Reviews of Hoebridge Golf Centre.
T. W.
This Pirates themed adventure golf is well thought-out, great for kids and a challenge for adults. Failure to stay on the course has some fun water based jeopardy, fishing nets provided. The hole are long and varied, keeping interest and competition all the way to 18.
The course is let down by being worn out - all the tees have well worn divots and holes from lots of use, hopefully it's on the golf clubs maintenance plan - still well worth a visit.

Pirate golf!
My son went once, then again... and again... he is 3.5! If we are ever in the area its the first thing he asks to do.
Tips are either arrive early or late... there's not staggered starts so if you book at 10am, so have 5 other families so you get stuck at the first hole!
The golf is around water, but don't worry! If the ball goes in, there are rods dotted around to fish them out. Most people don't realise until they've spent 10 minutes trying to get their ball out with the golf club.
The last hole, the ball goes in and that's that, so if you've skipped any holes go back and do those first.
Suitable for young kids of they enjoy and can swing a golf club.
The food at the club is also nice and the staff are very accommodating.
S. R.
9 hole is good for quick round, if no one in front you can get around in 1:15 hour… 18 hole is great , few holes are tough with hills, but overall great place well kept fairway , green can sometimes be bit wet, if your score is not great don’t worry you can always enjoy breath taking views ;-)
M. H.
Great 18 hole course and par three 9 hole course. Great practice facilities, bar and well stocked pro shop. Will be back when the fairways are lush and green.

We won a ticket to the Pirate Golf, which we weren't able to use due to the pandemic. The staff were AMAZING and let us use the ticket, despite being out of date. The course itself is lovely. Challenging for children and adults! My son loved the pirate ship and the glow in the dark hole, and the pull along bridges, and we cannot wait to come again. Fabulous use of a couple of hours!!!!
M. F.
Had our son's christening here. There was a lot of rehashing event details prior to the day as they had a lot of staff changing hands but nothing slipped :) and once we were on site they were awesome!
Helped us to set up the room as we wanted, friendly, helpful staff that made us and our guests really welcome. We were also able to bring the kids over to the pirate crazy golf (so cool) as a bit of extra fun (so sorry to anyone that was playing that day 😂) The selection of salads for the bbq option we got was banging & everyone was super accommodating.
Thanks for making the day special for all our family 🥰
R. Y.
Fantastic course. Pro shop staff friendly, as were the driving range staff. Driving range was actually very fancy looking! Clean and well maintained. Very impressed. Course itself is a lovely course also.
Z. B.
The 9 hole course is actually a nice legit course, not like others where it's a tack on for kids. Decent prices too for Surrey, and when I went in the late afternoon, which I'd say is the best time to play on a hot summers day, it wasn't too busy at all. Brilliant driving range too, which seems a bit more modern and high tech in comparison to most places I've been.
Other than that it's pretty kitted out with other stuff other golf courses aren't, like a really nice mini golf place, a gym, other amenities too.
J. M.
Great fun at the driving range. £15 for 100 balls. Then a couple of drinks on the patio. The only downside being the App they use for ordering. Not as Elite as the name suggests. Difficult to navigate and often fails to confirm a purchase. You end up checking your email!
Love this Club though. Turn up and play, several 9 and 18 hole courses
J. H.
Staff were friendly and the courses are nice and quite well maintained. I feel there needs to be an advisory with the later holes on the 18 hole short course - very very steep!
Went to the crazy golf and was totally ruined by the number of people allowed in. Was just in a que the hole way around - spent more time waiting than actually playing.
D. L.
Brilliant place, only took part in the 18 hole crazy pirate golf and had a great time.
Nice cheeky beer after just cool down. A brilliant place and one that I will definitely be returning too.
J. J.
Played here today in a national event in this very hot temperature, because of the heat only managed seven holes which were in great condition given the adverse weather the greens were brilliant very slick but true.
I would like to thank the staff for the help and support they gave me and other's to help us return to the clubhouse and rehydrate.
Regards
John McDonnell

We visited the adventure golf on a rainy day but it didn't spoil it, the kids loved whacking the ball out of the puddles. Fun for all the family! Great course with lots of interest, especially the pirate ship.
B. F.
Good course and facilities. Friendly staff. Fairway on the first a bit rough, but winter rules get you a good lie. Dry in mid October. No halfway house, but you are back to the clubhouse. Slow at weekends.
T. U.
Organised a society day at Hoebridge for 8 people. Fantastic day, all ran to time with no delays. Food was good. The course was in great condition, a little busy but expected on a sunny Saturday. Great value for money!
C.
Love playing here - it’s so forgiving. The price is excellent and it’s over 6500yards, making it a great day of golf. On this particular visit, the greens were very long, which was a shame.
F.
Fantastic golf centre and selection of courses. Started on the driving range, didn’t expect to have a ball tracer and screen, so that was a nice surprise and an awesome idea. Played the Shay, short course, first and was a good challenge to start the day. The main course was in fantastic condition and there were some lovely long holes. Very impressed with my first time here.
R. E.
Awesome golf club
The courses themselves are top notch but the clubhouse is also really nice
The driving range is off the charts though, they have this system that tracks your ball telling you loads of info about your shots. On top of that, you can play games like longest drive, capture the flag and bullseye
Brings a whole nother level to the fun
Also very well set up for COVID restrictions
j. F.
Some of the friendliest staff you could ever wish to meet. Lovely golf course, wonderful driving range and amazing bar facilities.
M. 2.
Great driving range and food with amazing service
C. R.
A good afternoon spent at Pirates Golf followed by lunch in the main clubhouse. Not too busy and the food was served within ten minutes of ordering.
