Been a member with Fitness Space Surrey Quays since they opened and really like it! The gym is super well equipped and modern and staff are very friendly, dedicated and helpful. I always feel like I can ask for help if I need to and the vibe is not intimidating at all! ☺️
Molly is an incredible coach and I really like working with her. She's very welcoming, knowledgeable and attentive and I always feel positive after my sessions with her.
Communication and safety guidelines are very good and the gym definitely feels like a safe place to train throughout these crazy times. As it's a small gym, it never gets crowded and having the possibility to also book gym sessions on the app is very convenient!

I have been a member of Fitness Space Surrey Quays since its opening in 2018 and it has been such an incredible learning experience. I can’t praise enough the professionalism, kindness and warm presence of an incredible group of instructors. I was a novice and I became a regular gym goer after seeing the positive changes in my body composition and state of mind. I particularly enjoy the PT sessions with my coach Alex with whom I continue my education. I actually got new tips to improve my squats today! Alex is super friendly and very knowledgeable and he keeps pushing myself. I enjoy the yoga sessions to mix my workout with strength training. I would recommend Fitness Space to anyone who finds traditional gyms intimidating or look for supportive guidance to achieve their goals.

A lovely boutique gym, with best in class equipment and pro staff.
Molly has been my PT for about 1yr now and she has been great, accurate, always willing to understand challenges and needs, on top of being lots of fun!
During Covid times I think is the safest and cleanest gym I have seen so far. Needless to say that thanks to the gym's policy, both staff and clients/audience you can find here are all well behaving and respectful of each other.

This is without a doubt a shred of doubt the best gym I've been to. Alex has been such a brilliant P.T and in just 6 months I'm healthier, stronger and fitter than I've ever been. All of the staff are helpful, friendly and have such a genuine care and interest in helping you achieve your goals that I look forward going to the gym every time. The limited number of people in the gym mean you basically always can use the equipment you need, the body composition scanning and DNA testing are really useful and the general facility is really well equipped, clean and smart. After trying maybe 10 other gyms over the years and never having the equipment, space, knowledge or confidence to stick at it, this is such a breath of fresh air.

I’ve been an incredibly happy member of Fitness Space Surrey Quays for two and a half years.
My focus has been on building strength, muscle and general fitness and even with wavering consistency over the pandemic I’ve gained 15kg and am able to do heavy deadlifts, squats and bench presses.
It’s been a joy training with Alex lately – he brought a discipline into my training that I didn’t have before, making sure that I was tracking my numbers and getting the right stimulus consistently. It’s been really fun looking at all my lifts go up and to the right.
Alex has been particularly careful to always keep it enjoyable. My sessions with Alex are challenging but not so exhausting that I dread coming in. Alex has made it so that I always looked forward to both our training sessions and coming in for my own training.
The gym is super high quality and everyone is friendly. I can highly recommend it to everyone.

Been going to this gym for a few years (apart from the lockdowns) and it's been great. First time I've regularly done exercise since school. I came in as a complete novice, never having been in a gym before, and the trainers gave me the confidence to know how to use the machines etc. The app you get is also great for this. My current trainer Molly is lovely, really encouraging and keen to get my views on whether current training approach is working for me. In summary, one of the more expensive gym options, but for me, worth it.

It's been several months now that I am going to this gym and so far so good! The place is quite small but it also means that there's not too many people which is a plus to me. It is not crowded and we can all respect the required social distancing. It is pricey, yes, but I am enjoying my time at the gym and my trainer Molly is always very welcoming and helping. If you can afford it I would suggest that you give it a go because it might be worth it for you too! Would love to see more kind of classes in the future like zumba, dance etc. :)

Absolutely amazing gym! A smaller gym but very well equipped and the scheduling app has worked really well to ensure a limit to the number of users so there's enough equipment to go around and maintain safe COVID measures. The staff are all brilliant and very friendly. I want to particularly thank my lovely PT Alex. I'm still quite new to the gym setting and I was initially quite nervous but Alex has been very welcoming and encouraging. He has helped set up programmes that are designed specifically for me; this has not only helped improve my fitness level but also my confidence. Alex has been very knowledgeable and motivating! 5 months in and I'm still here (my longest gym commitment!)

Fitness Space Surrey Quays is a great gym! It has all that you would need for a workout and the staff are super friendly especially for a first time gym goer like myself. Molly is an amazing PT who has made going to the gym an enjoyable one (despite my initial reservations). She has really listened to what I want to achieve, goes through techniques, creates and modifies programs as I go along and has really challenged me to push myself to achieve more than I expected and doing so in an encouraging way. I would highly recommend this gym and the PT sessions. If going to the gym is a daunting one for you (it was for me), I would recommend trying this one out and hopefully will change your perceptions.

