H. C.Well looked after quiet and charming place. The lodge with hot tub was really well laid out open plan living dining kitchen. Good size bedrooms with soft but good quality mattress. Unfortunately none of the beds had mattress covers on which I find a bit of weird for a holiday let, bit also you can feel the indents in the mattress, not good. You need to take your own towel for the hot tub, although one large towel per person and hand towels are supplied. No toiletries apart from antibacterial soap. The kitchen isn't as fully equipped as they say, so you might struggle if you are a full lodge party and want to cook meals in the lodge. The man made pond in front of the lodge needed topping up with water. There isn't a shop on site and your stuck on site unless you drive somewhere. The restaurant JJ's is okay, very limited menu. One starters or pudding's. We had steak which was lovely and the staff where brilliant. We would definitely go back again
J. S.Beautiful location; only 20 minutes drive from York, and 50 minutes drive from the coast. The lodge was gorgeous, furnished to a very high standard. Our lodge "Hidden Gem" was positioned perfectly, very private. Hot tub was an added bonus. The onsite restaurant JJs was excellent as was the pizza pop up "hut". Dog friendly.
Highly recommended. We will return.

A. V.Loverly welcoming. Really liked the place, very luxurious the caravan was clean, tidy and homely. Feel there should be some sort of trail for walkers or joggers, cyclists and children like a track maybe around the area for people to see the nature surrounding the grounds, A shop of the grounds would be an advantage due to the nearies garage is 3 miles away shell I will be back because I think the place is amazeing thank you too everyone

My husband enjoyed the golf - “nice easy 9 holes and in good condition” apparently! We had a few drinks in the bar and a meal on Saturday night. The cuckoo cabin is a great idea. Lovely site, nice atmosphere and we would definitely stay here again. As a family of 4, with two teenagers and a dog it worked perfectly for everyone! Thankyou.

The lodge we stayed in was bigger and better than the first one we stayed in last year. JJ's restaurant that is on site serves really great food and excellent customer service. Everyone there has been a real delight. So overall Excellent customer service and friendly staff.

The restaurant serves beautiful food with an extensive choice along with a good selection of wines,spread beers/lagers. Would recommend it to everyone who needs a break. Not to mention the golf course which is a challenge in itself.
L. W.I can say this is one of the best uk experiences I have had. Excellent location close to york, the lodges were perfect and the place is really tranquil. The on site restaurant is absolutely fantastic and a plus note to the chef- he went above and beyond to cater for my dairy allergy he changed the recipe and everything would love to go back!
C. s.We're currently staying here, leave tomorrow. We came for the wife's 40th and we've had a great stay. Lodge was immaculate, hot tub was clean and ready to get straight in. I paid for the birthday package decorations so the staff decorated the lodge before we came and they did a great job and we'll worth the money. Had a lovely meal Saturday night at jjs as well. Definitely would recommend this place and we will be booking for next year
L. C.Thank you for a lovely stay, we only booked on Sunday and spent the weekend with you. The reception staff were very welcoming on arrival and the lodge was beautiful. Exactly like advertised, could not fault anything about our stay. If I was going to comment on anything it would be that there is no tea and coffee on arrival (very minor) but after a drive it's nice to put the kettle on without having to go shopping first.
The weekend was a lovely get away as it was but now it will always be special to us, as this is the place we got engaged in the beautiful Lilac Lodge.

c.It's a nice lodge, however I hope you like spiders if you stay here. Windows are totally covered by spiders, eggs and webs. Spiders all over decking and webs all over top and around hot tub. 2 spiders hanging out inside when we arrived too. Lodge is essentially made out of a plastic material, especially the decking so during the 40 degree heatwave the place was unbearable. No fans provided, no AC either so very unpleasant to be in when hot. No toiletries provided, and kitchen items provided is pretty poor. Ponds are a bit disgusting to look at too. Staff are very nice, especially in JJ's the onsite restaurant. They are lovely.have to bring own towel for hot tub (why??) And asked to strip beds before leaving aswell. Always make sure to film when entering and how it is when you leave to cover yourself. Otherwise it's a nice place, 20 minute drive from York. Also no umbrella on decking like others had to even hide in shade from the sun.
L. J.A great 9 hole golf course for any golfer. Challenging enough for a single handicapper but also forgiving enough for a lesser golfer. Friendly ,helpful staff at reception and bar/ restaurant area with table service for food and drink. Amazing lodges with hot tubs,spread between lovely well kept lawns and fountain lakes.
For short or weekly breaks its a must in the York area. Thanks for a great week!!
G. W.Stayed on ladybird lodge and would go back tomorrow , Spotless when we got there and had everything you could want . Club house was clean and staff were great , Couple of mile drive to pockington and a short walk to a local pub if you want to , We didn't want to leave . Cant thank everyone enough for making it a lovely stay and we will definitely be back