P. C.
Hoebridge is a fantastic golf club and course. This is like a community hub with great meeting and function rooms, a super putt-putt/mini golf course, and a well-looked after 18-hole main course. They also have a 9-hole course and a 18-hole par 3 (which I've yet to play either of these). The main course is well groomed and, although not very long off the white tees ' 6536 yards, it's still challenging and highly enjoyable. The front 9 is easier as the back 9 is more hilly. Gotta think and manage my ego as well as the course to score well here. Unfortunately, my last game was rained out so only finished the first 9; still the service and atmosphere within the clubhouse made up for it. This is a very family-oriented club with a gym and cafe bar and grill. I've always enjoyed coming here and their handling of my son's recent school prom was exceptional; thanks Hoebridge.
p. h.
Firstly, this review is written by a beginner golfer who is just learning to swing and hit the ball in a straight line. Some better golfers may not agree with 5 stars, but for a beginner, Hoebridge is great.
The par 3 course is perfect for being forced to not swing too hard and just work on your swing. The views are great too from the last few holes. Then when you fancy trying to hit harder, the 9 hole is a safe place to do that. I haven't ventured onto the full 18 hole course yet but looking forward to taking it on one day.
And as a bonus, the driving range is top quality with advanced ball tracking and the Pirate Golf is one of the best and challenging mini golf courses I've played.
R. B.
Food was terrible.
We had a Society do. The meat pie was all thick pastry, no meat. The mash was ruined by overdoing the mustard seed. Very poor indeed
C. P.
Great place for all different skill levels, I personally cannot play golf, however I can make it around their short course within due time, also there are no silly clothing rules.
Pirate golf if great fun, nice and cheap for a family to have a good time, or football golf is pretty fun too.
The courses are well kept, there is a good bar with good food, on site gym and pro shop, also a driving range. Buggies are available to get around the courses too.
M. J.
Great place great area if you're looking for a good golf range, bar and food. Definitely recommend it to families, couples and parties. Everyone here is friendly especially Harry at the golf range who has the customer service of a 5* hotel. Definitely a great guy and very friendly, able to help out with anything. Keep up the good work!
J. B.
It’s a tough one to rate because they excel in some areas and lack in others. Let me explain……
The range: nice facilities with trackman included, however increasing the cost of balls is very cheeky and getting rid of the range cards also very money orientated.
Putting area and chipping practise area: a nice touch and super helpful when wanting to just pop in and work on those areas of your game.
The bar: for drinks…..lovely. Friendly staff and a nice outdoor area. For food….I only ate nachos here a few years ago and they were dire. Haven’t attempted the food since.
18 hole course: great course with well kept greens. Challenging and decent length. Thoroughly enjoyable.
9 hole course (shey): it’s ok but you can tell they let course maintenance slip due to the full 18. Greens are usually covered in pitch marks and debris. There is also usually a HUGE back log due to the course layout, meaning delays. I’ve waited up to 10 minutes at the 6th on multiple occasions and it’s taken me over 2.5 hours to finish.
18 hole short (maybury): also only ok…..course maintenance definitely lacking here with a lot of greens in terrible condition. Can also get congested.
All in all, more positives than negatives and it’s still my main place to go for range and practise.
C. H.
Absolutely wonderful experience. We had a family meal in the Valley Suite. Izzy did such a lovely job looking after us and setting up the room it looked stunning. Staff were SO friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you also to Alp for being so helpful.
P. B.
Great selection of course for beginner to avid golfer, Main course is the most fun but Shey course is great if your tight for time. Lovely views and course in good condition.
A. B.
We only visited the Pirate Crazy Golf which with our grandson we liked and then the club house. We had a lovely time
M. S.
Great course and golf range. The staff are all very friendly and attentive. The fact its cashless slightly let's it down though.
C. T.
Great park 3 academy course. Easy first 9 holes, challenging on the back 9. Great for newbies, children and great fun all around.
j. p.
Excellent facilities, ranging from Pirate Golf to 3 different courses.
The club house is excellent with good beverages and food and the staff are all polite and friendly.
S. V.
Beautiful course. Tough greens. Extremely quick greens. And really reasonable prices. It's a place I will continue to go back...
B. M.
Played the 9 hole Shey course, greens in good condition and course was nice. Just be careful on the 2nd tee as the odd ball from the driving range comes through the fence.
G. C.
Went for a lesson here at the driving range. Great facilities, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
P. O.
Definitely one of the best complex around great course always busy everything you need got £60 2ball buggy deal well worth it
S. S.
Good fun, but needed some TLC, most of the water features were empty, and the few that did have water in them needed cleaning. There was a lot of rubbish too.
V. J.
Shey course - 9 holes great for progressing from par 3 to the main 18 hole big boy course. Very well kept fairways and greens. Good range of open and slightly narrower holes. Not too busy at the weekends and well priced at £11 a round, early morning or late afternoon
R. T.
Lovely golf course with beautiful scenery. Just have to be aware of some steep climb on a few holes.
M. G.
Lovely set up...looks like it has something for everybody that plays golf....great staff in the restaurant too...
S. C.
Nice location, good sized clubhouse. But when I was there industry the greens weren't in great shape with the ball often bobbling its way to the hole. Overall, a nice challenge with a lot of blind shots!
J. S.
Fun crazy golf course for all ages. Although might have been even nicer on a warmer day!
N. S.
The main course golf is good decent track. The Par 4's are long and the greens are good. What I liked was the fact the Par 3's are 130 yards and more. Some good hills too.
Great facilities beyond the course. I haven't played short course or the Pirate Crazy golf but aware that they are well thought of.
