We stayed here a few days ago and had a fantastic break. The hotel is easy to find and has a secure car park.
The reception staff were superb, friendly professional and engaging.
Our room, 801, was a lovely size and had extensive views. The room was quiet and well designed with good lighting and socket availability.
Breakfast was great with plenty of options and nicely spaced tables.
The area was nice to walk around had easy to access to the DLR and river. A great choice for a London break.

Lovely bar. Nice room (115); very odd shape. Would use again; booked king size room but had two single beds pushed together. Bar food and service was fantastic. There’s a viewing deck on the top floor; staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Fabulous service. Minute met Dijana at Reception and her colleagues then Henry at the Bar.. all staff were fabulous. Then as for the room... wow.. what great value and one of the best beds ever slept in. Great room... this hotel you feel really well looked after every member of staff looked like they enjoyed their job and it really showed. Highly recommend if you want that bit of luxury and superb service.

We went for a very important reunion. The hotel was in a quaint location away from the craziness of the Main Street. Very clean and the main floor had the best smell.
We we’re greeted by Jan who welcomed us as if we we’re coming into his home. The other employees Dijana, Fernandez & Flavio to name a few were amazing. Personable not just because it’s part of the job but it seemed genuine from each one of them. The rooms we stayed in were clean, bed & pillows very comfortable.
Can not say enough good things about it.
Thanks for adding to an amazing vacation.

The staff was incredible! What lovely, friendly, helpful and professional people - in all areas of the hotel (bar, front desk, cleaning, restaurant). Well done and thank you!

I would have given this place 5 stars but I'm not a fan of the entrance's location.
This hotel is so peaceful. The rooms are clean and classy. The staff are helpful, welcoming, and friendly. The food is yummy.
I stayed here for one night, on my birthday. I was welcomed with a warm cookie (unfortunately I did not eat it because it was not vegan).
My room was cosy; it was clean, the shower was amazing(!); the hallways, restaurant, entrance, stairwell - everything - was spotless.
Hint: book afternoon tea here!
Staying here made me fall in love with the Doubletree franchise.

Stayed for one night as the hotel I usually book in the area was full and am now considering switching to here from now on despite being over a mile further away from my place of work.
Literally the quietest nights stay I have had in London so far. Beds were so comfortable and sheets were so soft. Food in the bar was incredible. Would absolutely recommend.

This is a great location for a small event. The room was we thing just about the right size but with lots of open space for the little ones to run around and enjoy them selves while the adults did there thing. Staff were great at helping with the surprises we had planned and we had really great service from them. May try dinner here one night to.

when I booked greenwich doubletree, I was expecting it to be located closer to the historic centre where the Cutty Sark is. in actual fact, it's closer to Deptford. Housed inside a former police station, the hotel has nine floors, as well as an observation deck.
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming on entry, and the staff were able to offer a warm welcome. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms. Inside, there is a Krups coffee machine, complimentary shortbread. the TV is a a little on the small side. for some reason it was on a separate standing unit rather than attached to the wall.
The shower had three different heads, sending water in all directions. the bed was comfortable.
The highlight of my stay was the bar. I noticed that there were plenty of locals who were drinking there, or maybe they happened to be people who had travelled specially to get there. Whatever, the Southern Mimosa was excellent. The bar even tells you how you can make it, which was a nice added touch.
The breakfast was the usual choice of continental or English. by the way, Doubletree are now offering their famous cookies on arrival again. I will use this hotel again if I need somewhere to stay in Greenwich.

This is a very well-run hotel with an exceptional service offering. I am a frequent returning guest as I am always made more than welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for the very kind and helpful staff.
C. B.
This hotel is fantastic I don’t normally write reviews but had too with this one, the staff at this hotel have been Exceptional they have gone above and beyond to make my stay comfortable! Big shout out to Jordan at front desk also! Can’t recommend enough x

A lovely hotel near to Greenwich.
Lovely food and a good breakfast. Quiet modern well appointed rooms with a decent bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Great attentive staff. Will definitely return.

Friendly staff, lovely and welcoming atmosphere for marathon runners with a selection of food & drink on the morning for everyone travelling to the start line. Earlier breakfast, room extremely comfortable. Would have given five stars but for the fact we were woken up at 7am the morning after by a VERY noisy cleaner.
S. R.
Great hotel, beautiful room, great bar area, EV charging, friendly staff, super breakfast. All in all a real experience. Will come again.
T. F.
Absolutely wonderful hotel, very close to the DLR with easy access to Greenwich, Cutty Sark and Canary Wharf. Food is reasonably priced, very tasty and value for money. Staff are fantastic, they complete the experience 100% and are ultimately the reason we’ll stay again!
T. S.
clean and nice hotel; cosy, small room (mine was single, no. 504, looking to Catherine Grove st.), reception staff could be a wee more polite and breakfast staff tend to clean your table very fast, which is kind of disturbing - otherwise decent selection of continental and English breakfast. overall satisfying, with a good balance between the price and what it offers.
T. G.
Great customer service and a lovely quiet room on the 7th floor. Room was spotless and very comfortable and in a great location. We were given a little treat for our anniversary delivered to our room which was so nice and appreciated. We will definitely be back for our next visit to Greenwich !
E. N.
Reception staff amazing. Room clean. Perfect for our short stay. Shower and a bit temperamental but we would recommend this hotel.
A. L.
Disappointed with the lack of flexibility during meals. Although there is a large breakfast selection I wasn't able to have anything other then that, no poached eggs due to Covid, really! We experienced a similar thing during dinner.
I've contacted the hotel twice since my stay regarding an item I left behind, both times I've been promised an email or phone call but have received nothing.
It's fallen way below the level of customer experience I expect from Hilton.
T. C.
Clean room. No view. Not close to theatre district which we wanted. Good breakfast. Very noisy in that the walls are very thin and you can hear all noises from outside. Shower taps very confusing. Glass doors to shower room very noisy and dont offer much privacy.
L.
Fabulous! My favourite hotel room to date. We had a room on the 9th floor with stunning views. Great room facilities felt really premium. We were looked after very well by all the friendly staff especially Angelika.
Would definitely recommend! Couldn't fault the hotel even has an ice machine. Fingers crossed the general Hilton Covid policy will relax soon to bring back china cups and spoons! A very enjoyable stay.
L. C.
Not a bad hotel, needs a bit of maintenance in some areas. Cracks in shower basin. The sill in the bathroom is laminated with wood, due to age and I guess steam or water damage it's peeling and cracking a little bit. Entrance doors are heavy and stiff so bit of a struggle when entering with your luggage. Staff were friendly encounters, respected social distancing. Beds were comfy. Had a twin room but beds were cms close together, might as well have been a double bed. Decor and aesthetic needs updating, it's a weird mixtures of themes. White marble tile bathroom, but areas where your met with dark brown woods and magnolia. Red and gray velor/velvet furniture but blue neon lighting on reception desks. Impressive building but interior design needs some work. Although, I did appreciate the christmas decor 🎄 Enjoyed breakfast, impressive orange juicer machine, don't encounter them very often. Fresh watermelon 🍉, cute pancake machine and good selection of cereals. The only main negative was finding strands and knots of straight hair in the shower when we checked in, (my friend and I have afro hair and current styled in locs so I can assure it weren't ours 😅) Overall, it was decent stay .
C. B.
Lovely comfortable hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Superb breakfast choice & comfortable rooms..... what else could you ask for?
C. N.
Lovely hotel staff are great rooms are clean and food is nice great building with history

