The most unique gym in London! BXR not only has great gym equipment, they also offer a great variety of classes. Also, the staff is amazing and very professional! Everyone is extremely friendly and bubbly! It’s a place definitely worth visiting!!!

I have been going to BXR and part of BXR for over 4 years. I lived in Hongkong and when I came back it was the only gym that I felt welcome in. The staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is spectacular. All the classes are delivered by professionals and you get the best possible attention from them. I would highly recommend this place for Boxing, Yoga, Climbing, Strength and conditioning and more!

I had been in search of a good boxing facility in London for ages and joining BXR allowed me to find a space where I could learn skills levels above what you get at typical boxing gyms. The trainers are extremely motivating and really want you to succeed. They push you, encourage you and become extremely invested in your fitness growth whilst feeling a sense of pride as your skills improve. BXR has become a second home to me and the sense of community and encouragement I feel from everyone around is exactly what I need to fuel my fitness goals.

One of the coolest gyms in London, this luxury members club provides some of the best workouts in town. The boxing classes are taught by professional boxers, some of whom still fight professionally! Train your boxing skills with the best, one on one or in a high energy sweatbox class. Their unrivaled strength & conditioning classes, taught by the top personal trainers in London, are attended by top models & are complemented by amazing yoga classes. For a serious sweat, you must try their versa classes for an almost club-like atmosphere to your cardio training. The location is super central, close to Marylebone High Street, the changing rooms are gorgeous & everyone’s favourite, Joe & the Juice, have a bar downstairs.

Such a great gym, it’s mainly a boxing gym but they also have boxing classes, strength and conditioning classes, yoga and Pilates, and the Versaclimbing classes which if you don’t know about, you need to, and it seems like only BXR does them, a lot more effective yet easier than spin classes, like 700+ calories + in 45 mins more effective!
And the site itself is the coolest london gym, it’s so lush, with steam room and sauna, and also the people are amazing, whole place has such good energy.
Started using the gym by myself but recently slightly injured myself, and they have a rehab team on site so had them take a look and they’ve been amazing so that was so helpful to have access to, and so moved on and got personal training to get myself back to my full working self and their coaches aren’t just coaches, they’re like elite, professional former champions elite.

By far the best gym I’ve been to! All the staff: receptionist, trainers, cleaners, etc… are super attentive and kind, they make the gym feel like a big family. They truly make everyone feel welcome and care about each member. The facilities are out of this world, they have every machine you think you need (and more), there even is a boxing ring! The group clases they offer are extremely fun and the trainers always push us to do the best we can.

How do I express how amazing BXR is? Whether it’s the lovely family feel or the luxuriously delightful facilities. I came as a boxer and left as a complete athlete. It didn’t happen over night. It took consistency with Olu and Gary but it all fell into place. I am currently enjoying the fitness lifestyle and the setup is perfect if your in a rush and need to get a solid workout in. I recommend trying the Sweat Products! You will surely enjoy the party Vibe with world class coaches!

After my shoulder injury last year whilst training in lockdown, BXR has been the perfect gym for supporting my return to exercise. The BXR Sports Injury Clinic London has meant that I can improve the strength of my shoulder whilst also focusing on my all-round physical health. Would highly recommend BXR and their clinic to anyone in a similar situation, looking to return to exercise after a sports injury.

After avoiding heavy leg training for a while due to a quad injury I sustained earlier this year I have now slowly started to reintroduce leg days into my weekly programme again with the help of BXR Sports Injury Clinic. They have been extremely crucial to my rehabilitation and have really helped me with regaining mobility and strength. Improving my boxing skills has been something I've been keen to do since the lockdown in 2020 where I got really into boxing from my home gym, so after the pandemic, I was so keen to further increase my fitness and level up my skillset! When I saw the Boxing Skills class I was beyond excited to learn about how to elevate my technique and when I say this class delivers I really mean it - it's one of the best classes i've ever done as so a huge shout to BXR for helping me level up my boxing skills🙌

Great gym without good facilities including steam room (when you’re allowed to use them again).
Staff are friendly enough but the trainers are absolutely fantastic and you will learn a lot from the technique classes that are run upstairs.
Also has a handy place to get some work done, when you’re allowed to again.

Great gym: very nice facilities and incredibly friendly staff. The gym-floor is really nicely done; it is not crowded at all and the equipment is always well organised and cleaned. The changing rooms are stunning and incredibly clean too. Lotion, gel, champu is good (Malin + Goetz). But the best part of it is the people. The people are the front desk are super nice and they really make you feel part of the community. I had some issues with my membership which was not suiting me anymore and Rui (who is the sales guy) is always happy to try to find a solution that is best for me. He really tries, which is very unique. And obviously, the workout is hard. Boxing classes are good and instructors help you improve over time. They have some discounts for people to try the classes too, which is nice.

Very unique and exciting boxing gym. Very different from other gyms you will find in London. The space is divided throughout 2 floors. Great quality and experienced coaches with many years of expertise from fighting background. Gym access it's only available for full members and classes in the lower floor from the sweat studios can be use by anyone buying on the go classes. They also offer one of London climbing classes. It's truly a great experience if you are looking for something above average.