P. a.
Busy on Friday beg on June on platinum queen jubilee
M. M.
Great mini golf especially when you beat the pair of Muppets you are with. Pic of number one who came last, all chat no putt
R. H.
Love the shey short course as good for newbies. Had a meal after in the clubhouse which was all covid secure and the good was very good
D. W.
Played on the crazy golf course very good fun for all will be going back very soon but make sure you book first to avoid disappointment 👍
K. B.
Great place for kids and adults alike. The pirate crazy golf was good fun, has creative areas, including a ship you climb and play and rafts to get across the islands. Would highly recommend for any age.
Y. K.
Beautiful scenery and good condition golf course. Restaurant is also nice and clean.
R. S.
Great golf club, played the 18 hole par 3 course on Tuesday, excellent value, nice test of your irons and putter. Great lunch afterwards with lovely staff in a nice clubhouse. They also have an 18 hole and 9 hole course.
N. A.
Friendly staff and good facilities
h. h.
Always kept premium condition all green keepers work hard to keep the course tidy..greens are always near perfect even during the winter harsh weather. I love it..
S. C.
Always a nice well paced round.... BUT they've jumped on the Covid bandwagon at the clubhouse. No table service outside, must order through a terrible app then go chase your order anyway. Makes absolutely no sense other than to save money on waiters..... Used to sit around after for a few drinks, no more, too much hassle.
A.
Awesome golf course, very well kept. Despite its popularity, seem to do a very good job of regulating play so that you don’t wait too long.
Aside from the golf, the clubhouse does good pub style food with a perfect sunny terrace to enjoy a post round beer.
G. P.
Very good in most ways. Course is in great condition range is good, even though some technical issues today with Trackman. The worst bit was slow food service in the bar late morning...30 mins to get a breakfast with only a total of 4 people in the bar area.
Otherwise definitely looking forward to going back.
R. R.
Good 9 hole course. Putting greens were great
R. W.
Not great would be easy to do better! Starter and golf staff very helpful and pleasant. Had a bacon roll and friend had sausage on a roll i did think it was steamed
K. G.
Went to the mini golf and had a good time, although felt like we were being pushed because there were people behind us
P. R.
Good crazy golf good for party's bar food good ....good golf driving range pro shop
S. M.
Pirate golf was amazing. Great fun! Rescuing the golf ball from the water added to the fun of our visit!! Also recommend the cafe...amazing rocky road!!!
E. I. G.
lovely, lovely staff especially Amy. She was super friendly and helpful, absolute star.
C. W.
Played the main 18 hole course today, which is in great condition, a very interesting course - really a good experience, especially considering it's essentially a pay-and play. However the clubhouse food service is so disappointing, had to cancel a breakfast before as the order had not been passed to the kitchen. Afterwards we asked if we could have 4 sausage and bacon baps. These had to be chased twice, and when they eventually arrived there was one bacon and three sausage baps. Drinks service fine, but there is a huge problem with the kitchen.
M. M.
It's ok it's nice place, didn't get the job offerd, never mind. Enjoying your golf, or nice food drink, surrounding area.
I. P.
Me and my girlfriend took her son here. We all had a really good time. Her son loved it. Would recommend
S. H.
Great pay and play course with a nice variety of holes. Very few feel the same. 17/18 a little disappointing finish, but still a great course with excellent facilities. Get there with enough time to use the range, short game area and putting green. Well recommend.
T. C.
Best golfing practice facilities in the south of England. 3 courses in amazing condition, state of the art driving range, great food. Family friendly.
J. S.
What can you say. Course well maintained. Staff friendly . Driving range brilliant
P. N.
Excellent service, funny and good service with some banta. Johnny was helpful and very friendly at the bar real crackup.
n. h.
The mini golf was great. It took us about an hour and a half to go around the course and it was great fun. They had put a lot of thought into the different the different courses. It was all weather. The children really did enjoy themselves and it was incredibly family friendly.
D. W.
Excellent facilities and 3 varied and challenging golf courses to choose from. Great place if you love golf.
I. G.
Beautiful, well presented & managed course! Fantastic condition - a real pleasure to play! Will hopefully return in the future. Only downside is they need to address the bar service - the 'Table App' approach does not work efficiently leaving you frustrated when trying to acquire food & drink.
M. B.
Lovely challenging golf course with some really beautiful holes and memorable spots. The views over the Surrey hills on one particular hole were rather memorable. I have now played all three courses here and all are good in their own way. The practice facilities are top notch with the additions they have made to be covid safe and adapt for this new technological age are superb.
R. M.
I am part of a group that go out at the crack of sparrows every Saturday and play the back nine on the main course. I have been out due injury so my first time in while. The course is in lovely condition but was disappointed that the condition of the bunkers were poor with very little sand to be able to play out softly. You may argue that I should avoid getting into the sand in the first place but in fact that is down to good course layout planning and me playing risk and reward golf. So that aside, Hoebridge offers golfers of all levels a good challenge, but good course knowledge is key else take plenty of balls
A.
Very nice and challenging golf course! If you haven't played there yet then you definitely need to!
D. W.
I just dropped in to use the driving range, the place was a hive of activity, people eating and chatting in the outside dining area. Since my last visit they have installed Trackman golf on the driving range. It certainly made practise more interesting when you know all the stats about your shot. The staff were friendly and helpful and I'll certainly be returning.
B. J.
Played the Pirate crazy golf....very well laid out with interesting holes and a good challenge.. fantastic for children..
R. C.
Very nice food staff were friendly even though we were not members
J. G.
Good facilities, friendly staff. Went at tee time, had some chips on the driving range. On par with top golf just about three times cheaper. Loved it.