I didn't get the chance to stay at this hotel, however the night staff - Adrian and Fai - were unbelievably lovely and helpful towards my partner and I during a difficult situation. If the hotel facilities are anything like them then I can't recommend enough!
A. T.
We booked last minute and were really happy. Quiet location, nice bar and the staff were really nice. The room was nice, clean and everything in it, but just a little small. Would stay again but maybe ask for a different room.
n.
Nice hotel, polite staff. Rooms decent size and bathroom modern and stylish.
S. M.
Hotel lovely, very friendly staff and delicious food especially the Thai green curry. However the room we stayed in was what felt like in the basement across from the kitchen with a view from the window being an old brick wall and the bed very sqeaky with the slightest movement. Could do with settings on the shower so you don't feel like you've just done a round with Anthony Joshua. Other than the room very lovely weekend away.
R. A.
Amazing bar, great breakfast.
Views across to Docklands and the city are spectacular but you must be on the 8th or 9th floor to get the best of them.
Well positioned for Greenwich and the East End.
V. W.
Beautiful and spotless hotel with modern and comfortable rooms. Super-quiet -- noticed no noise from outside or surrounding rooms. Very convenient and walking distance to sight-seeing in Greenwich and just steps away from the Overground connecting you to the city. Good, cooked-to-order breakfast. Hotel has noted for guests when traffic at breakfast could be heavy, and encourages guests to visit at quiet time to ensure social distancing.
D.
Very pleasant and well placed hotel. Great staff and service and easy walking to Greenwich and other nearby bars and open markets.
M. D.
Lovely staff clean rooms customer service was excellent jan at desk was brilliant polite helpful
G. J.
Had a good stay, room very spacious and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, short walk to DLR. Breakfast a bit pricey, but you don't have to have it🤷♂️
J. C.
Stayed here for one night in April 2021. Had a bit of an issue with the room being ready, even though I arrived at 8pm, my room had been sanitised but needed to be confirmed. They managed very well though I got a drinks voucher from reception for the bar area. Had access to my room 20mins later.
S. M.
Excellent location. Staff lovely, breakfast fabulous. Liked the late check out. Great hotel overall.
D. D.
This hotel is fabulous the decor is very tasteful and glamorous.
It looked newly decorated the carpets felt new too
The room was small but adequate and very nice it had everything you need. Especially the pillows they were so comfy.
My bathroom was huge extremely clean new and beautiful. The bath was enormous and we had Jack and Jill basins. It felt 5 star.
I will definitely stay there again look forward to my next stay.
The staff very friendly and helpful
I would recommend you book early to park though as thay have a very small car park so space is limited. We had to find elsewhere to park which was inconvenient and costly.

Everything about this place is the Staff 5 * service they are so Welcoming l love staying here and the and the ambience is great. Thank you you all a wonderful team that makes this place Special.. Can't wait to return..
S. J.
Overall tidy and clean. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. All covid measures still in place. Only issue was that room service for drinks was not room service. We ordered and then was told to come and collect them from the bar, felt that we could have just gone to the bar initially if we had been told.
D. R.
This is a good hotel, nicely appointed, great breakfast with professional and lovely staff, on our visit. A room mix up on arrival loses the fifth star.
K. B.
Spent a few days here as our base for a London visit. Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Easy stroll to Greenwich centre.
V. C.
A lovely hotel, with great friendly, professional staff. Rooms cleaned to a high standard. Food (breakfast and dinner) is good quality and very tasty. Only down side is £20 charge per night to park your car in their car park.
T. K.
Had a lovely time. Good standards of hygiene and room standard for price. Very helpful with balloons for a birthday putting in our room pre-arrival which I had dropped off the day before. Also lovely surprise selection of cheesecake by hotel assistant Romy. Thankyou. Only downside parking is not existent or 20 per night and no mini fridge. Stayed for 2 nights.
E. M.
Efficiently run accommodation with large rooms - really quiet as ours overlooked a small adjacent park. Good standard of cleanliness and extra large comfortable bed. Perhaps the parking charge at £20 p.n. is on the high side but the facility felt very secure.
G. P.
A well appointed, well decorated, and comfortable property with excellent WiFi and a very comfortable bar area. Well serviced by black cabs and a nice green area right outside the door (to the left - use the ashtrays!). I enjoyed my stay. Would recommend.
I returned from a meeting in the city late (2330) and had not eaten. There was a very limited room service menu available but I understand that this was a temporary issue. However I was then given my choice from the limited menu for free. Very impressed and super-nice touch by the manager. Well played Sir / Madam! Negative into a Positive
D. F.
Excellent hotel in a great location. Very friendly and helpful staff, great breakfast and clean rooms!
J. R.
Super comfy bed, lovely staff and great location. Will definitely be back 🙂
A. C.
The hotel felt well presented - and a bit of colour and comfort in the rooms. The room was compact but managed a desk and two chairs plus an additonal table and soft stool. Ours was very clean on arrival and housekeeping was efficient at keeping it tidy and clean during our stay. The weather was hot and the aircon worked well. The top floor rooms have floor to ceiling windows with a view towards the city.
Front desk and other staff we encountered were courteous and helpful.
A slight negative - the en-suite bathrooms use frosted glass doors with lettering as decor. It looks fine in photographs - but in practice the frosting isn't quite opaque enough if anybody is immediately outside the bathroom area when it is occupied.
The hotel is located a short walk from the Deptford DLR and about 10 to 12 minutes walk from Greenwich rail and DLR station. We found there are trains every 10 or 20 minutes from Greenwich to London Bridge - and only take 13 minutes to get into London. This meant it was more convenient to get into to London than we had expected.
R. T.
Room was everything you could want, aircon, brill shower, comfy bed and everything else. Just a couple of minitues walk off the main road through Greenwich. The only thing I could put them down for was the pillows wasn't terrible but I'm all honesty I should have probably just asked as the staff where amazing and very kind.
M. O.
Some really nice rooms.... And some very small rooms also.. But great location
J. “. S.
Just arrived, very nice room clean and bright, all hilton are the same really, done Vegas hilton. Air con great as one can't open 🔓 the window, health and safety. Quiet secluded spot not on the main Rd thankfully, like the budget hotels.. This was a little less than the budget hotels, but I did book months ago, wise move Mr sigsworth. Indeed. Staff very professional as always at hilton establishments.be careful of the square shower head as you walk in in your 6ft tall, it nearly took my eye 👁🗨 out... Beware.
J. C.
Our visit was okay. We booked in advance but due to there being a wedding, we were allocated a different room; which was basically in the basement! And the AC was making loud dripping noises all night. Also the bathroom door was transculent & right opposite the bed, if alone that's fine but as a new couple, it was abit much being able to see your significant other on the loo.
A. L.
Very confertable stay, Hygiene policies are in place. Very much responsive and helpful staff and full range English breakfast. Parking is limited and expensive but thats how it is in most places in London. Booking arrangements were made by Dealvacation India.
J. W.
Service very good. Pleasant people. Clean. Room was a bit small and the breakfast quality wasn't as good as usual Hilton breakfast.
M. H.
Great Hotel in a quiet location with easy access to transport links & Greenwich main attractions. Polite & courteous staff. Comfortable rooms. Would recommend.
b.
14 days after my stay and I'm STILL awaiting my £50 deposit back.
Not usual hotel behaviour to take £50 from you in yjis manner and to wait over 2 weeks to get it back is unacceptable.
Review upped to 3 stars as money finally returned.
S. A.
In overall it's alright for the price.
Breakfast isn't worth it from my point of view, basic and plain.
Restaurant is traditional but food it's okay. Where I recommend the veggie wrap and fruit salad.
Gym it's small however always empty and perfect to do any work out.
Reception always helpful.
Rooms are small even the upgrade ones.e
V. B.
Celebrated an 80th Birthday there and found the service excellent. All staff were friendly polite and professional. Would highly recommend it.