Been here about a month and it actually is a pretty cool place. The classes are good and the gym floor itself is good especially because you don’t really have to wait to use machines as the case with a lot of other gyms.
The only problem I have though is that the music on the upper floor is so loud and that you literally can’t hear yourself or your own music while you work out - but seems to be the norm with every gym in London!

I recently joined after my previous gym closed and my trainer, Kyle, highly recommended BXR. I am very happy that I did, the gym is full of friendly and helpful staff and I find the environment supportive of a whole range of abilities from beginner to professional athletes. I have since recommended BXR to others as well. As a former amateur high altitude mountaineer, I find Kyle is the best strength and conditioning coach I have ever worked with and I love my sessions at BXR. There does seem to be something for everyone and I know my business partner really enjoys Muay Thai training with Ryan and Charlie.

North West London is a little starved of top quality gyms but this one is always spotless and the changing rooms are massive and fully stocked. Great juice bar and knowledgeable staff. I knocked one star off because it is a little bit too showy at times for me but that's really just a personal preference. The versa climb classes are awesome!

This place is amazing first time and I did the vertical climb and I have never really worked out be for but this was great they motivate you so much that u just want to push yourself to be better and they staff are so nice and polite. I visited BXR as a guest of a member and fortunately there was a space for me in the Head boxing coaches class, Gary Logan. I had an amazing time and was welcomed into the Club from the initial greeting from the receptionists to Gary Logan's class. I've been classes before but has to say, the time went so quickly and I learnt so much from Gary such a great class. The changing rooms are luxurious and caterer for the perfect chill out, after a training session. I'm definitely going to join and looking forward to introducing my friends to Gary's class and BXR. I would highly recommend a visit!!!

It really is for people who are after the next fad and not into actual boxing to get fit. OK if you join a gym or stay in a hotel based on their instagram feedback, then you will love this place. If on the other hand you look for what they actually do here then you might just pass. Andrews class was good but it was surrounded by too much hype.

It is a good gym - good location, good equipment and good music.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. Some of the cleaning staff in particular are really cool.
However, it be could be better managed. Things break and take a long time to fix - a speed bag has been out of action for a while, toilets out of order etc.
They might also do simple things to improve the user's experience (and encourage renewals) for not much money - e.g put basic wooden hangers in each locker for people that wear suits and consider turning off a loud entry alarm to the gym, which is perhaps not needed.
Potentially, people could respect the gym more as well. Equipment is left out perhaps too much. You sense some of the clientele haven't been to a true muscle gym where people put weights back and in order - 'If you can lift it, you can put it back...'.
Generally, it has a lot going for it, but there is room for improvement.

I absolutely love BXR and wish that I could go more often, I have tried all three classes and loved the boxing skills class with Tanya Morgan! she is absolutely amazing and really takes pride in motivating you to push further. I would definitely go again and would love to be a member. The facilities are clean and the juice bar is great for after a work out.

Being a big boxing and Muay Thai fan, I was immediately drawn to the concept of BXR and was blown away by not only the aesethics of the gym but by the knowledge and skill sets of the trainers. However, most importantly I found everyone very welcoming and motivational. It is definitely a must see gym.

I’ve been to BXR plenty of times. It’s high end luxury all the way so no issues with that at all!
I started to write this review in my head with 20 minutes to go to the end. Someone had just walked out (reason unknown), I wanted to leave (my glutes , abs, biceps and triceps were really upset with me) but I knew this was one one the best conditioning classes I’ve ever been to. Alex was fantastic with the set up for beginners and kept a close eye on form and progress whilst motivating the more experienced amongst us. I approached with trepidation but left elated. It sounds hard, it is challenging but by the end the sense of achievement is awesome!
Alex used the music perfectly. His selection, timing and vibes were on point, leading to that much needed boost with the final track.

Coming to this gym is a big thing for me, I have to say every single time I've been welcomed with kindness from all that I encounter. From front of house to the wonderful cleaners that keep the place looking lushious. Ticked a big one of my list by attending sweatbox with Waz. I have always had in my head that I can't do his classes, let alone boxing ! Because I'm not fit enough, because of my injuries. Well slapping those doubts away, I attended my first sweatbox and was blown away. An exceptional trainer with brilliant programming who took the time out to tweak moves to suit my body. Waz makes sure he pay attention to each attendee in his class always on the ball. If he sees anyone struggling, coming to help + hold the bag, anything to egg you on!
I felt like a million dollars after class, fully aware I looked like i was dragged through a hedge backwards... but hey I didn't care. I came to this class to remember how wonderful my body is, injuries and all.

I went to the new boxing skills & full body conditioning class at Sweat (the classes area downstairs at BXR) called Sweatbox, yesterday and it was AMAZING! Taken by Waz & Marcus, the class was exactly what it promises and they’re clearly both top class trainers. Was wicked and I would definitely recommend! I’ll be going again ASAP :)