D. B.
Fun, if surprisingly difficult, mini golf course. The main carpet is very short-haired, making the balls roll very fast. Even short putts are not gimmies, which can make it very tricky for junior players. You will likely roll into the central river several times. Despite pre-booking, the course can be rammed. In particular, a very long Hole 3 causes a concertina effect on the queues, but they do ease up after that. Even so, you can be looking at 2 hours to play 18 holes. The core design is solid, with most holes having at least two different routes of attack. The course is being improved at time of writing.
M. S.
Great place, friendly staff, good golf course
B. S.
Greens are in great shape. Course very well maintained!
G. F.
Good value and an amazing amount of facilities. Some lovely signature holes with spectacular views
Z. H.
Amazing course, great food, excellent service!
A. L.
Fantastic 18 hole par 3 course with wonderful views and at a very reasonable price. Perfect balance of price and course. Will be back again soon
M. A.
Not a place i would return with my golf society. Average food but no separate area for my 20+ society. Its got 3 stars as the course is ok. No stars for the food and the area we were left in to eat our food and do the presentation
R. P.
Nice golf course, played the par 3 18 hole and had a good time. Lost a few balls on the last few holes but I think that's more my golf experience than the course layout!
There could be a bit more signage from the clubhouse to the start of the short courses which are back round the corner and through a carpark. But we had a map for play so we found it alright.
Had a tasty club sandwich and moretti at the clubhouse after the round. I tried to get a lemonade top but the app made it tricky to work out which drink in our party it was for so it came in a small glass to the side which was cute!
The club sandwich was substantial and came with chips, my husband had a halloumi wrap which was also delicious.
J. O.
Loved the course, its long and I had a buggy. The hills are steep and make the holes quite challenging. Watch out for the 17th it's a beauty. Photos don't do justice to the course.
A. S.
Covid safe and kids had so much fun
S. M. T.
The mini golf course was really good and fun. We forgot to book but was able to quickly book and then jump straight onto the mini golf course. The car parking was good with lots of spaces. Would highly recommend.
G. C.
Coffee very good but found Carrott cake a few days old and very dry
T.
Great morning today on the course. Very much enjoyed it
J. H.
Played the main course and in very good condition considering its the winter and the footfall it gets.
Tee boxes are generally smart, you can find a decent enough lie on all fairways and the greens are a little bumpy because they are soft and the foot prints are prominent but you can still get a good enough run at the hole.
Most bunkers are unplayable at the moment and my only real gripe is the amount of pitch marks left by the players on the greens...pure laziness.
All in all very good though and I recommend.
A. P.
Really well kept course. Shop still open and fully stocked. Greens and fairways spot on. Well worth a round.
D. P.
We played the 18 hole pirate crazy golf! Very enjoyable and fun, with only a few trips into the water hazards!! A few hole in one's along the way in our group! Well worth it!
r. d.
Greens played well, general play a little slow, but an enjoyable afternoon with a good beer st the end
M. S.
Played the 18 hole 'short' par 3 course for the first time today to get some practice in and I was very pleasantly surprised!
For a pay and play pitch and putt, the greens were in brilliant condition...
Highly recommended for anyone who wants to work on their short game and ideal for people just starting out too. Will definitely be going back!
The other two courses looked to be in good condition too, from what I could tell, but it was very busy today so would have been a long round...?!
S. D.
Love the Trackman range and a decent coffee too!
C. C.
Good pay and play set up. Great value for money. Very relaxed, allowing beginners to play in comfort. Doesn't appear very strict on golf clothing. Play can get very slow, due to standard of some players.
A. H.
Golf course was great. Praise the Greenkeepers for me.
The burgers we 4 had were quite hard and possibly undercooked. How about some draught beer. Not everyone is a lager drinker.
R. S.
I was dropping someone off and had a look around. It's amazing! At least two 18 hole courses plus a 'dino' crazy golf course, pro shop, cafe, putting green and extensive driving range (make an event of it!). Check it out online as that's the only way to book.
J. D.
Very well maintained course and the food at the club house was lovely
L. S.
Brilliant crazy gold course, really friendly staff and the kids loved it. Would definitely recommend. If only it was abit warmer 🤣
S. M.
We did the pirate golf as a family which was good fun.
Some of the holes are a little tired and could do with a bit of maintenance. But a good layout and still enjoyable to play round.
M. L.
Fantastic Pirate Crazy Golf area. Took my little boy here over the weekend and he absolutely loved it. It’s a great place with a decent atmosphere. Having the sun out was brilliant. The Golf course looks amazing and it’s at a decent price will be giving it a go next weekend especially if the weather continues in this way. Restaurant serves a selection of good food and it’s a great way to spend your weekend. Would highly recommend it to anyone over the summer.
P. H.
It was a good venue to coach my grandson on the driving range and then playing 18 holes on the par-3 course which was in good condition
T. T.
First time I have played the course. Lots of people out having to wait at quite a few holes. Only got round 10 holes before the light got to hard to play in with a 13:30 tee time. Will go back when it is a bit quieter and play the whole course.
S. M.
Great crazy golf made extra interesting by the water!! Loved it, great family fun!
D. S.
Great course and amenities. The course was in great condition. Only reason not 5 stars was slow play, over 5 hours for a 2 ball due to waiting on every hole and shot.
C. N.
Civilised breakfast, with level access for the less able. Bar can get busy.
Driving Range is open with our any Covid restrictions.
C. B.
Have only used the driving range but it's immaculate and was a very nice experience using it. Large bays with a table, 8 quid for 100 balls (bit pricey) but you get the ball tracer technology on a flat screen in your bay. Would recommend!
m. s.
