Lovely gym, everyone is very helpful. Equipment and changing rooms are always spotless. There's a pool and steam room, and plenty of studio space when you want to do your own thing.

Another great Pilates class with Desta (Joy) she really is joyful in Pilates and Aqua classes. Club is excellent from start to finish, Super friendly, super clean, a great team! It has all the equipment for fitness and rehabilitation required for osteopathic recommendations for my clients / patients. Highly recommended.

Very well equipped gym however lacks in size, you have to be careful in terms of what time you go as you may need to wait for the most basic equipment to be free. Continuous improvements are visible, that said...please can you finally hang the big punching bag..its laying around unused for weeks whilst I've asked for it to be put up weeks ago.

I’ve only positive comments for the fitness first bishopsgate branch as below. + Friendly front desk staffs + Skilled personal trainers + Large workout area and free weights. + Well maintained swimming pool + Steam room to relax + Free group classes + New cardio machines (Always clean) + Decent opening times + Two massive changing rooms with hot showers and free towels. + Can bring a friend for free - Every Friday. + People! All lovely people who helps each other! Give a try and you won’t be disappointed. I’m using this gym for couple of years now and it’s now a part of my life!

Pool is an okay size but not wide enough for tall people! Fairly good selection of other equipment. CLOSES AT 7:45 NOT 9PM!!!

Overall a decent *overpriced* gym, BUT: Zero safety. I was robbed at this gym, someone just walked in, took my phone and wallet from my locker (locked with a combination lock) and got away with it. It happened just after I bought my membership for 130(!) £/month. The gym gave no compensation, but the manager offered me free membership for the remaining time in London (1,5 months). Better than nothing, but it doesn't nearly make up for the cost of what has been stolen. I partially blame the gym for what has happened, because it's their responsibility to ensure basic security. They don't even check IDs when people buy a membership or a day pass. I don't think anything has changed after the robbery, they still don't check IDs. If you join this gym, you have to realize that you do it at your own risk.

Great gym. They have 30min group classes and the instructor Jay is great! Jay makes the sessions fun, varied and full of ideas for work-outs I can practice in my own time too. He knows everybody by name and knows exactly what each of us wants to achieve. Time passes quickly and everybody seems to have fun and workout hard at the same time

Interestingly spacious for a gym based in London's financial district where space is a luxury. Nice pool and happy there's a sauna/steam room. 2 lockers, one by the pool and one near the entrance, so that is useful. Equipment of good quality. Couldn't find a machine to do back exercises though. Did I miss it? People pushing something in the middle of the gym floor while walking from one end of the room to the other is a bit annoying. I am not sure what this exercise is called, and I narrowly missed tripping when a guy suddenly decided to do some skipping in the same area. I guess that is the downside of limited space in central London, no matter how hard the gym management had tried to make it spacious. Overall, I enjoyed exercising here. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rhiannon and Ana in particular are very good. Steve also deserves mention. Hiten, Maise, Adriana & personal trainer Julian - all very pleasant, welcoming and efficient. There are very few gyms with pools and/or steam rooms in our neighbourhood (Spitalfields / London Liverpool Street), and Fitness First Bishopsgate came highly recommeneded by one of my neighbours. We often swap details, recommendations, suggestions etc., in our neighbourhood group - so I am very pleased to have found this space, through word-of-mouth, still the most powerful form of advertising, in my opinion! The only suggestions I gave the management is that they should have some hair & body wash of decent quality in the showers - ideally non fragranced and gentle on the skin/hair, plus lotion is a must in locker rooms. Overall, it's a fantastic gym though, so definitely worth a visit and I'll recommend it to anyone whop works and/or lives in the area.

Great gym with amazing friendly staff, this is by far one of the best gyms in the city with everything you would need to have a full body workout plus more, it has a pool and relaxation area, for the price, you cant go wrong. enjoy

I’ve been an on-off member of fitness first for over 16 years now, and I have to say from all the other branches, this has to be my favourite one! It does have an advantage over most of the other beaches, because not many branches have a pool in it. The pool ain’t the best pool I’ve seen in fitness first branches… but it does the job!

Equipment level is pretty decent, but does get very busy at peak times. They have two squat racks, an Olympic platform, a lot of bars, 1 flat bench and decline bench and plenty of standalone benches. Must PTs are only nice if you're a client but there are a handful that are polite at all times.

Since gyms have reopened after the COVID -19 restrictions, this gym has been ideal for me. I train at various FF gyms and Bishopsgate is the only gym that takes the additional safety precautions seriously. They provide ample disinfectant wipes and hand hell through the gym. I see the staff regularly cleaning equipment which is great. Equipment wise it has everything that you need and the gym is spacious. If we’re to be picky, I’d have to say that it would be nice to have a plate loaded leg press.

Already being a member at this gym, I was quite sceptical training at a gym post Covid-19, but the cleanness of the gym and the customer service you receive from staff and members has been amazing. No matter what time I train, the gym is always clean and up to my standards. Well worth joining.