After having our wedding cancelled last year and subsequently a trip to New York we chose to reschedule everything, stay home, visit Greenwich and stay in a really nice hotel close to all that this vibrant London district has to offer. We weren't disappointed and cant wait to return. Thank you so much Double Tree
E. A.
Stayed on the 9th floor and enjoyed the views from here. Could see a lot of London from the bedroom. High glass walls allowing beautiful views in the morning and evening. The room itself was a very good size, lots of space and a large bed. The reception was quick to action requests and the staff were very helpful generally speaking.
We had breakfast in the hotel. Very nice display of options for breakfast.
We also had dinner in the restaurant and that was also very nice.
We had a good night's rest every night. Will use the hotel again.
a. M.
Lovely establishment. Enjoyed my stay.
A. C.
We booked a king suite as I had some work to do and wanted a bit more space to relax. The room itself was nice, high ceilings, bed was comfortable. In room technology was fine, touch sensitive switches however the TV was pretty dated, not sure if this is an issue in all rooms or just this suite. The bathroom could use some attention shower door was very stiff, the wood around the mirror was bit rotten from the steam and you could see where it looked like it had been glued back on. The lower shelf has significant water damage from the shower. The most disappointing thing was that we arrived, I went to put some drinks in the fridge and there were two half empty water bottles. Given the current COVID situation and the emphasis on their cleaning regime it was concerning to see the fridge had clearly been overlooked. The lady on the front desk was helpful and came to clean the fridge, very apologetic and professional. Given I've been shielding for 130 days it was quite concerning. I assume house keeping has a checklist for every room and makes me wonder what else might be missed.
It was overall an ok stay but the main issues being the bathroom needing some maintenance, replacement, no TV guide and the uncleaned fridge I left disappointed.
P. H.
Very nice hotel in good location
The only negative is that they have misspelt Chelsea on their history of Greenwich which is etched on the shower screen - didn't bother me but could cause issues if the Grammar Police ever stopped there.
I. J.
It is a nice hotel, the room is decent- very well cleaned, bed is comfortable, bathroom doors are quite cool and there are two comfortable, velvet covered chairs in the room, which is a nice touch. However the TV is dated (don't expect to stream Netflix on there or Miracast it) and there is no fridge, which is very strange to me in a 4* hotel.
Staff are very friendly and helpful most of the time, and the cleaning staff did a great job when servicing the room. There was one problem however when I tried to.call room service several times, there was no answer and I had to go down to reception. The staff member said he had recieved no calls from my room which was strange.
The bar and breakfast area are very well designed, however this is where the biggest issue comes in- breakfast. Do not pay for breakfast at any cost. For £25 you get the most meagre breakfast with tiny portions of food. The second day I had to request double portions and even then they still put barely enough to fill you up. Even my orange juice was in this bizarre tiny cup, and I had to request two. And the biggest offence is the continental breakfast. I ordered just the continental on the first day and received a croissant, a pain au chocolate and muffin sealed in a bag with a very long sell by date. For £14 (the price of just the continental) the very least you expect is fresh croissants. You can get fresh croissants from Tesco Bakery for a £1, I should've just gone there for breakfast. Very poor on their part, if they can't give a proper breakfast due to COVID19, understandable, but don't keep charging extortionate prices for nothing.
All in all, a good hotel, would stay again as is in a good area, comfortable and staff were great. But avoid, avoid, avoid getting breakfast there as it is a huge RIP-off.
D. E.
Lovely hotel. Friendly, helpful staff who were able to accommodate our needs. Especially appreciated as we had two very young children with us. Spotlessly clean and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast.
K. W.
Really nice hotel, were given warm cookies on arrival which were great! Room wasn't small and the bed was rather large, felt as if I could get lost in it! Didn't try the drinks or food as was just using as a room for the night, but if I was staying for longer would have definitely tried both, as restaurant/bar area looked really nice. Hotel staff were friendly and pleasant, overall a great place to stay
A. G.
Quick stop in the bar to meet colleagues. Nice atmosphere. Hopefully some 0% options on the next visit
J. F.
The hotel and staff were great. We had a very comfortable overnight stay.
G. B.
Hotel clean, was given an upgrade as a diamond member. Breakfast decent, service a bit hit and miss sadly, some staff very friendly, others quite sullen.
M. C.
The hotel is spotless and beds very comfortable. Great atmosphere & fab breakfast. The staff couldn't be nicer we were greeted on arrival with warm cookies and treated like VIPs for the whole if our stay. Can't recommend highly enough
I. C.
That's a nice place to stay. The room was quiet, clean, not very spacious like it seams in the photos, but it is ok. The stuff was great. Unfortunately a part from exterior was under reconstruction, but except the visible side, there wasn't any other problem because of that. The food was good as well, not plenty of selections, but you can choose something that you will like.
A. C.
Super clean and comfy room, friendly, helpful staff. I came to London from a tiny village, so the underground/ public transport system was really stressful for me. Not only did they offer me a great place to stay, they cheerfully helped me to figure out how to get to my destination every morning, and they gave me a cheerful welcome when I came in from the fray every night. The bar/ restaurant is comfortable and offers good food. The bar offers a heretical version of a Guinness, but who cares?
T. F.
We were greeted by a very nice young man who welcomed us and helped us find a nice restaurant for the evening. We were then taken to our room on the first floor which was very clean and nice. However, it was a bit noisy during the night. So in the morning I went to the reception and explained the situation and the gentleman was very understanding and helped us have a better stay by moving us to another room on a higher floor. I definetly slept better after that. All in all, our stay was excellent and Greenwich is a really nice neighbourhood and not too far away from the city.
S. H.
Can not rave enough about this hotel! My partner was staying there for a week for work, I wanted to surprise him and Jeremy from management was quick to reply and had no hesitation to provide goodies and a note. My partner could not say enough good things about this hotel from the breakfast, amenities and location. Highly recommend! Thank you DT and especially Jeremy!
S. B.
Really nice hotel. Staff are friendly. It can be quiet at times which is lovely. Bed was comfortable and really big. Views from the 9th floor look good at night and at sunrise. Decor was lovely around Christmas. Only downfall was the lamb shank I ordered it was very bland and looked as if it had been previously cooked then microwaved to heat up.
G. W.
The room we had was fairly small, and the bathroom door was glass and painted opaque which was really odd, you could see the person you were sharing with sitting on the toilet.
The staff were really nice, however the shower unfortunately was cold after 4 minutes of hot water.
Not my favourite of the Hilton's.