Lovely shop with a good selection of ladies clothes
A. S.
My 7 year old son and I have been here 3 times in the last couple of years to take part in the Pirate Golf! It's great fun! We LOVE it! It takes around half an hour or so to complete the 18 holes with various pirate themed areas, a ship, two raft pulls across water and other pirate paraphernalia. The Bar / cafe is a little expensive if ordering main meals but snacks and drinks are available at reasonable prices with outside seating area and lovely outlook. A great treat!
T. M.
We have been to this crazy golf course many times and really enjoy this family event. It is clean and well kept course and all 18 holes are great fun to play.
We love the raft to pull yourself to the otherside and also the handy nets to fish your ball from the water when your over excited child knocks it a little to hard. Part of the fun.
Highly recommended course with the option for a lovely lunch in the golf club bar restaurant after.
H. a. D. A.
So much fun had here playing foot golf! The pirate themed crazy golf course is awesome too.
D. C.
A lovely undulating course in excellent condition wirh beautiful scenery. Wide forgiving fairways and well kept greens. The only downside is the amount of slow 4-ball groups holding people up.
N. C.
Nice driving range with good facilities
L.
A great driving range with interactive screens and nice big booths with space for spectators. Friendly staff also added to the nice atmosphere
R. T.
The main course in my opinion is a lovely layout and very reasonably priced. The greens are normally really good too, they were a little spongy today and subsequently a little bobbly. All in all though a really great course considering its price. If they could somehow make the 18th a more challenging and interesting hole this would be a superb track.
P. R.
Played the main course 3 times recently, once with a trolley and twice with a buggy. Enjoyed the course each time, but definitely recommend hiring a buggy for the older or less fit golfer. Looked seriously at membership which seemed good value. The par 3 course, previously played a few times, is also worth a visit. Good driving range, pro shop and cafeteria. Friendly staff.
N. C.
Absolutely amazing experience for ALL THE FAMILY, any age group, for any occasion. The Pirate mini golf course was So much Fun. With lots of quirks to keep the circuit entertaining! Bar is lovely too, fair prices too :)
J. H.
First time I'd played there for a decade or so. Still a great course in good condition BUT where have the yardage markers gone and WHY did you allow a 6-ball of drunken shouting oiks with a buggy to play spoiling g everyone's afternoon who happened across them? - you had marshalls, you could have dealt with them.
S. C.
Played around of mini golf with the kids and absolutely loved it. Went in the Cafe for a carvery afterwards and despite the chef serving being quite sarcastic and a bit short with us, another young chef who was clearing down the carvery was very attentive and was able to get us sharper utensils to cut the meat and cleared some mess and dirty glasses off our table which were left by previous diners. For the most part the staff were very polite and food was great!
V. L. S.
We go for the minigolf. It used to be excellent but over covid some parts have been left to worsen. Parts keep on disappearing every time we go. The actual holes are fun to play.
Z. P.
Lovely driving range modern warm and easy to navigate. My Fiancé has experienced rudeness from some staff members in cafe area, but loves the golf course and the driving range. It is a beautiful golf course. Would recommend playing
I. B.
Wonderful course and staff are extremely knowledgeable.
D. H.
Speaking for the crazy golf only this is a great place. The course is fairly new and well kept with plenty of variety and well designed holes that are challenging for kids but not too hard. My 9 year old loves it. The 19th hole style cafe/restaurant is very fairly priced and the food and drinks are good.
Y. C.
Well maintained course as well as good operation
k. f.
Great Golf Club, good condition and fairly priced!
Would have been 5 stars but they had no nets to have a few practise swings before the first tee.
D. H.
Short course very wet but playable. Obviously not their fault. Cafe service a bit slow with a very annoying inefficient app that you need to download and use to order food and drinks.
S. K.
We have played the short course a few times as complete beginners. It is quite manageable and in beautiful woodlands. The price is reasonable and the course has not been too busy when we have played.
J. A.
The staff are welcoming and friendly. The driving range uses trackman technology and would recommend. The course itself is in good condition and would recommend a round there.
C. E.
Bit slow at weekends but a great complex with enough golf for everyone of every capability.
Could do with watering the fairways in the middle of summer. Greens are excellent, all year around. Bar staff ok and food is good. Adventure golf a bit too pricey for what it is, disappointing that members don't get any discount on it.
D. C.
It was good and the bers ar nicebyt not as good as wether spoons
J. B.
Brilliant trackman driving range that is very good value compared to other driving ranges in the area. All the staff are so sound and always willing to help. Only thing stopping it from getting 5* is the terrible music on the range
J. B.
Great golf course (the main course). Play the other course if you're beginner as the main gets more difficult as you.go along.
Very nice in general as the course does not have the usual stuck up attitude and has things for the rest of the family to do while you.play a round - crazy golf, football golf, large club house etc.
N. B.
My daughter enjoyed her prom here.
T. S.
Really good value for money with some interesting and different holes. Friendly and helpful pro shop staff and a good driving range.
S. C.
Great course and great fun for adults and kids
M. M.
Nice place for the casual golfer. Footgolf on the par 3 can be very annoying at times though.
R. Y.
I really like the golf course. It's challenging and well kept. Sadly the service in the clubhouse has been a bit patchy over the last couple of years. Hence the loss of a star.
m. w.
Nice surroundings. Good friendly staff. Very nice food. We are regulars for the breakfast (although the Sunday chef isn't as good). Not cheap, but good quality. Adequate parking. Mini golf is great fun. Decent driving range.
S. L.
Pirate golf with my grandson was terrific.
p. c.
Grass is well kept and is peacefull other golf player generally respectful. Nice to play golf in good weather.
D. A.
Hadn't played for ages but played the 18 hole short course staff great facilities excellent its the best public course for miles. And then finished with a half price meal at the bar with friendly helpful service and half price ! Thanks Boris for that
P. C.
Good service at bays...very clean...great experience.
