***The best gym with the best people **** Having trained in gym's across the world for the last 20+ years this place for me supersedes the rest. The facilities and equipment are excellent with all your classics and a few modern pieces, if you love training legs you will not be disappointed. Some real thought and planning has gone into this place from the functionality, look , lighting and the sound. Matt and the team are great bunch always professional, attentive there to lend a ear and give advice. A great place to get results and meet like minded people.

I have been a member at physique evolution since it opened. After being a member of numerous other gyms in the area I have to say this is by far the best! Not only is the equipment great the atmosphere is immense. The staff aren’t just super friendly and welcoming they are people you can have banter with. They will go above and beyond if you need help or advice on anything. I’d love to say I had a favourite member of staff but they are all great. The owner Matthew is especially welcoming. He always walks around and makes an effort to speak to you. Everyone who trains there is friendly and it’s great to be around like minded individuals who have similar goals, whether it’s to just stay fit and healthy or weather it’s to compete on stage. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone!!

Without a doubt the best gym in Derby, tried a few when moving back to the area, and for the very reasonable price, the equipment is unreal. If you’re trying to get massive, this place is the one without a question. They offer supplements at a very good price at reception and have a fantastic line of apparel. On top of that the staff are more than happy to help, and very friendly. Doesn’t hurt that their music taste is unreal too Could not recommend this gaff any higher

Absolutely great place to train. The staff are welcoming, friendly and informative. Always happy to leave the desk to support you/ spot you! The gym is under going endless improvements and keeps getting better and better. I work for the NHS so I get a discount (yes NHS discount!!😁) but even without the discount you really can’t complain at the price for what this gym offers. I can say it gets busy at the usual times as expected but I’m never waiting too long for equipment. This gym and it’s staff really has helped turn my life around. You guys are great!!! Thank you so much ❤️

So I met Connor and Zack when I first came to the gym and they were very helpful and two of the most welcoming lads. Showed me around the gym and helped me with any issues I had during my session. Would recommend to any one to check out physique.

One of the best gyms I've been to! I'm not from the area so visited with a £5 day pass, such a good price for what you get! The equipment is first class as well as the staff who are welcoming and friendly. Loved the atmosphere and tunes, really get you motivated for a good session! I won't hesitate to come back to this place.

This is a fantastic gym with a great selection of top of the range equipment and plenty of it to use during busier periods! Lots of parking right outside the gym and its free parking which is always nice! The gym has a very professional yet relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are always on hand and easy to find, they are all extremely helpful and very friendly/ easy to speak too, which is a nice change from other gyms I've attended! Can't rate the place enough!! Great vibes all round. Well done physique evolution!!

Not a bad gym q decent qmmount of equipment but the condition of some of it isn't great they could do with my benches and extra dumbells as the commonly used weights aren't available during the peaks. The upstairs area is a bit barren and could do with some extra mats.

The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and professional and can't do enough for you. The gym has parking available for members directly outside meaning you dont need to find parking elsewhere and walk over. The gym is always tidy and clean with antibacterial spray available to wipe all equipment down before and after use. The equipment is top quality and there is plenty in there to use. Classes are available for all gym members too. You wont find a better gym than this anywhere.

I have recently joined this gym and the equipment is very good and a nice variety for each muscle group, and some new machines I've never seen before. The staff are always very friendly and the music and sound system is also on point. Best gym out of like 4 in Derby I've been to.

Great gym. Probably the best bodybuilding gym in derby since full force unfortunately closed. Be careful of the yeti juice though I had some at 1pm it’s now 5am and I haven’t slept a wink 😂

One of the top facilities out here in the East Midlands. There atmosphere suits the goers of the establishment — people who want to get better and do this by using the best equipment in the industry. The staff there are always willing to give a hand or a spot when needed. When you dont need to have headphones in during a session, you know the place is always playing high tempo bangers. Would definitely recommend getting a day pass to see what you think of it.
