I walked into the Oxford American Golf the other day and was immediately attracted to the shiny new Taylormade P770 irons on the rack. I made a free custom fit appointment with Ben to try them out. At the custom fit day , Ben let me try out Ping, Callaway,Mizuno,Titleist irons just to compare them to the Taylormade P770s. Ben's knowledge of the custom fit process was second to none and I walked away with the right shaft and grips to go with my Taylormade P770s order. Thank you Ben for your excellent customer service.

It's not often that I hop over to google to leave a review, however the team at American Golf Oxford deserve it. I popped in for an impromptu club fitting, which then turned into a quick lesson to help with my rediscovered slice. Brilliant staff and a great lesson, the slice is at least understood and I've got a new driver that better suits my game. Really good.

Great place to go. Go for the 100 balls as you will use them especially with the automatic ball on tee device, which is great if you get things on a role as you don't have to move before your next swing.

Went to buy some new trousers: actually the range available was pretty limited. Always best to try trousers on as sizes vary, but otherwise on-line shopping would have given greater choice. In the end, not all that happy with the product I bought as the colour faded dramatically with the first wash (but not the fault of the store).

The best driving range around. The automatic tee system is great and allows heights to change for different clubs. Costs more than others, but with the pre-paid card, the costs are lower. Very good shop attached, but I have not purchased from it yet.

Good driving range. The automated tees are nice and the prices reasonable. The prices for the putting and chipping are steep, especially for the poor quality of the grass. But the location to the business school can't be beat and the scenery is beautiful.

A bit out of the way but staff friendly and knowledgeable. Picked up a bargain pair of golf shoes so well pleased. Choice however was a bit restricted.

Just walking round the shop and talking to Dave Lilley (PGA Instructor) and his team is a great experience in itself. You feel as though you can reduce your handicap just by visiting the facility, talking to Dave and seeing the extensive range of equipment and clothing. This is complemented by the adjacent driving range plus chipping and putting facilities where you can try out any equipment that takes your fancy, buy a coffee and ponder how next you can break your home course record! Definitely worth a visit Harry C