D. S.
Great place to start golf
C. N.
Good family trip out. Reasonable prices. Plenty of car parking.
D. B.
Decent range and very well equipped Pro shop. There are 3 courses here, in this instance I only played the Sheet course, which is a short 9 hole course, designed for a quick round - easily sub 2 hours. The layout is very forgiving for beginners, the maintenance of the course was ok, the only negative when I played was that for the first five holes it felt like I was being followed by greenkeepers, which wouldn't be so bad if they gave way to me, but multiple times I had to wait for them before playing my shot. Other than this the round was enjoyable, especially considering the course conditions for the time of year, and I would visit again.
S. B.
Only used the driving range as just started golf again, ots undercover so come rain or shine you can practice with no worries. Well priced for 100 balls and now you can enjoy a beer after your practice to cool down.
A. D.
Coffee very good, cake very average, Victoria Sandwich tasted, not like cream but shaving foam. Couldn't get on the nine hole course, played the par 3 course instead. Course in reasonable condition bearing in mind the recent heavy rain.
A. N.
Had sooo much fun here. It was busy so the queue to get from one hole to the other was long. We grabbed an ice cream and a drink then went to the back of the queue to replay some holes. Had a few laughs with the other mini golfers too. Such a fun day out.
S. H.
Well run in difficult times. Gym is run well and works for me. Today on golf course all managed well in accordance with current requirements. Bar/Food service the same. A very pleasant morning, golf and lunch 😊
J. P.
Course in great condition but bunkers were dreadful, not raked and terrible condition
J. F.
The Pirate golf course is for kids, but adults can enjoy themselves too. 18 holes, of pirate themed crazy golf, with water and sand hazards, ramps, tunnels, rocks, and even a ghostly pirate ship. It's reasonably priced, and it takes about an hour to do the entire course with a child in tow. Very basic memorabilia shop and refreshments available.
C. C. M.
Great spot to have a little fun game of pirate golf. Amazing experience & welcoming staff team
P. N.
Had great fun with the family for 2 hours here.
P. G.
Pretty course. Greens slow but OK. Heavy traffic. Looking lovely at the moment. No bitter in the bar.
T. F.
Well maintained and clearly a popular place to go. I think they could have been a little more helpful when trying to find the way into the driving range and with the system to pay for it.
G. C.
Excellent facilities from crazy golf, 2 nine hole par 3 courses, 1 nine hole course and a full 18 hole course. Great driving range get yourself a player card and put £50 on it and receive £100. That makes it about £3:50 for 110 balls that's cheap. Good pro shop with dining facilities attached.
A. B.
Took my grandson as a treat he loved it we also treated him to a snack at the club cafe hope to take his twin brother soon
J. T.
Great public pay and play course - have been playing here on and off for many years. Lovely location and setting too.
S. S.
Really decent course 90% of the time. Can get a bit weathered towards the end of the summer, but it's in great condition at the moment.
It's often quite slow so allow more than 4hrs.
J. N.
Lovely golf course with a nice clubhouse and food. Good service all round. Front 9 very undulating. Definitely some forgiving holes for the higher handicapper but some challenging holes too.
J. P.
Different courses for different abilities. Good restaurant and coffee/cake/snacks options also.
S. J.
Could be a very good course if work and money spent on new fairways. Some attractive holes with challanging approaches. Greens in reasonable condition. Consistent speeds and running well. Very reasonable green fees cosidering location. Very good course for learning and improving your game.
G. D.
Good to have the golf back. The staff were very pleasant and we're doing their jobs exceptionally well, and offering advice on distancing and cleanliness etc. Thanks guys. We will be back soon. Gary and Paul
P. D.
Good golf course especially if you're not a low handicapper. Friendly staff with decent food.
t.
Great 18 hole course, rolling hills and plenty of fresh air in quite wild countryside, yet so close to London.
Well stocked shop, and very good restaurant.
Parking also easy which is nice.
K. S.
Beautiful well kept course. Very tough with lots of Par 5's and an undulating course - there's quite a holes where you'll be playing blind. One of my favourites if not my favourite, great value and very picturesque. Would definitely recommend!
D. P.
Everything you need and a fair price all round. Friendly helpful staff. Gym is good and everything the average gym goer requires. Food is quality and service always positive.
J. T. (.
Really nice family oriented golf course. Reasonable fees; beautiful course; great Pirate Golf course too. Also a pretty decent cafe. Parking is plentiful but it’s a busy centre.
M.
Golf course, excellent. Greens a tad slow. Unfortunately the food lets it down. I couldn't have plowed on the miniscule "plowmans lunch". After 18 holes I was starving! The dinner was adequate but not much steak 🥩 in the steak pie. Apple crumble OK.
a. r.
Used to be a nice and affordable place to play golf but now prices are very expensive at the weekend and £5.50 difference if you book online or by phone is a daylight robbery.
Don't be greedy, take care of your customers no everyone can be a member so don't overcharge...
P. F. F.
Delivering goods, beautiful setting superb facilities
M. D.
Great value restaurant and have only played the pirate mini golf which is excellent over 18 holes and has many different type of holes compared to your usual mini golf. There is also a driving range and at least 1 18 hole course
C. D.
Nice golf course with driving range and a shirt course aswell as a great crazy gold course
A. E.
Well organised;excellent driving range; main course in very good condition; good value for money.
G. H.
Adventure golf was great, not too busy, but the restaurant/bar was so busy we had to go elsewhere for a cuppa afterwards. Needs a little informal cafe really.
A. B.
Played crazy golf here. Great course but was spoilt by a large family going around with only 6 clubs between 12 of them! So they held everyone up. No staff checking course. Shame it spoilt it for us.