Stayed here short notice prior to a flight.
On arrival, it’s a nice quiet area (in London terms), the receptionist was very welcoming and very helpful and answered all of my questions.
She drew me a map of local amenities and advised different methods of travel to get to the airport on time for my flights.
I got the usual spin of the wheel and won some points. Then I went to my room, which was modern, very comfortable and had all the things you could need to stay.
The only thing that may bother some people is that the room I had wasn’t that big, but as there was only me for one night, it was more than enough
C. H.
Had a brilliant stay here. The service from the moment we walked in was great; the warm cookie on checking in is a nice touch, the room was very clean and tidy. The bed was beautifully comfortable and the curtains kept the light out in the morning allowing a lie in.
Good location, tucked off the main road. We even won two free cocktails at the bar on the spinning wheel as we checked in.
d. y.
Rooms were clean and well equipped. The view from rm 904 was amazing. The food was amazing. I had the wings and steak and they were both delicious. I had an awesome 9 days and will definitely stay there again.
F. N.
Clean and big rooms, no executive lounge. The staff is the kindest and most natural I've found in a hotel yet. After months staying at this hotel I can say that they're really helpful not just out of obligation, but because they care. I've received an amazing and personalised treatment during that time.
M. B.
This place was truly a luxurious experience, toddler friendly and really accommodating. The food was really good when our group couldn't finish the afternoon tea they wrapped it up and put it in bags to take home! We were unable to make our reservation and they fit us in when we did arrive. We suggest public transport as while there is parking on street is £1 for 20 minutes and we ended up staying over 2 hours!
b. l.
Our stay was short but wonderful! The staff was so helpful and Abu was one of our servers! He went out of his way to get me what I needed! Thank you so much- if you find yourself in London this is a great place to hang your hat!
I. D.
Beautiful, clean, central, but no fridges in the room
I. P.
Staff are really polite, respectful and very helpful.
Good food and room is clean and comfortable

