Finest gym in the sheperds bush area placed inside the shoping center. The staff here is very friendly and cooperative. There is also the facility of the personal trainer and group exercises ocassionaly also offfered in classes. A full fledge gym with all the necessary equipments for all kind of requirements. Lockers for keeping stuff along with showers at the premises. Also offered is discount packages occasionally such as student discount packages.

Visited recently and very impressed by the professionalism. Looked around the Shepherds Bush area for a workout space that includes relaxation. And whilst there are many in the area, chose this location as whilst it's not in the fancy Westfield Shopping Centre, it's just over the road and actually really easy to get into (straight up the escalator). Facilities have everything that i wanted with the additional sauna area as well. Well worth the money. Michael the manager was very professional as well and runs a great gym. Well done.

A bit small compared to other FF gyms and personal trainers seems to have have priority in there. It gets crowded at certain times so you're left waiting for equipment and machines. Some people have a habit of seating/occupying equipment while resting or being on the phone.

Loved my visit to Fitness First Shepard's Bush. Great facilities with a great weights and freestyle area (big fan of the lifting platform area) Experience with the staff was amazing. What gives more value to the gym,is that it is a safe place to workout, never gets crowded, santisiers are in every single corner of the gym,social distancing put in place, and finally nice /friendly stuff. If i have any problem I just ask to Adil, he is very patient, very professional and always available for any queries.

Nice gym. It is busy before 9am, and after about 6pm. So if you want to workout somewhere that is quiet, go there.

I've been coming to this gym for 3 years and i do really love coming here. i have a personal trainer (jan) and he is just amazing. Adil is the guy that sign me in and he was very helpfull with the membership. All the people that are working here, are so lovely and they are always ready to help at any time. The facilities are super nice, i really like go to the steam room after my workout !!!!! guys, you are super xx

This has been my gym for more than 8 years. It is not the best one or the more beautiful one. It actually has quite a few weaknesses but I am now used to it and it is near my house. To be completely honest I can see that the management is try g hard to improve it: there are new machines, staff is now more helpful and nice and they also offer free towels which is really a plus. Also the sauna area has got some improvement and it is generally clean and well kept.

This gym's great, friendly team includes a very hard working and approachable manager, Louis, and happy, knowledgeable staff and personal trainers. You're greeted from the moment you walk in, and I really like that my contactless membership card can be used sign in and to lock my locker. No need to hunt for change to use the lockers, and no cumbersome locker key to carry around. Large, comfortable change rooms, lots of equipment, nice layout, saunas and a steam bath mean great value for your money compared to other local gyms.

The place is well equipped. It has a lot of machines and you rarely ever need to wait for your turn. It's cool that you get a towel in each session so you don't need to bring your own, plus shampoo. The worst thing about the place is the showers. Sometimes you might end up in a shower that has no hot water or the shampoo containers are empty and there are no other shower places to use so you have to wait. The sauna room seems closed most days.

A brilliant gym, extensive equipment, resistance machines. Never gets horribly busy. Loads of free classes. Steam room and sauna. My 12 month membership cost £540. So it's steep... But got 2 extra months free. Its one of those worth doing if you have the spare money.

The staff are really nice and welcoming but the environment itself is uncomfortable. If you’re not a confident person maybe this gym isn’t a good fit. I always want to use the weights section but it is male dominated and all eyes are on you. I feel constantly looked at and I usually don’t get a full workout in.

This club is nice and big, spaced out and in a great location. The showers and change rooms are kept in good condition it's generally well looked after. The club features a steam room, sauna and a reasonable sized swimming pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. Make sure you get in early if you wish to take a class - the lists can fill up quickly and it's not possible to book online. Sometimes if you need to you can call up and the staff will be happy to let you know how many are on the list.

It's a welcoming Gym that I love to go to. However I have to give 3 stars because of its current condition: Lockers are mostly not working, many of the weight machines have some form of malfunction and showers are so so Please FitnessFirst... invest in some basic maintenance here so I can give the staff 5 stars

After a couple of wilderness years when toxic management tried to drive away long-term staff and members to turn the gym into a hub for 'roid ragers and Instagram narcissists, good has triumphed over evil and this Fitness First is a happy place again, with a positive, friendly atmosphere and excellent leadership from Beeps and Adil. The club has responded sensibly to Covid, reopening as soon as permitted with a host of safety and hygiene measures to protect staff and members. Personally, I couldn't wait to get back to training here!

The reviews seen below are quite old and not really true for this gym of late. Although it is located in the old W12 shopping centre it is a very easy club to get to. The management has probably changed a lot since the earlier reviews as now they are a lot more professional, the facilities are great and the layout of the equipment in the club is very clear and well organised since a Manager called Gus came in. The Sauna and the Steam rooms have now been updated (July 2013) and although there are still only 3 toilets in the ladies, they are always kept clean and there are lots of showers to make up for this. The class instructors are top class; Margo, Gayle, Julia, Michele, Karen for Yoga, so many names of people to mention who are amazing. Also the PT's are very professional and really put you through your paces; Sam, Jan, Steph, Michelle, Valentina etc. The Studio timetable is also really convenient for a lot of people, with a good number of classes before, at lunchtime and after work hours so you're sure to find a few that fit in your schedule. Don't let the old reviews below hold you back, if this is a club near to you then definitely give it a try, don't write it off just yet. Claire