B. P.
I've been here a few times for the crazy golf (which is brilliant) as well as having eaten there and played footgolf. Unfortunately our footgolf experience was not good - the man behind the till in the pro shop was very rude to us for some reason. We spoke to a manager and we were told he is always like that - he clearly missed out on his customer service training! All in all the place is great, as long as you don't get served by Mr Grumpy!
A. J.
Superb set up, two good short courses and a well maintained pay and play 18 holes.
J. H.
Three golf courses (9 hole, 18 hole par 3 and full 18 hole).
Good shop and friendly bar staff.
Been back numerous times, as it plays well all year
P. C.
Course was in great condition and good value. Unfortunately our round was marred by a very rude course marshall. One of our fourball did not play well and we were a little slow during the first couple of holes. The marshall told us to speed up which we would have been ok with but he then rudely said we shouldn't be playing a course like this. It was a completely unnecessary comment and quite upset one of our party. We happily allowed others to play through and I am aware that slow play can be frustrating for these behind. There are ways in dealing with it though without being rude about it.
N. M.
Better than ever. They really have got their act together now. Excellent hospitality and the main course was in perfect condition.
S. V.
Relaxing round on the shey today and good service afterwards for lunch
O. C.
Fantastic 18 hole pirate crazy golf, loads of variety that kept the children excited, amused and entertained. Clean and tidy environment with plenty of parking. Will definitely go back
O. F.
Great place to go swing a ball for practice. Great choice of courses to choose from.
B. D.
Great facility with 3 different courses and the best practice facilities in the area. It's even got crazy golf and a gym! There is a friendly atmosphere throughout. Just watch the speed bumps on the way in.
p. g.
Good quality for pay as you go style course, significant work done on course producing good true greens and well manicured fairways. Best of its type and good value for money. Better spend than the average club
J. W.
Good selection of courses from the Full 18 down to Pirate golf. Can be pretty busy in the school holidays. Reasonable prices and food is good in the cafe.
P. J.
Great environment for golfers and families. Can get quite busy but if you play at the right time, you can really have a great all round day out!
R. R.
Excellent range, well illuminated and warm! Staff friendly and helpful, shop had an excellent range of clothing and golf equipment. It would be nice to have a 150 yard marker though
D. D.
Free parking, easy to locate with friendly staff. Perfect for kids and fun for adults to play too. Toliets and bar close by. Foot golf option also available which is a laugh depending on the weather.
S. W.
We played crazy golf although busy it was well organised and we had lots of fun...xxx
A. (.
Lovely course, groundsman really friendly as too were the servers in the golf shop.
R. F.
Course in great condition. Helpful staff.
J. H.
Pirate golf was so much fun. Great atmosphere around the whole centre. Going to look at playing golf as I was very impressed with first visit.
P. D.
Pirate Crazy Golf
Great fun for all the family
Well kept and courses clean
Can get busy but sadly this can be helped as it's the best around the area
£26 for 2 kids 2 adults to give a rough idea on price but for 18 holes this is fine
D. L.
Greens in good condition. A really nice course. Bar service was good for drinks but slow for food
C. T.
Great place for a family day out. Good course in good condition.
S. D.
Played my first round hear today in a 3 ball we enjoyed it so much we joined as members, staff were very friendly, food was nice, very nice layout to the club shop, big driving range, very nice club, happy days. Steve donaghey.
L. G.
The driving range here is great, and relatively inexpensive. The tees and ball dispensers are manual, but then at least they don't break as much.
N. F.
Turned up to play the 18 hole short course at 8am on a sunday and we were straight on to play with no booking. Nice little course and the fairway is very well looked after.
A. S.
Lovely course, driving range balls a bit expensive or I may be out of date £6 for 40. Course makes up for it generous occasionally, challenging and well maintained.
D. M.
1st couple of hole's a bit waterlogged other hole's lots of leaves on them
Heavy rain in the morning
Quite sunny in the afternoon
Played with our golf society 34 of us perfer 2 play in the summer
W. H.
Great cause for money. Course is in fair condition. Greens are good. Some of the fairways need the autumn growing season.
The layout is interesting and fair.
E. P.
BLOODY LOVED IT, I LOVE GOLF!!! GOLF GOLF GOLF!!! They had balls, they had clubs, they had tees, what more could you want. Also played a round of pirate golf. Upon starting i was unsure if i would enjoy it; pirates and golf is an unsettling combonation as i was worried those swashbuckling pirates would steal my ball and take me prisoner. These negative feelings were firmly put to bed upon playing. No kidnappings, no fighting and most importantly no DVD piracy. All round a great day, would recommend.
A. F.
Love this place. Great courses, massive driving range, putting and Pitching practice areas. Staff in the pro shop can seem a bit short sometimes
b. m.
Well set out but not enough ball retrievers for the water only found one in 18 holes
D. S.
Lovely course in excellent condition for the time of year
Looking forward to playing it again 👍
M. E.
Perfect venue for hiring a room with catering . Excellent food, pleasant venue and felt covid comfortable.
D. H.
Great golf venue - good range of course options, with a full course, 9 hole course and a par 3 18. Staff are friendly, good shop, driving range and restaurant.
J. R. (.
I’ve played a fair few courses, and this has to be in my top 3. A beautiful course with very helpful staff, and the pricing isn’t too bad either. And to top it off the food is very nice as well.
R. D.
If you like golf you can play it here. I like drinking and you can do that here too. 😏
M. L.
Good to play.
Wide fairways.
D. A.
For a pay and play, the main course is excellent. Challenges for all levels of golfers. Only thing that lets it down is the pirate golf and football golf on the Maybury course.. I am a bit of a traditionalist!..
