. I have to admit, we only spent twenty minutes in the actual golf course since it was so short. The party room was really nice and so were the staff. This is a good place to go when bored in Newcastle. Great for the family! My friends and I are still begging to go back again! So I reccomend this place to everyone, any age.

It was pretty crowded when we went (saturday afternoon, October, not great outside) and as such we spent more time stood waiting for others to finish their turns than we did 'golfing' this also adds a sense of time pressure when you get your turn. We enjoyed the crazy golf, for the most part it was a simple course with nothing too challenging, but the theme really adds something to it and makes it good fun to do. I think it would be great if you managed to catch a time when its quiet or just filled the place with people you know.

The courses are basic and easy to complete in 2 or 3 shots. The prices are far too high for how long it takes. Went on a Sunday and had the choice of any time slot and no queue. There's a reason for that. If it was the same price as what you currently pay for 9 holes for 18 or 27 it'd be worth it. The scenery is not incorporated into the actual course. Just a nice background. I went to one of these in Leeds and a lot of it is booked up already for next weekend. Their courses are par 4 or par 5s and more challenging yet its 2 pound less. The larger the group size the more the price per head becomes bearable but go as a 2 or 3 and you'll be done in just 20 minutes having paid 16 to 20 quid for the experience.

Fantastic set up ..played 27 holes paid £38.00 for family of 4. Food is lovely and get great offers up until 5pm kids had 14 inch pizza and pint of coke for £6.00 . Drinks are bit pricey between £3.50 & £5.00 a pint. But overall great day had by all.

Amazing course, very cool looking and fun to play. Great drinks selection, you can take your drinks with you while you play! Not cheap but certainly not expensive either. Only downside was that it gets very busy.

I mean I wouldn’t say it was a bad course, but I wouldn’t say it was a good course. Easy to read the greens, although i did bring my own club and ball with me so that helped. Disappointed to see that not many of the patrons were not wearing full golf attire, I actually saw one patron with a T shirt that read ‘Frankie said relax’ let me tell you, when you have a 2 shot lead on the 8th and the flashing Alien lights are flashing making noises there is certainly nothing to relax about. Also, despite? Every attempt to shush the crowd, the ailens kept shouting during all 8 of my practice swings which I think is very unsportinglike. I thought the props were a little dated as i doubt the wooden boxes really carried space suits. I thought some of the obstacles got in the way a little bit, for example you would never see a giant windmill in the middle of the green at Augusta would you? Anyway, not a bad course. Good looking bar staff. Stunning course and a real family atmosphere. 7/10.

Really good idea needs more space between each potting green prices are good reasonable although they do makeup for it in canteen because that's a little pricey my suggestion to the owner would be to build another crazy golf just outside the city with carparking and moor for all family members making the putting greens a little more challenging.all in all we enjoyed the time indoors but need more space .