We had such a wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton London Greenwich. Our check in was smooth and painless and they offered us a warm welcome. We ordered room service which was prompt and delicious. The next morning, we enjoyed the amazing breakfast they offer. Upon checking out, they helped give us many options for how best to use the underground to get to the airport. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. We were sad not to stay longer!
K. K.
The building has been converted wonderfully through a chic, modern decor. Staff were efficient, knowledgeable and polite. The hotel room was stylish and elegant, very cosy. Amazing touch by adding in a glass viewing floor on the top two floors. Gym is sufficient so is the breakfast. The bar is reasonably priced. Only downside is the area which I hear isn't the nicest but I had no problems. Would recommend.
K. J.
An absolutely amazing hotel for the price we paid for it. The room is just what we expected with lovely added extras, the staff were very attentive and friendly from check in to check out. Overall the hotel is extremely quiet so very easy to sleep, it's incredibly maintained and has very easy access routes into central London via DLR. Would have loved to experience the restaurant and bar but will be returning later into the year hopefully and will sit down for an afternoon tea.
G. S.
Nice hotel and bar. Staff were very good, professional and extremely helpful.
Room was ok but very noisy in the morning and the glass bathroom door, even with frosting feels not quite private enough.
C. M.
Getting to the hotel is a tad unusual as it is based in a residential area. You'd be mistaken in thinking you are lost! We prebooked parking at a cost of £20 for a night, which I think is reasonable. The parking has a private metal automated gate and felt extremely safe once inside. There's even a separate entrance with red carpet, which is a lovely touch.
We stayed here for our wedding anniversary and the staff we dealt with were very polite, courteous and accommodating.
The room itself was slightly underwhelming as it was on the small side, but all could be forgiven when I saw the effort they had made for our anniversary!
We also had a chicken wings starter and a sharing platter of breads, both were surprisingly large, tasty and very good value! We also won 2 House cocktails on the roulette wheel near reception as Hilton Honors members, which is a fantastic touch.
A very nice stay, I'd rate it as 4.5 but have put 5 instead as there's no option.
Special thank you to both Arshad and Romy who were very helpful and went above and beyond!
G. A.
Beds were quite hard. When I mentioned it I was informed that they did have mattress toppers. That could have been mentioned at check in. First room we were allocated smelt of cigarette smoke. We were given a new room.
D. B.
Beware their policy of adding £50 to your bill when you arrive and then being slow to refund it.
J. H.
Lovely hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Room was impeccable, clean and well maintained. Lovely large headed shower. Full length mirrors in the room, which is always a plus for me! There is a fitness centre on site which is open 24 hours, but be warned there's not a lot in here, but decent enough for a couple nights stay.. some dumbbells, mats, treadmill etc. The bonus with a doubletree is you always get a cookie on arrival!! 👍🏻
J. S.
Stayed here one night each
before & after a coach tour departing from Greenwich station . Both visits staff was friendly and accomodating. Hotel was 'fancy' compared to what we are used to. Rooms were very nice and comfortable beds. Our 2nd stay the staff left us 2 delicious cupcakes to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary. Very thoughtful and much appreciated! Only had breakfast one day due to early start, but it was good, plenty to choose from.
M. G.
Although it was a quick stay it was a pleasant one.
The room, although a bit small was well presented, modern and clean. This certainly isn't a budget hotel. A warm cookie on arrival and a nicely air conditioned room to walk into was marvellous.
I didn't visit the bar or restaurant but they looked really very stylish, I'm coming back in a month so will try them both then.
Fully equipped gym and bookable parking on site.
It would have been 5 stars but the £20 per day parking charge was a bit steep and the shaver socket didn't work but I will them know before I leave.
E. R. S.
Recommended for short stay in London. Great location!
J. J.
Loses points for bizarre room setup with fake pillar at the foot of the bed and dirt build up in the bathroom and a very average breakfast that's not worth the money the staff however are very helpful
P. S.
Nice hotel situated in a quiet area between the A206 and A2. Parking is secured, monitored and better to reserve with room reservation. Street parking is possible but expensive and the Traffic Wardens very vigilant. Rooms and beds comfortable. Breakfast good but a bit expensive. Nice bar area.
R. W.
Gorgeous hotel, stunning inside and out, professional, friendly and helpful staff throughout.
c. h.
Fantastic hotel. In a quiet corner of Greenwich. Close to lots of great stuff. Very nice hotel. I've been a gold honors member a while and this location made me feel very welcome. Had a welcome sign, shot of Bailey's, some coupons, etc. If I come back to London, I'll def keep this location in mind.
C. G.
Nice hotel, bar area was lovely. Crushed velvet seats and alot of chrome. Modern and very comfortable. It invited you in for a drink! Rooms were of a high standard and modern decor, and updated fairly recently. Staff were helpful and friendly. It was quiet in thw room we had as well no traffic noise. I would definitely stay there again!
P. C.
Could not fault this hotel. Single room had a good sized bed, excellent layout with good facilities to work if required. Bathroom was very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again
E. S.
Beautiful hotel on a little quiet street. Lovely staff. Will definitely stay again x
S. G.
Called in for lunch. Had a club sandwich served with fries. The portion was absolutely massive, half a sandwich would have sufficed. It wasn’t bad, but they’d benefit from more of a quality over quantity approach
The bar/restaurant badly needs a renovation.
s. E.
Single occupancy room is so claustrophobic. I should have properly read the size while booking. You could get a better room locally for the price. A double bed is too big for it and they also put a desk and a tv hanging from ceiling at head height. I’m sure the other rooms are nice as the hotel is lovely but those rooms are really cramped.
A. N.
Couldn't fault this lovely hotel . Jonathan on the front desk was great . Lovely friendly staff . Wasn't convinced about the sliding glass bathroom door but hey it was different . Great views of the city from the upper floors shame the "viewing deck" didn't seem to be available - on demand ??? We were on the sixth floor. Book the hotel parking if your driving but very handy for DLR , buses , Thames clipper. Couldn't quite place the decor style prob art deco meets the seventies ha.
J. W.
Very good service and friendly staff, good value for money. Rooms are pretty small but well equipped. I spent there 3 nights and see only 2 disadvantages: glass bathroom door and no breakfast variety (every day same food). Very good hotel location close to DLR station and Canary Wharf business center.
E. W.
Excellent standard and good value for money. Staff attentive and professional. Quiet location .Would use again
S. g.
My go-to hotel whenever I am in Greenwich , the staff are always friendly and happy to help.
T. J.
Lovely hotel, made to feel very welcome. Exceptionally clean and luxurious!
J.
Fabulous lication .rooms super modern & clean .staff are anazing nithing is a problem. Room service offer full menu from resturant which is fantastic .will defiantly visit this hotel again .
P. H.
Great small hilton with secure parking - comparable prices with nearby premier inn / travel lodge and holiday inn. however the secure parking is the deal breaker if you are brining your own car - £20 per night though - but worth it for piece of mind.
R. H.
Great service. Facilities are a touch dated, but the experience was off the charts wonderful. Little touches like hot cocoa delivery in the evening make this great for tourists and romantic getaways alike. Cool location too.
C. A.
Staff excellent hotel generally very nice, drinks at the bar a bit pricey but...the room was very hot! Struggled to sleep and for that I was not a happy bear in the morning....😾
T. M.
I loved this hotel. The hotel is very clean although it bothered me to see some guests to eat in the spaces (living rooms) to the rooms. Approximately a ten minute walk from the hotel. I am very high recommend to everyone for the hotel Would like to say thank you very much for good service.
T. M.
The hotel is only a short walk from the Greenwich DLR Station. Room was so quiet best nights sleep for ages. The staff were friendly, very helpful & accommodating. The room we booked was a very good price. We will be back, no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
D. S.
Absolutely wonderful hotel. The staff greeting at the deak were lovely and lordy the warm cookie was divine. The beds were astonishingly comfortable and big!! A good spot by the underground but far enough away for everything. The food was spectacular and the selection for the all you can eat is by far the best most varied gathering of culinary options for breakfast that I have ever seen. The lightness and the small details in the rooms that made the stay so warm and cosy but without escaping any luxury you would expect from the Hilton name brand. The view was dampened by scaffolding for necessary repairs and with that in mind and the fact we booked so far in advance, a small compensation wouldnt have gone a miss but it didnt ruin things completely. Very happy with the stay and will definitely be going again in the future.
S. C.
Lovely hotel. Extreme care taken to ensure excellent cleanliness & a sterile room. Would definitely go again.
R. A.
From check in to check out, service was perfect. The welcome was amazing. Food and drink were top notch despite being reasonably priced. The room was great - peaceful, comfortable, slightly quirky (to get the corner view the L-Shaped room wasn't quite big enough for the bed)
B. A.
The most telling things about any business is how they handle adversity. My family and I traveled to the Double Tree in Greenwich for a short holiday during the pandemic. While some services were limited, they were still able to provide breakfast every morning, a friendly staff, and as many amenities as possible. Kudos!
D. S.
Really nicely done. Wasnt informed of the pricing on the parking the evening I arrived. It was on my bill the following day.
When paying a good price for a hotel like this, I would expect that parking would be complimentary. Something to consider.
N. C.
I'd prefer to open a window for fresh air. Couldn't work out the Aircon but they do give me sore throat so prob best. Great location. Huge comfy bed. Nice breakfast.
D. G.
Very nice hotel. Lovely bar and service. Nice rooms although can hear people in next room rather clearly. Other than that a really nice hotel.
T. M.
I attended afternoon tea with my mother at this lovely hotel. The hotel is set on a lovely side street which has no noise at all and easy access to the DLR line in a good location for Greenwich and the 02 itself. The hotel was extremely clean and tidy. Room was clean. Very good value for money.
T. M.
Great location for where I needed to be, boutique feel. A favorite is the Champagne and Fromage. The breakfast the next morning was well stocked with all the standards and they made me some porridge which was very kind. Style of hotel was good Anna and Kasia were superb staff.
M. S.
This hotel is a stunning art deco building. The staff we met were wonderful. We're all really looking forward to our upcoming stay here... Can't wait.
T. M.
Superb locations, fantastic staff and beautiful hotel. Had a fantastic 2 night stay here and they couldn't do enough for us. Will be back soon!