S. O.
Nice place to have some golf fun. We booked the Adventure golf and it was good. Worth the time and money. Enough space for car parking and a place to grab some bites. Excellent experience.
M. B.
Must be one of the best public courses in Surrey.
M. T.
Superb parkland 18 hole course, at a reasonable price and in great condition considering the weather we've had. Welcoming and comfortable clubhouse. Highly recommended.
K. C.
A really tasty breakfast! Good value for money and excellent service from our server Matt. Will be back soon!!
L. F.
Great adventure golf and good footgolf, haven't played the actual golf. Staff were a bit stressed but there was an event on so it was busy, food looked really good
D. H.
When some golf courses slowly die a strangulation type death due to myopic management, Hoebridge thrives. Over the 25 years I've visited here the investment they have made is very clear. And they have created a fabulous place to spend a day. It still has the most bone-shakingly annoying speed bumps, but hey, they work.
R. H.
We used the crazy golf, in the rain, and really had a lot of fun. Tried to use the cafe but it was too busy and the queues were very long so went elsewhere.
A. A.
Friendly staff, lovely place
A. M.
Staff are very friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Great for families. Course is excellent, gym is great. Food is fine, if a little expensive.
S. O.
Very good for a pay and play course. Played during the winter and was in superb condition considering the weather we’d had. Very good facilities on site. Not the cheapest round but well worth what you pay
D. G.
Only went to use the driving range this time. Hoebridge has one of the best practice facilities in the area. Very friendly and helpful staff, with a great pro shop.
A. S.
The Pirate mini golf is good fun but gets a bit slow when busy.
E. B.
Lovely place, food fine, staff are obviously still learning on the job but really helpful.
A. H.
Substituted for Anton at the BNI Woking meeting this morning.
I. M.
Pirate golf is great fun for young and old. Can get very busy during school holidays and weekends. Reasonably priced with lots of free parking
B. C.
Good course, well kempt and challenging! Good food also
P. E.
Trackman Range is excellent for beginners
s. f.
Drove over an hour to get there to be turned away cause hadn't booked went to reception before hand and they said could pay and play looked good but make sure you book or you regret the travel
R. K.
We loved the place, as well as the kids did and enjoyed playing mini gulf outdoor. There's also seating area for ordering drink and desserts.
D. C.
Used the driving range, very helpful staff and the toptracer is very useful and fun.
B. C.
The crazy golf is brilliant, we had such a good time. There is lots of water, bridges and interesting holes to play.
A.
Pleasant staff and nice facilities.
J. L.
Crazy golf was fun, was very busy and felt a bit rushed but kids enjoyed it
M. G.
Great fun and well worth a visit. I managed to beat my 6 and 8 year olds but only Just! They had a fun day so thanks for having us.
N. P.
The bays were spacious and clean. Plus the field was perfectly manicured. We truly all loved the experience.

It was great everyone kept socially distant with sanitiser everywhere with some new additions to the crazy golf course very good
T. W.
Great golf course with nice facilities
A. H.
Meh. It was quite good actually. But the weather was raining, and I fell into a nearby pool :D. Great place to visit with your friends and family. There is a cafe there as well.
P. J.
Great course. Fantastic condition all year round and good club house bar and restaurant
M. C.
Very nice
d. h.
Decent course not too busy at 6.45am
R. B.
Fairways need work. Very marked in places. Play was a bit slow too. Good course for the £££ but it's looking worn in places.
A. N.
The crazy golf here is brilliant. All the holes were lots of fun - not too hard and some fun little twists and tricks along the way
..
d. c.

M. I.
Great day out with the kids.
S. O.
Lovely spot for a private party
C. P.
We went there today after a walk with a group of friends. Very nice lunch, well presented & reasonably priced. Would certainly go again.
S. G.
Great golf course - Hoebridge and Shy copse. Good food and drink. Definately one of the better public courses in the area.
C. C.
Had a great time here. The children said it's one of the best adventure golf places they have been to.
W. H.
Great fun day out at the crazy golf only criticism was the price of the slush and it was just watery syrup.
D. S.
After already booking and paying online we didn't know we would have to pair up with another pair until we arrived
P. B.
For a public course, it's very good. They do pack the players onto the course though so don't be surprised if it takes you 5 hours to get round
D. M.
Crazy golf was fantastic
J. M.
Not cheap but well maintained crazy golf with a pirate theme. 18 holes as well, instead of the 9 that's usual at such places.
J. B.
Great facility.... Not 5 stars as they made us have a buggy each.... We were outdoors!
c. S.
Lovely place , food stop early though but good laugh with the range
L. M.
Good value for money, pirate crazy golf was lots of fun ⛳
D. G.
Great golf course. Greens well maintained. It is long so bring your driver.
R. F.
Courses for all abilities, reasonable prices, good shop and restaurant. Hire clubs, trolleys etc and a large driving range. Plenty parking too

They offer crazy golf, golf lessons, driving range and professional golfing. Staff are amazingly kind and helpful!

It is clean and well kept course and all 18 holes are great fun to play.
D. G.
Good course but very slow pace of play, had to give up after 9 holes in 2hr 40mins!
D. D.
Golf fine, food fine but not enough fresh air in the bar/restaurant
A. P.
Awesome had so much fun at their crazy golf it's a definite for kids and a couple hours having fun
S. P.
Great course, mini golf is popular but queues are rediculous and takes forever to around as rules are not applied or enforced
S. M.
Best golf and leisure facility I have ever been to, the food is also brill, great for family day out
T. B.
Don't use the golf centre but am a gym member. Staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities are excellent.
