E. V.Very clean and tidy! Comfortable bed; Room is spacious and functional. Beautiful bathroom! Shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand wash soap and body lotion all well supplied. Free breakfast has a good selection of food. Can self make tasty waffle! Cheerful staff!!!
m. l.From the second we checked in until check out every staff member we met were warm and friendly. Any query or request we made was met with eagerness to help. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfy. Breakfast ran smoothly and food was nice. Location is amazing for shopping and close to bars and restaurants. Highly recommended! I've stayed in more expensive hotels in Glasgow which weren't as good.
E.Value for money!! Great location, very clean, very friendly staff and fantastic breakfast. I was surprised that there was a machine for waffles. And if you want to burn these calories later, there’s also a gym. Additionally, there’s a possibility to leave your bags at the hotel after your check out. Overall, it’s all we needed for our holidays in Glasgow and I highly recommend it.
Z. B.We have just stayed 3 days at this hotel and we’re very impressed. The rooms were lovely and clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a slight issue with showers but we were given regular updates and it is being resolved. In the mornings, there was an excellent selection of food and drink at breakfast time. The staff went the extra mile to ensure we had an enjoyable and relaxing stay, nothing was too much trouble for them. All staff were smiley and attentive. Highly recommend this hotel, we will definitely be back.

Scrambled eggs were warm but rest was warm. Haggis was lush but come on Hampton Where's the lorne sausage? Oh and a Yorkshire tea bag wouldn't go a miss either. All in all a great memory in fact that good we joined there loyalty scheme

A. A.Very nice hotel in the city centre with a contemporary vibe. The room, a standard double, was lovely. There was a small issue with the bed which was very quickly rectified by the night staff. We found tokens for a complimentary drink, pushed under our door in the morning, for the inconvenience. We found all of the staff to be very polite, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good too 😋 Will definitely stay again.

Location is very good (only 8min from the station (Central Glasgow) and most of attractions were in near the hotel (walking distance-10-20min in general). Also, the breakfast was really good as there were many options to choose and they give haggis for the breakfast.
However, the room was very cold and their beddings were not good enough to keep me warm during the sleeping.

The main issue I have is that hot food bar of the breakfast is quite un appealing and the noise levels in the rooms seems quite high due to quite thin walls . Basic rooms but all you really need for a short stay including hangers, toiletries and hairdryer. The hallways and rooms were quiet which is unusual for a large hotel. Typical friendly Glaswegians who unlike other hotel staff do not look down their nose at you if you don't arrive in a Bentley or wear Gucci shoes. Smart but casual dress so makes you feel more comfortable and human. Banter is encouraged which again shows a human side rather than the usual stuffed shirt lot of many other hotels. Aye, I'll be back when next in the finest city in the world.

m.Stayed for 2 nights, room was clean and a good size, plenty of plug sockets and a good size work station with a comfy office chair. Bathroom has a walk-in shower with shower gel, conditioner and shampoo dispensers. WiFi was fast and it was good to find a safe in the drawers by the bed. You will also find a decent iron and ironing board. I would like to give a shout to to the team member who I asked for some ice and he said I can collect from downstairs and to my surprise when I walked out the lift he was there's with a ice bucket full of ice. Currently they are serving breakfast to the rooms due to covid regulations a good selection to choose from.
E. W.Chose this place based on Google reviews Now I'm adding my own review. Phyllis & I were shown to our twin room. The beds were not single they were small doubles with thick mattresses. Some people had said in reviews that the beds were uncomfortable but they are firm & very comfortable. The room itself was a very decent size with two large windows,heavy curtains that did block light & noise. Our view looked over rooftops of buildings which was interesting The shower was perfect & roomy ,no issues with water running hot then cold. TV ,kettle,ironing board , hairdryer in room. Downstairs a beautiful lounge area to relax with choices of seating & tasteful lighting In the morning breakfast was everything you want it to be & more. I especially liked the waffle machine. Thomas was making sure food was replenished when it was running low. I would go as far it's the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. Definitely recommend this hotel

D. J.Wonderful place is just first time isn't. Reception was excellent thought, bedroom amazing. Bed was great comfort, but is feathers pillows no good comfort to sleep. Due to allergy health safety by NHS. I put a lot of towels onto the pillow, then let sleepwell. But is too late to asked reception to call it is. The next morning, I made my own food... I cannot feel amazing this place isn't! I trust be return again sometime. That's lovely hotel. What a die for!... (Oh dear!!!) 😄👍
H. S.I used a £25 voucher which allowed £50 towards the menu and this allowed one starter, 3 mains, 3 drinks and one dessert. Service was excellent and friendly. Andrew is a credit to his profession and even gave us a colouring in pack to keep my toddler occupied. Will glady revisit.