F. H.
My daughter and i went there today for afternoon tea and the food was lovely. My daughter wasn't charged for her juice even though it was not include in the afternoon tea. The service and staff were outstanding and made us feel very comfortable. The lounge where they served us was really cosy and beautiful. I highly recommend you to give this place a try
P. B.
Beautiful hotel in a nice area. The building is an old police headquarters and is very impressive. Staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are big and bright. Was lucky to get an upgrade due to being a Hilton Honors Gold, free cookie on arrival, complimentary mini bar and a drink at the bar. The views from the 8th/9th floors are great. Romy is also one of the most helpful and amazing staff members you'll meet. Highly recommended
M. M.
The service is really great. Staff is really kind and helpful. However some rooms have a strange and thin door dividing beds and the bathroom. Zero privacy! Good experience with the breakfast.
B. B.
A wonderful stay. There was a slight issue with the window in the room which would open and close unprompted (they're motorised and controlled from a switch, which is really cool). It wasn't too much of an issue but the hotel gifted us a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience of having the engineer up to the room, which was really appreciated and unexpected, because it really didn't inconvenience us to any real extent.
Unfortunately, the engineer was unable to rectify the issue with the window which became apparent an hour or two later. We reported it again and we changed rooms; not to another Deluxe Room, but we were upgraded to the suite. Again, this was unexpected and the fantastic staff here couldn't do enough for you. A real credit to the hotel and the Doubletree/Hilton brand as a whole.
Both our original room and the suite we were upgraded to were really beautiful and well finished, complete with espresso machines, a good selection of toiletries and really comfortable, super king sized beds. The views of both the City and Canary Wharf are really special.
The restaurant was unfortunately closed, but we did eat in the bar and the food was good.
Location isn't bad, a stone's throw from Greenwich and a minute or two walk from Deptford Bridge DLR Station, so well connected.
Overall, the hotel is lovely, but, when push comes to shove, it's the staff that really do make this hotel, especially those on reception. Next time we're stopping in London, it's likely we'll be stopping here
g.
comfortable, convenient for both attractions and transport links and good value for money
T. M.
Visited this hotel as it's in the local area and it was a good experience. Food is a 10 Room service is a 10 They have a roof top terrace you can visit but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to go up there. The hotel bar was the perfect spot for a port after a long day of touring.
I. Y.
Very friendly staff, had a lovely comfortable stay
S. O.
Warm fudgy cookie on arrival, the rooms are not the largest; but that's expected in London. The room decor is very top end. I especially like the hallway carpet. Lovely feather pillows and duvet ensures you have a splendid and comfortable sleep. All staff that I have been in contact with have been extremely polite and helpful.
J. R.
This is a wonderful renovated hotel minutes outside of central London. The rooms have been completely redone. It feels very high end for reasonable prices. The common areas are also very nicely touched up. I was very impressed with what they have done here.
Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
J. M.
Great staff and great rooms. It's a wonderful neighborhood to stay in!
V. M.
Very cosy hotel. Very friendly staff. Rooms a little on the small size but well presented and spotless. The food is very well presented and tasty too. Breakfast buffet style and plentiful. Close to 2 underground stations. Good location. We will definately be returning g.
M. D.
Small room but beautiful luxurious stylish feel to everything. Bathroom is separated from main room with froated glass decorated with key historical dates and information; modern feel, spotlessly clean and shower is great. Gorgeous!
T. M.
Every time I stay in The Greenwich Hotel I have the same feeling: That it will be amazing. The amenities were good. We got a free upgrade due to us celebrating our anniversary. The staff were very helpful on the front desk however-overall probably wouldn't use this hotel again due to all the above.
F. C.
Great little hotel in historic building. DLR station a five minute walk, National Rail 10 minutes. Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are suprisingly small for a hotel outside the City, but bathroom did have rain shower. Breakfast buffet was better than expected.
J. C.
Nice hotel but in a slightly awkward location.. staff are great though and the gentleman who welcomes you into the hotel is amazing! Offering assistance and soft drinks! I've not had that treatment at any other Hiltons in London!
T. M.
The train station is a short walk from the hotel. There is car parking available but we were too late to reserve a space. The breakfast was wonderful with their very own pancake maker. Perfect to stay when from a night out with the friends not overly priced pretty reasonable.
B.
Nice hotel, very friendly and efficient staff. Only downside is the parking. Parking has to be pre booked with a £15 charge which we were not told about prior to checking in.
Hotel bar also closed early and would not provide after hours service.
B. L.
Currently staying here brilliant so far not a bad word to say room is lovely and the staff are very professional and will do anything to help will be certainly coming back made mine and my girlfriends first trip away amazing cant thank them enough.
T. L.
Nice rooms, but London small, and public spaces. Appreciate that the hotel had a room made up for me early when I arrived mid-morning. And complimentary drink while I waited. Asst mgr(?) Julian (I think) was most helpful, thanks.
B. o.
Nice location, very neat hotel, food was great, hotel staff were very friendly. Nice concept of bar and restaurant in the hotel. The only downside is that the rooms are small. But I would definitely stay there again when next in London
A.
Nice hotel to base your stay in Greenwich and London more broadly - thanks to the hotel’s strong transport links. You have the DLR, Greenwich rail station and local buses which you could use to connect for the Underground from North Greenwich.
The rooms and bed are comfortable with all that you need. The hotel is not overly expensive and is certainly very well priced for the location.
If you want parking then there is a private car park charged at £20/night and you must book in advance to avoid disappointment.
Staff are accommodating + friendly and they greet you with the famed DoubleTree cookies upon checkin. I shouldn’t say this, but we asked for two more rounds of cookies during our stay and staff were happy to offer these 👍 so ask for more if you love them like we did...
P.
We had afternoon tea for four which was very nice. The restaurant and bar area is really lovely and the service was excellent. Kieran, one of the waiters who served us was extremely attentive, polite with a wonderful sense of humour. He is an asset.
Thank you for a lovely afternoon
D. W.
Pretty nice. Walls are a bit thin(at least in the room I stayed in) and I heard every movie of the neighbouring room. Overall nicely laid out inside.
C. F.
Only popped in to check it out for visiting family as we live in the area, which is quiet, leafy, and residential but with good transport links. The bar and restaurant seemed well appointed, and the rooms of a good standard (if small, but not unusually so for London). Staff i met were very attentive and informative.
k. h.
Pleasant staff all through from reception and other areas!!! Love the welcome chocolate chip cookies you receive at check-in which is warm and gooey... I enjoyed my stay there truly...
L. H.
Very nice hotel. Staff very attentive. Rooms good. Restaurant very nice but has a limited menu which is also available for room service. Decor of all hotel up market.... Nice.
M. M.
Good Hotel with a nice bar
P. M.
I like this Doubletree, small hotel, very modern rooms lots of glass and chrome and mirrors. USB plugs next to the bed sadly didnt work, and no normal plugs there.
Bar is cosy, resturant below the bar is cosy too. Friendly staff. As a diamond Hilton member I asked for a late check out, was told due to the room type, only an hour extra was possible, which I thought was strange! I would stay there again, just one or two little changes would get them 5stars.
B. R.
Loved staying at this very modern and nice hotel. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with very friendly staff and smiles. The lounge is fantastic with the nicest servers around. Halil and Arnaud are 2 of the servers we had and they were great. Arnaud makes the BEST mojitos I have ever had!! Our room was small but perfect for my 18 year old daughter and me. The beds were super comfortable and the aircondiioned room was great. If you want to do a tour or book tickets ask the front desk cause they can probably book it cheaper for you than you could yourself.i highly recommend this hotel!! Iwe were made to feel like we were right at home here. My only tip would be to ask front desk how to work the shower . Lol. Thanks for a great stay to all the wonderful staff!!
A. W.
This hotel is gorgeous we have had afternoon tea here on several occasions but this time it was a surprise for our daughters 30th birthday, I asked if they could add a little something extra and they brought out a plate with happy birthday written on it two cup cakes and two raspberries, I was really impressed, the service and staff were excellent as always and our daughter was blown away by the quality of the afternoon tea and the decor of the hotel. Well done Double Tree and thank you.
J. C.
Newly renovated, has a great view on top floors. Close to Greenwich within walking distance. In a very quiet residential area also near DLR station therefore great location. Breakfast is compact and nice selection with good service. Nice choice of stay in East London.
D. B.
Lovely friendly staff. Excellent fit and finish to rooms and public areas. Easy access to buses and trains into London. Warm cookies on arrival are always welcome.
D. J.
One of the top best affordable luxury hotels, around Lewisham.
I remember free hot cookies every morning, to start your day with.
Customer service is exceptional !
K. F.
Beautiful hotel, fantastic service, parking is limited and a little pricey but got a great deal on the room so that made up for it. Really good location if you need to be near Greenwich.
P. P.
Nice rooms , great bar and staff!
T. M.
The hotel was situated with restaurants shopping cinema and walking distance to O2, trains and jubilee line. We were told to take a seat in the bar and we would be updated with exactly how long until our room would be ready. I was impressed with the vegetarian options and my fiancé loved the meat and fish options.
F. F.
it's nice but not as fancy as you would expect
T. M.
Not the funkiest hotel in the world or the quirkiest; no gimmicks no hipsters. The hotel itself seemed quite noisey and it felt like housekeeping was hoovering right up until 19:00hrs when we left to go to the O. The rooms were very clean and tidy. Much cheaper than the west end of London.
B. F.
Very nice the rooms and service !! But maybe add small freezer and baths. I had a really good time there ! Really good breakfast and nice bar !!
T. M.
On arrival we were extremely disappointed to be told that our room was no ready, despite being able to check in from 14:00hrs. My room was a small double. We sat there chatting and catching up, not feeling rushed by the staff or being made to feel uncomfortable as some places make you feel.
G. J.
Excellent service and staff. Great choice of fresh food and drink. Breakfast is plentiful. Rooms are very comfortable
A. B. (.