The best gym in London! Having been a member of several gyms, absolutely love this place. Well equipped, brilliant team, great classes, and the user-capped, booked slots mean you can always do what you want to do, when you want to do it.

I love the fact that Matt, the owner, comes from a professional athletics background. This definitely reflects on the gym and the training classes & programs which are extremely varied and incorporate mobility and athleticism elements among all the other things you'd expect a gym to offer. Equipment is top notch (Technogym) as is the app which we use to book classes, communicate with your trainer and follow training programs built by your trainer. On that note, big shout out to my trainer Alex who has helped me achieve my personal fitness goals. I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to you! 🙏

Fitness Space Surrey Quays provides a great workout experience. The gym is very clean and equipment is new and high quality. I'm a big fan of the booking system which ensures that the gym is never overcrowded and makes it more secure from the Covid perspective. But the best thing about the gym are the people that work there - everyone is very friendly and professional. My PT Alex is doing an amazing job of creating a personalised workout programme that works for me and suits my needs. He is a very professional and personable coach, easy to communicate with and flexible around my schedule. I have always found going to the gym quite daunting but I joined this gym a few months ago and it’s completely different to all of the other gyms I’ve tried. It has a really friendly atmosphere and having a coach really makes a difference, you get a personalised training programme and your coach teaches you how to use all the equipment properly so doing a workout isn’t daunting at all. My coach Molly has been fantastic. She’s super friendly, motivating and knowledgeable, I feel like I’m working out with a friend and genuinely look forward to my sessions with her. She always adapts sessions to how I’m feeling and is really helpful at explaining the correct form with pointers so I can confidently do the exercises on my own safely. I would recommend this gym, especially to anyone who gets a bit nervous going to the gym. It’s a really nice environment to workout in!

I was a bit hesitant about joining Fitness space because I was quite unfit and have always found gyms to be quite intimidating spaces. However, I'm so glad I gave it a try — I've been going regularly for a few months now and have been really enjoying it. Facilities are great, everything is spotless, it never gets overcrowded because of the booking system, the coaches are all super friendly and approachable, and I love my monthly PT sessions. Martyna (my PT) is amazing, professional and really supportive, and so I always feel much more motivated after our sessions. She really listens to my concerns and wishes etc and adjusts the workout plans accordingly. Joining this gym was one of my 2022 resolutions and I'm not regretting it. The gym is intimate and might look small but it has all you need for effective training. I hated going to huge gyms where you spend half of your time waiting for your turn to use the machines or looking around for weights . The changing rooms are super clean and the showers are also a big plus, such a great way to end the workout. My PT Martyna is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Training with her makes the hard work easier. I also join her "strong" classes which give me the right boost to start off the day.The Fitness Space app helps me to keep tracks of my progress and training plan and it syncs with Fitbit and other major fitness apps to reflect my activities. So very happy overall. I would recommend it to anyone who's looking to make some positive changes to their lifestyle and fitness and to more experienced people who want to train in a comfortable and relaxed environment.

I really recommend this gym. I have always struggled in the past for motivation but their motto - never train alone - is certainly true. Everyone is super friendly and supportive, the facilities are really nice, the equipment as well, I love the app - really easy to use and convenient for booking sessions. You have so many different classes to choose from… I was really impressed with the lockdown and pandemic measures they put in place, it feels like a safe environment especially with the ongoing covid situation.
This is a place where I feel you get a more personalised treatment, they know who you are and you feel welcomed. Shout out to my current PT Alex, super motivating and always helping me to push myself and keep going.
Overall, the thing that sets this gym apart from previous experiences is that it doesn’t feel like a business where they just want to profit from it. You are looked after, and you feel they care about you and your progress, that makes a really big difference.

I have been going to Fitness Space for about 6 months now. It never feels crowded so there is no last minute changes to your workout because machines aren’t free. Kate has been a great PT. Really love working out at Fitness Space. It has a nice atmosphere and just the right amount of facilities. Excellent gym with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great equipment - no getting told off for deadlifting unlike at some other local gyms. Free access to regular body composition scans to track progress is another plus.
Only downside is having to compete to get a gym slot at your preferred time if you like to workout during peak hours - if you’re on top of it it’s fine.