I.First off let me commend Andy/Andrew on his outstanding customer service. Nothing was ever too much trouble for this guy and he like to see the customers happy. Cleanliness is amazing staff are constantly at it. HOT BREAKFAST YES. Selected the night before what I wanted and a time slot and it was delivered to the room. There was no remote in my room but no biggy as I have an app. Also used my wireless key that worked a treat. Thank you to all the staff. I'll be staying here from now on when I travel for work. 5 STARS thoroughly deserved.

They googled and checked the height of the nearby car parks until we found one that was suitable. Throughout our stay the staff where helpful and attentive. m. m.Great hotel. The rooms are just what you need with a comfortable bed, sockets in the right places, great bathroom. The staff are helpful. My only gripe would be the lack of onsite parking facilities, hence 4 instead of 5 stars. The hotel does offer discounted parking at the carpark across the street (£19), but that's still money onto what you're already paying.

R. M.I stayed here with my husband after attending a concert at the 02 ABC so the hotel was in a great location and within walking distance. This was our first time at the hotel and we were very impressed. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and had modern nice decor. The hotel has a bar. Breakfast is included with your stay and was great. Its a buffet style breakfast & there is a good selection of hot and cold drinks and continental and hot breakfast choices. There's even a waffle maker to make your own waffles. We will definitely be staying at this hotel again.

The room was very comfortable, bathroom had a nice shower, had a great night sleep in the bed and the room (5th floor) was quiet. A few street noises but it’s the city centre so that’s normalThe mattress is hard but I like that and find most hotels mattresses much to soft. So this was a nice change.
The breakfast that was included was really nice! I was expecting s very limited offering as it was included but there was plenty of choice, to cover all tastes of breakfast and the make your own waffle a fun addition.
I didn’t have much contact with the the staff but what I had was friendly and professional :)
Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in Glasgow.

Location - If you are an international visitor landing at Glasgow airport, the best way to reach this hotel is to take the bus from the Airport. The hotel is @10 minute walk from the bus drop off point. Keep in mind the steep streets of Glasgow and the traffic lights, that never seem to yield for pedestrians. Also, if you are carrying luggage, best bet would be to take Uber to the hotel.
Based on the the hotel address, Google maps will take you to Campbell street, but keep in mind that the hotel entrance is on Bath street. A bit inconvenience, when you are tired after a long journey. Also, there are steps to entrance, so you might have to request the hotel to use the Campbell street entrance
The hotel is located close to a number of pubs, restaurants and cafe. Even the Buchanan street is walking distance from this hotel. During my stay, I did not use the public transit and instead walked to most of the places.
Hotel amenities - For a traveller used to North American hotels, this hotel might feel a bit "compact". The rooms are a bit small, but contains most of the facilities. The bed was comfortable. There was a bit of noise coming from other rooms, but not loud enough to disturb your sleep. The room and the bathroom felt new and very clean. The bathroom has shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, clean towels, wash cloth and napkins, and other toiletries. The room service does an excellent job in keeping the room and bathroom clean. The room had closet , hot water kettle with instant coffee, sugar and creamer, and locker. The only things missing were a fridge and microwave.
The room had a small TV and carried a number of channels. Given that its 2019 and American hotels provide much bigger TV with better picture and sound quality, the quality of TV provided a hotel wasn't up to the mark. A bit nitpicking here - Scotland is a different country from England, and I was disappointed that none of the channels carried the Cricket World Cup broadcast.
I got a room that was facing away from the road and onto the hotel rear. Not a great view. Also, the window was far from bed and hence the room was not very bright. But not a major inconvenience.
Service - the front desk staff was courteous and friendly. My check-in time was 3 PM. But I reached early, and after a brief wait in the lobby, I was given a room.
Breakfast area - Breakfast was included in my offer. The breakfast buffet was standard fare - similar to what you would see in a North American hotel. The breakfast area was busy in morning, but there were enough seats in the breakfast area as well as near the front desk.
The hotel does not provide room service. The room staff never left enough sugar for coffee, and I had to go downstairs to get sugar everyday. Wish, the staff was considerate with sugar packets.
Overall, a pleasant stay with no major complaints.