I worked here as a videographer for a wedding party. The top floor with the incredible sky line view was wonderful for awesome shots, but the lack of air conditioning meant that it was basically a very pretty oven. Needs better air conditioning for all suites used for bridal parties.
T. -. P. C.
It's the perfect place if you want to visit London, staying a bit off the city centre. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are confortable and provide everything you might need. The nearest underground is 10 minutes away.
K. S.
The hotel, room, bar and breakfast were all very good. Unfortunately they lost our car park reservation, which could have been awkward if there wasn't space on the street - otherwise would be 5 stars.
S. V.
Modern look and feel inside, outside is a bit more old fashioned. Windows are small and large curtains are used to hide this from the inside. Taps in bathrooms are waterfall taps which were a bit too powerful sometimes and the stream nearly ended up out of the sink (with splashes outside of the sink happening).
D. O.
Great hotel in a very cool old building. Really nice and cosy room. Fab staff and food.
T. E.
Our family usually stay here when visiting. Very nice hotel. Can be pricey, but it's the best hotel in the area. Very nice staff too
M. H.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was lovely and clean. Would definitely stay here again!!
F. C.
Extremely comfortable rooms, tasteful decoration, clean, great quiet location, friendly and happy staff + fresh welcome cookies!
My wife and I decided to spend a night together for the first time in 3 years. Since our daughter was born we haven't been able to do so. We chose this hotel because we didnt want to spend our first night too far from her.
We have been to other Hiltons before but I can honestly say this one made our day.
Its located near Greenwich, however, the real gem for us was to discover an authentic London market, Deptford Market, with it's real finger food and buzzing with London life, worth visiting before it gets too gentrified. Greeniwich Park and a river stroll made us feel good, as expected.
We felt in love with London again!
Slept, slept and slept like never before.
Breakfast was superb and the unlikely SG electric guitar hanging from the wall of the dining room made me feel that this was not yr usual corporate Hilton...
Great Memory
A. B.
Little bit of peace and calm within a busy setting. Excellent location, walking distance to Greenwich and bus/train route to London Central. Great breakfast, warm cookies when needed and super friendly, polite staff.
W. S.
Great staff and decent location for the price. Rooms are a good size for a large european city. Lots of good food in walking distance. Short walk to the train, and plenty of Uber drivers near by.
V. F.
Lovely hotel.Very clean and accomodating.Nice and quiet, good buffet breakfast for £14 all you can eat.Tea and coffee facilities, bottled water,iron/ironing board, hairdryer, towels and cleaner in room daily with toiletries.Public transport just a few minutes walk away.Would recommend.
J. T.
Stayed here on a couple of occasions and its been great both times. Very clean throughout, fantastic value fantastic value on he rooms. Would recommend!
L. B.
Comfortable bed, nice shower, lovely decor. Good customer service. Second time of staying here although previously under Mercure. Perfect for exploring Greenwich
S. D.
We've stayed here quite regularly, both as Doubletree and when it was the Mercure before that. It's a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms, a stunning marble lobby and a large bar area with a mixture of seating available.
The rooms have a good-sized bed, the usual freeview tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Well-fitted and modern bathrooms.
There is limited parking available on-site - this needs to be booked separately. Improvements they've made since Doubletree took over have been an upgrade of the bathroom toiletries to Crabtree & Evelyn and a free warm cookie when you arrive.
The location is good with the hotel being away from the main road so there isn't any disturbance but within easy walking distance of the train station, plenty of local bars and places to eat plus a nearby Tesco and Sainsbury's. It's also quite convenient for the O2 with bus links, a relatively cheap taxi ride (approx £15) or it's walkable if you're reasonably fit.
My only grumble is about the bathroom doors. They're frosted glass with a timeline of historic events on them. One of the events has Edward III having set up a hunting lodge in a year before he was even born. Every time we go there, my other half can't help but say something about it.
R. L.
This is the most elegant DoubleTree by Hilton I’ve ever been to. The building is lovely and it’s of a very high standard. Thanks to Cheraz for making us feel welcome, and to the lovely bar staff Paola and Andreea - very much appreciated.
10* stay.
L. H.
Lovely Hotel with welcoming staff.Only let down was the parking only 10 space @£25 per night. We tried to book parking but no surprise it was fully booked.
We had to park on the street via meter @ £1 for 20minuites..
Parking restriction time Mon-Fri 9am til 17.00pm
Sat & Sun 9am til 15.00 I think..
Would book again but would leave my car at home...
s. b.
It was a wonderful stay for myself and my wife. We have no complaints.... Well except parking issues which they have for prebooking and is of course a general issue in London. Still 5 star
C. D.
Stayed here for 2 nights and hotel was really nice, relatively inexpensive and very friendly attentive staff. Rooms were well laid out - clean and well equipped . Definitely qud stay here again and recommend. Just off high street which has some nice restaurants, very close to DLR at Deptford Bridge and within walking distance Greenwich Park and Observertry
P. V.
Excellent staff at the hotel. . Right from the front office, breakfast lounge, the laundry guys, the housekeeping people are very friendly and understand what it means to be in the hospitality business.
C. S.
Breakfast is rather simple, but tasty. Rooms are a little bit small. Very good service.
A. G.
Very nice hotel with a unique style, lovely rooms and great staff. Breakfast was good in the morning as well.
A. B.
Visited for a conference. The utilitarian-style building belies the opulence of the interior. Lovely restaurants, conference space was well laid-out. Considering booking for a quick overnight escape. Very close to Greenwich market, park, Cutty Sark and a range of restaurants in the area.
T. L.
Beautiful and spacious rooms, celebrated my anniversary here and me and my partner loved it, would definitely book a room here.
C. N.
Went here for afternoon tea. Unexpectedly nice setting in Greenwich and decently priced. Food was standard for afternoon tea in London. Staff were polite and patient with a very large group and lots of kids!
T. E.
Good comfortable hotel with friendly, professional staff. The only thing that lets it down slightly is the £20 per night parking fee, other than that, I would highly recommend it.
M. W.
Very yummy, fresh and large afternoon tea. The service was exceptional. Halil and Mario exceeded our expectations and made us feel very special and cared for.
A. S.
Located a short walk from the Deptford Bridge DLR station. Friendly helpful staff at check in and breakfast. Room was well furnished and clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable, would definitely recommend.
J. M.
Today I took my friend for afternoon tea I have never been to the hotel before today. hotel with beautiful very clean the staff was very professional very welcoming afternoon tea was very lovely I would definitely go back there again but this time I take my partner for a romantic meal Jacqueline Mitchell
M. S.
First Great staff very helpfull, rooms we are staying is big and the toilets in the room are huge. Food is great. And we got cookies when we arrived :)
P. M.
Great staff, comfy room and very tasty breakfast. Hard to find fault with anything, superb!
S. V.
Lovely hotel!
Most friendly staff, parking space for £20 per night, well equipped rooms (no refrigerator!)
F. D.
This hotel is to die for. It's one of those hidden places situation in the perfect part of Greenwich/Blackheath. The restaurant is nice and cosy, food and drinks amazing and their rooms are so warm. Would definitely go back.
N. G.
Lovely, welcoming staff happy to help and make sure you enjoy your stay. Modern, comfortable rooms, good food and facilities
S. O.
Great welcome, warm cookies, fantastic room on the 9th floor, views across the city. Had drinks in the bar, comfy chairs and lovely ambiance. Only 3 min walk from Deptford station.
S. A.
Rooms ok, but whatever you do, dont have their continental breakfast its rubbish
G. S.
Fantastic hotel. Great clean rooms. Good quiet location but still near DLR. Bar staff helpful and thoughtful. Good breakfast too.
L. R. H.
Very nice hotel, shame about the new menu! I have been visiting this hotel for about two years and fell in love with it. The hotel is stylish, relaxing and a great place to chill or catch up with some work. It used to be owned by Le Mercure but was taken over by Doubletree.
The restaurant used to serve a mean steak and cheese sandwich with all the trimmings. The prawn sandwich, served in a crisp baguette was exquisite.
Visiting today, my friend and I were looking forward to indulging in a sandwich, only to be met with a new menu. The new menu, put together by a new chef leaves alot to be desired. We settled for a pastrami and chorizo sandwich and it turned out to be a flavourless soggy mess. It was more like a sandwich you'd expect to find at a petrol station.
We told the waiter serving us that we were disappointed by our lunch. He kindly offered a free dessert, which we declined.
I spoke with manager later on and informed them that the menu change was disappointing indeed
O. M. (.
The room was nice and Comfortable, a little cozy though, but it's okay for one night stay, if you were staying for longer, you may prefer a little bigger room.
R. H.
Perhaps not the best location, however it is a lot cheaper than most London hotels. It's just 5 minutes walk to the DLR then about 10 minutes to the cutty sark and the other attractions in Greenwich. About 45 minutes from central London. The Hotel has a modern interior, although the rooms are perhaps smaller than some of the other Doubletree Hotels they are comfortable and have an excellent power shower. The breakfast is really good. I received a warm welcome at the check in. The staff are all very helpful.
S. M.
Very nice sat here. Bed was comfortable and curtains blocked out the light well. Staff friendly on arrival and overall nice hotel
B. M.
Lovely staff nothing is too much trouble. Spotless. Free giant cookies. Great standard red carpet easy to find.
6. S.
Fantastic air conditioned bar and food area. This hotel has class. Professional staff every area. A great team ethos.
S. R.
Nice staff. Breakfast buffet options are good. Just 2 train stations away and about 5km distance from London Bridge I guess.
J. A. V.
Very nice hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Extensive breakfast buffet. Quality of the English breakfast could be even better to get 5 stars.
J. C.
We celebrated my daughters 13th birthday here afternoon tea with 5 of her friends. It was a wonderful experience the food was delicious and well presented. The staff were fabulous, in particular Arnald who made us feel as if nothing was too much trouble. I would certainly recommend Double Tree Hilton Greenwhich!
D. P.
Very nice hotel with great staff. With well appointed rooms and great showers. A little far from restaurants but very close to the dlr
E. A.
The hotel is beautiful, I got guest of the day and got a free cocktail, snacks and free breakfast, they made me feel very special and welcomed, lovely staff and nice experience
J. B.
The experience started on atrival, made to feel very welcome, was even given a warm cookie. All the facilities available were made known to me, location times etc. Customer service, staff, cleanliness were excellent.
S. l.
Amazing stylish hotel, great food...amazing breakfast as well as having a pancake machine which makes your pancakes in minutes!! Room service was also great! 😍

