So glad to be back in my local beeches gym.the staff are very pleasant and wecoming all the time and so good to have a sauna and steam rooms. Lovely gym too. Management are really helpful to.

Staff are great and it's fine for a family swim. The building is in desperate need of renovation though. Such a shame as the potential is there to be a modern pool with facilities.

After 3 swimming lessons in the beginners class with no previous swimming experience my 5 year old no longer needs arm bands. Absolutely amazing. Only downside is the water is really cold

Nice warm pool to swim & relax in when you can get in between school kids being there. Changing rooms are not the best, loads of kids running around with shoes on....bring your flip flops, also a bit smelly. Also I was showering & there were female teachers for the noisy kids in there, so of course swimwear left on. The sauna & steam were both nice n hot, just how I like em, but one chap was washing himself all over with a flannel & soap in the steam room, when I asked why, he said mind your own business. But apart from that, not packed & ok. Now for the price, I paid £11, which tbh is rather steep if you would like to go there 2-3 times a week. If it was say £6-7 I would prob go 3 times a week , but now once or maybe twice at a push......A day membership in Bannatynes is just £10 & its way better, just further away. I was eventually told by a staff member that its way cheaper to just join....So I have for £31 a month & I can go as often as I like 👍

I'm not really a leaving a review type of person but after reading some of the negative comments I thought its only right that I let people know that this is a fantastic place with very lovely staff and you should visit ASAP. Don't hesitate.You'll love it. I visit this centre every week with my kids and we have a great time. I've not had any problems. We all have fun and shall continue going.

Warm welcome from lovely Tina. A small but well equipped gym. Lots of wipes and gel available to clean machines and sanitise hands. Lockers directly outside the gym area. Nice pool area. More than adequate facilities for me! See you again soon

I am using this facility from last 7 years. Gym is cool as it was recently refurbished. Pool is average, shower facility/toilets is below basic level. Customer services are good, some members of staff are exceptionally good. Overall good atmosphere but would suggest to improve swimming facility, its a busy place and charging fairly good money but in return you dont get a nice place to swim and take showers.

Nice pool and sauna average size pool and average showers and average changing areas it's nice for a day out to relax a little expensive as swim and sauna cost £11, but I was happy as they allowed me in without membership

Generally OK for a no-frills swim or gym session. They have refurbished the gym but not replaced the machines so there are problems such as the calibration on the treadmill screens being out so difficult to press what you want. Pool is ok. Changing rooms need some serious TLC. It's quite expensive for what you get when better, more up to date gyms can be a lot cheaper.

All the staff I have found have always been very helpful and polite, everytime I go there. I had two brilliant staff members Dale & Julie assisting me with an issue and they went out of their way to solve it. Gym is nice, clean and simple. I would highly recommend the gym if only for the customer service of the staff who work very hard and put a lot of effort in trying to help customers like me. I like going there mainly because the staff make you feel welcome and they even remember your name and say hello to you. A pay rise for all the staff would be great so they get recognised for all thier hard work and effort.

Staff are friendly and helpful. CV gym upstairs, weights gym downstairs. Good swimming pool. Swimming Lessons available. Sauna. Beautician service ( pay extra) Not a massive gym but if you time it right it's got nearly everything you need. One thing missing from gym is a lat pulldown machine. Would be s bonus if one was installed. Around £30 a month and you get to use other council gyms too. Decent value.

We went to a child's birthday party yesterday here and had a really good time. The pool was clean although quite cold, but the kids didn't seem to notice as they had a good time. What was noted however, by kids and adults, was the grumpy demeanour of a few of the life guards. I totally understand the importance of their jobs, they are there for safety and in the event of an accident they are there to help. However it was felt that they just didn't want to be there, were quite abrupt/rude when trying to talk to them before the party started. I just think that for a child's party, the staff could at the very least have a smile on their faces, it wont make them any less vigilant i'm sure.

Joined the Pool and fitness centre today. Good parking on the side of Beeches Road, they have goof family activities however I was hoping there would be more mums activities during the day time. Very clean, changing rooms were clean and nice.

Been going here for a long time. The staff are lovely, really friendly and comfortable atmosphere. Wouldn't go anywhere else. They have done a great job to the gym and really enjoying the sauna and steam room.

Some areas were refurbished in 2015, mainly the gym area. The new sauna and steam room followed a year later (2016). The changing rooms are still in need of updating. Staff are quite friendly.

A wonderful local swimming pool and basic gym. Very friendly staff and you can hire the pool for parties and bring your own caterer's. The Pool run by Birmingham City Council has been threatened with closure, due to recent cut backs, but over 10,000 locals signed a petition to keep it open. It has a lovely children's pool which links to the main pool, so no having to get in and out with youngsters. Also chair hoist for wheelchair users. The showers are very poor in the ladies changing rooms, activated by NOT pressing on the button, but waving your hand in front. Plenty of lockers in changing rooms and by poolside. Well worth a visit though and there is a good viewing gallery and downstairs viewing through glass where you can get a drink and something to eat.

Great place to go swimming Staff are very polite However, unlike Handsworth leisure centre, there is no facility to play Football, Basketball, badminton, etc. There is a gym, but I can’t give my opinion on that, as I have never used it

staff are great and always have been, and do a great job, BUT the free, be active members are continuing to stay longer than their time of 9-10am which is not fair to paying members, some where there today until almost 10:50am, and this happens all the time, and I see them in there well past their 10am vacate time, weekends are even worse, its not fair on paying members and they should vacate at 10am on the button, and not be allowed to stay longer, if they wish to stay after 10am, then pay like the rest of us, they are already getting free sessions and are taking the mik by staying longer, staff need to enforce the 10am 'go' time !!

The facilities here were recently refurbished and it looks aesthetically pleasing and lifeguards are always on duty, but there are still possible improvements to be made such as the supervision in the deep end for younger children and diving board a should be added instead of just springboards and the food area should sell healthier foods not just sweets

Poor seating area to watch your child swimming . not wide enough walkway to get past showers after swimming. This means you sometimes get a bit wet. It needs a bypass exit away from showers as some people shower when they get back home.