Location couldn't really be any better. Hotel is clean, modern, well stocked, spacious and comfortable.
The best part? The staff: 100%. As a frequent business traveller their friendliness, professionalism and efficiency is rare. Of particular note was the bearded waiter, who noticed I popped out to move my car and kindly offered to reheat my meal upon my return, before later considerately asking guests if it was okay for him to clear away breakfast buffet items 15 minutes after breakfast officially ceased, rather than just doing clearing items away as most would.
Small touches all round lead to a very positive customer experience all round. I would recommend this hotel wholeheartedly.

Ate out in the evening, but the buffet breakfast was absolutely fine. Overall, a clean, comfortable good value hotel that is well located. Very likely to return.

A. A.Excellent hotel - lovely staff and great rooms! Loved my room at the Hampton - city center is literally only minutes away - major train stations such as Charing Cross, Central and Queen Street all less than ten minute walk - conveniently located. Great restaurants and bars nearby ( but those are everywhere in wonderful Glasgow). Rooms actually have real soundproof windows. You do hear your neighbors bang their doors when they come home at night - but that is the problem of disrespectful guests and there is nothing the hotel can do. Breakfast is sufficient and thus great - with soy milk, a waffle maker, fruit, cereal and toast and English breakfast with scrambled eggs, beans and even haggis - as well as coffee and tea - a good start into the day - excellent. Amenities in the bathroom are great smelling body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner - all you need. Plus coffee and tea, kettle, ironing board with iron are in the room - excellent again - and coffee and tea are actually filled up every day - so really good cleaning and service. As hard as I looked could not find anything to complain about - and that does mean a lot" So five stars for this lovely place.
D. M.Really good clean hotel. Basic and a bit beige overload in the rooms colour wise but good price point. Breakfast was very good with scrambled eggs, beans, hash browns, sausages, bacon and black pudding. Only problem with this hotel is its location as it is uphill to get there when you have been in the city centre.
C. E.Stayed here after a wedding in Glasgow. Hotel was superb, staff friendly and rooms were spacious and comfy. Breakfast was also excellent and consisted of hot buffet, continental and the signature Waffle station. Reception / food area had a nice atmosphere and buzz about it - the bar was popular! Hotel is in perfect location. Only downside if I have to pick one is that our room faced onto the local nightclub so there was a little noise which could be heard if you listened hard enough (but nothing that spoilt the stay at all!) 5* for sure.
S.Another lovely hotel under the 'Hampton by Hilton' banner. Centrally located, so no car park, but there are a few nearby, some of which the hotel will issue a discount voucher for. Breakfast was lovely. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was fantastic. Close to a lot of restaurants and shops. Within walking distance of a lot of attractions. We caught the Glasgow open top bus which took us around the places of interest in the city, and this is worthwhile

Third the fitness suite is excellent I went in there as soon as I got to the Hampton Hilton in West Campbell Street. The Room is very spacious and you don't feel closed in and the shower is good because you can wait until it's warm and the water doesn't go all over the floor. As for the bed it is so comfortable and you also get a mirror and a window and lots of lights in the Room on which you can turn on and off anytime. Over all I highly recommend to stay at the Hilton at west Campbell St for your stay give 10/10. Also there is a bar were you can order food and drink and take food away like snacks.

Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Room clean impeccable. Small fitness room has the essentials (matrix machine, treadmill, bike, set of a few dumbbells, and some floor space with mirror). Breakfast was good with a large choice available (cooked Scottish, homemade waffles, fruit, cold meats, and continental options). Location couldn’t better, away from the high street hustle but close enough to walk in. Tesco express 1 minute walk away.