Comfortable and well appointed rooms. Tucked away and quiet, perfect for a quiet nights sleep. Friendly staff and a contemporary bar.

Lovely decor in the bar and restaurant. Friendly staff. Nice room. Would return and recommend.
R. T.
Lovely accommodation, more than ample breakfast with plenty of choice & helpful pleasant staff. 5-10 mins walk to DLR. Thumbs up would recommend.
T. M.
My friends and I went to stay here after going to a concert at the O2 and it was not only well priced but wonderful. Not too far from the station but a bit of a walk to greenwich or blackheath so do check where youre going to be throughout your stay. Great stay thank you.
J. S.
Gorgeous hotel, great views and attractive staff. Lovely place, a bit far from the town but it's nice and quiet.
A.
Jan was great. Everyone is so friendly. The rooms are very nice, love the shower.
W. H.
Great location. Would have liked swimming pool as extra. Loved staying there staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back x

Very good reception helpful very clean rooms no complaits

Greenwich is a great location if you want an alternative London visit to staying somewhere central. The hotel is situated just off Greenwich High Street. Bar prices are what you would expect in a London hotel with a pint of coke costing. I stayed midweek, but I would like to come back here for a weekend of leisure.

Great rooms. Good staff. But very rude management however. Hugely disappointed with how they dealt with my fiancé. A complaint will be filed.
D. B.
Very nice hotel . Plush and lots of helpful staff . Only complaint is the chairs screeching in the dining room when they are moved . It's very ear piercing
H. C. S.
Service was awesome. The environment was beauty and a place worth the salt.
D. P.
It was rainy and cold and I was desperate to find a hotel room after 11 pm and one was available. I would give it the highest rating. I was there from 11 pm to 5 am. No time to be picky
K. P.
Everything was fine but too small room size... couldn't open-wide two luggages on floor.. Free 2 water bottles
D. S.
Extremely comfortable stay with helpful friendly staff
A. A.
Was lovely and cookies at reception was a great touch. If anything I would say that you could hear wheb the people in the upstairs room flushed their toilets
R. D.
Really nice rooms, amazing bathroom, Super friendly staff. Room and bed comfy. Highly recommended!
B. S.
This is the best hotel I've been to for that price. Their service is just nice. The staff are very accommodating and friendly

I had an event here for my really good friend surprise 30th Birthday.. although there were a minor mis-understanding in the preparation towards the party, Celia (the event co-Ordinator) never seized to help achieve everything that I needed for my friend's party..
on the day the staff were AMAZING! I think it's Pedro (apologies if it is isn't) but he was just amazing!! Everything I needed he was on stand by and suggested other alternatives.. and the other lady Paula, she was amazing too.. wonderful staff doubletree by Hilton Greenwich have.. they all supported and jumped on board with surprising my friend.. it was a perfect night. I will be booking an event there soon :)

J. S.
very nice hotel . a shame about the location but still the staff, the bar and resteraunt inside lovely.
D. P. M.
Efficient staff. Easy check in. Large (for London area) rooms. All the usual amenities for the double tree branding. Close to DLR metro for Cutty Sark & Greenwich sightseeing. Recommended.
N. G.
A nice quiet location. Stylishly repurposed architecture. Friendly staff. A cynic might say: sure it's Greenwich, but it's pretty much borderline Deptford. That's not a problem. It has the look and feel of the smarter location, whilst being very close to the DLR and access into town.
s. w.
Very comfortable, great staff and great view from the top floor. Slightly disappointed about the lack of movie watching facilities.
S. N.

I. C.
Nice clean hotel. Looking forward to finding more Easter eggs on the pictures in the room.
N. T.
This by Hilton standards is a small boutique style hotel with well presented rooms , the best thing about this hotel though is the staff, they are all exceptionally friendly and helpful and make you feel at home It has easy access to canary wharf (around 20 minutes door to door via the dlr) or central London via bank station.
S. F.
It lacks an easy access for disabled people but the rooms are very nice and comfortable and the people are helpful and nice
A. I.

Should have 5 star, but for their Arab receptionist who told me as a black man they hadn't rooms, yet my colleague who's light skinned went in less than 20 seconds after I told him they didn't have rooms and got rooms for both of us.
J. M.