The golf course was very good our boys played on the sat morning and night unfortunately they were at a golf competition on the Sunday so couldn't use it on the sunday

I.Went for a weekend break as part of a group.Loved the pretty setting.The lodge was very clean and nicely decorated.they provide alot of stuff like an iron, towels, cooking apparatus and cutlery.There was also a tv in the lounge and one in my room too which was a pleasant surprise.There were quite a few rules though.Just remember to take more toilet tissue as there isnt enough for a group, and more towels if you dont want to wash.There is a washing machine though if you want to.Also there were alot of flies in the bedrooms, probably because of the rural setting.Also you can only park 1 car there, other cars have to go in the carpark which is further away so bear this in mind.theres also no bins in the bedroom.Also there were alot of dogs there so bear this in mind if you dont like dogs or have small children.Also I have seen on some other reviews that there was a restaurant on site.We did not see it and werent aware.Would have visited otherwise.

J. T.The surroundings were lovely,the lodge looked nice when we walked in but we had to wash all glasses,pots,pans & cutlery,they were disgusting. Large toenail on bedroom floor also plastic cup under bed.We put the milk in the door of the fridge and it fell out & broke so we had milk all over,when we told the receptionist she said oh yes there is a problem with them,so why didn't they leave a note.The staff in Jj's were lovely & we had a nice meal in there.

B.We arrived on Sunday evening and left Tuesday morning we were not able to eat in the restaurant that evening but we made full use of the lodge facilities by cooking a meal and enjoying the hot tub. The venue is quiet and the facilities more than enough it was clean and there's a guest book to leave your comments. We were impressed and the restaurant was very nice and the food was scrumptious we would come again.

F. L.We have just arrived home from our stay in Belfry 9. Like a previous review on another Belfry lodge our toilet door handle was broken. We couldn't shut it properly without getting stuck in. Also our sofa was ripped in 2 places. Our hot tub wasn't clean on the first day but after sending photos to reception they did send someone within 30 minutes to clean it. The accommodation was a 8 birth, but only seated 6 at the table, there was only 6 mugs, 6 plates and bowls and 6 sets of cutlery. And there was 7 of us!! But even with these problems we did have a great weekend, the rest of the lodge was lovely.
P. H.Stayed here in a lovely lodge Monday to Friday. The grounds were all very clean and staff were very friendly, particularly the bar staff. We had a few maintenance issues which were reported on day one and these were simply ignored. We had one issue with the hot tub and this was addressed very quickly by the lovely maintenance man. Unfortunately it meant we had tories a night in the tub because the water had not had time to heat back up. The booking was done through NHL staycations. I was a bit dubious of their unprofessional looking invoices and had them checked out buttery were legit. The email you receive after booking is a bit off putting and basically states all the costs you will be charged for any mishaps or rules etc. Just seemed a bit serious and could be set out better. They forgot to take a security deposit but then found out they had been taken over just days after we arrived. I am not quite sure what the reception staff are there for apart from checking you in and out as they don't seem to deal with any problems you have within the lodges and they want you to contact NHL.

J. M.Stayed here recently after being recommend by friends who'd loved it. The lodges are lovely and feel really luxurious with everything we needed. Staff were helpful and polite and the place is peaceful. What more could you need. We have already booked again for later in the year.
K. M.Fabulous place,very quiet and relaxing. Lodges were spotless. The only thing I would say is they need to have plastic glasses to use outside especially for around hot tub. Will definitely be going back.
G.Lovely lodge really modern and comfortable hot tub was fab. There's not a lot to the site, no little shop or activities other than the small golf course. But it suited us as a nights stop over on a long journey.
S. W.This has git to be the nicest place I have stayed in. The lodge was amazing and the pub and restaurant was fab. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The site is lovely to walk around with a few different lakes. They are expanding the site so there is a but of work going on but this was not near our lodge and did not disturb us at all. We stayed in The Portrush 23 which is dog friendly but you would never belive that dogs had been in the lodge. It is spotless. We will definitely be going back.

Had everything we need for a great holiday even has a hot tub to enjoy.
Plenty of places to dine out local,and nearby Pocklington.
Allerthorpe is ideally situated to explore the coastal towns in Yorkshire and country side all around.
Would love to return next year.

Eventually got through to Anthony who quickly rectified the matter and had deposit returned same day of call. Very quick response to resolve issue. And look forward to hopefully get my finances in check in near future as really liked the look of this park with use of golf course and water sports nearby

Lodge was nicely furnished and TV came fitted with a chromecast which was a nice touch when we wanted to quickly play music / watch Netflix. Showers were easy to use with good water pressure. Location was good, close to allerthorpe centre but also close enough for a night out in York, our taxi was £35.
Would go back for a return visit!