I've been a member here for around 6 months and it's the best gym I've been to. After going to various gym chains on and off for around 2-3 years and struggling to fully commit, I've been consistently going to FitnessSpace purely for the welcoming and encouraging people.
In terms of equipment, my partner and I have never struggled to find what we need that day.
As a member of the gym, I have routine "body composition" checks where I can monitor progress and have my training plan adjusted accordingly. This really helps keep me motivated and stay on track.
TLDR; Brilliant gym, good space for training and supportive/encouraging PT's. Would 100% recommend :)

Been a member of a few gyms before - easy to say this is the best I've ever been to. Everything is personalised and the training sessions / workout plans are awesome. The PTs are all super knowledgeable and approachable - the environment is so welcoming / uninimidating - there's a real focus on overall health, mobility etc. I train with Alex who is brilliant - he knows stuff inside out and has shown me a ton of new exercises as well as fixes for problems I've had for years. Definitely feel I'm further along my fitness / health journey than I've been before!
Never train alone / we're here for the journey is an ethos the gym actually lives by, and it's brilliant!

Love this place! Facilities are top notch and the PT/coaches are brilliant. I started here back in May 2021 to rehab after some back and knee issues. By September/October I ran 4 marathons in 21days. Fitness Space Surrey Quays is definitely the best gym I have ever been. It has an interesting concept, which includes clean and organized space, state-of-the-art machines, and personalized program in a very friendly atmosphere. These all together help me feel motivated to achieve my goals and never give up. I chose the Forge Membership and I go to the gym at least 5 days a week… in four months I got results that would take a longer time to get in regular trainings with no personalized assistance. Matt is always very supportive and creates the right program according to you goals and limitations, so the work out is never boring. I'm so happy to be part of this gym. Staff are very supportive, Chris has adapted for me three different workouts according to my needs, the app it's very easy to use, the facilities are always very clean and with state-of-the-art machines. The vibe is also great, people attending are friendly, I feel always very comfortable and safe. The results obtained are great, I've never felt so fit and healthy, I have lost more than 10kg with them, and I'm able to do exercises I thought I would never be able to do. I've been a member of this gym for just under 6 months and I absolutely love it! Working with my trainer Aga has been great, she's worked with me on understanding my goals and how to achieve them (and even how to eat better when I thought a couple of beers and some chips was a good dinner).
Your membership comes with an app which has your tailored workouts on it. You can add any other type of activity you do outside of the gym and I've also found this so useful when I travel to keep training (no excuses).
Overall, it's a great gym with the right amount of facilities and really great staff if you need help.

I'd never previously been a regularly gym user because they can be intimidating if you don't know what you're doing. Fitness Space Surrey Quays is very welcoming, the coaches are friendly and have great credentials. I now go 4 times a week and I'm very comfortable with my workout plan set by my coach which is updated on the gym's free app. Don't be put off by the joining fee, the DNA test provides interesting information including what type of athlete you are which enables your coach to tailor your workout.

My boyfriend and I joined as founder members a year and a half ago as this gym was leaps and bounds above other gyms in the area. It has all the latest equipment but still maintains a friendly, local and non-intimidating atmosphere. The concept of 'never train alone' means all memberships include an element of personal training and programme(s) developed with your designated trainer are loaded in your app so they are easy to follow and refer back to (however, regularly or irregularly you might go!). As well as a fully kitted out gym they have a range of classes that run everyday and across the weekend.
My personal trainer is Chris who I would highly recommend. I joined never really having used weights before with the goal of becoming stronger. Over the year and a half he has been training me he continues to push me and ensures my programme is updated regularly to help me to reach that goal and I have definitely seen results. He's also super friendly and encouraging which always helps when I'm struggling with those last reps!

I've been a member at Fitness Space Surrey Quays for about 3 months, and it was a great decision to join. It's never too busy and not too large, but has all the necessary equipment and the integration with the app is really useful, enabling me to track my progress, including through monthly body composition analysis. The highlight is definitely the PT sessions - my coach Chris is great, providing just the right level of support and guidance, and having the sessions on a regular basis is really motivating as well as surprisingly affordable!

Having joined Fitness Space in October 2018 I can fully recommend it to anyone. I signed up for the Forge Membership so get a PT session each week along with access to the gym and classes. Matt has helped me to rehab my bad knee and has also created 2 addition sessions for me to do each week which I have access to on the app - so that's 3 work outs a week sorted for me without having to think about a thing. Definitely the best gym I have ever been to and have never felt better, with regular body compositions I can track my progress and I feel like I've learn so much about equipment, exercises and what works for me. Surrey Quays Fitness Space has great equipment, the coaches know what they’re talking about and the place is always kept neat and tidy (including lockers and showers). Both the staff and other members are great, friendly and welcoming which allows a non-intimidating atmosphere!
In my experience the coaches went beyond what I expected to make sure all classes and one to one sessions went ahead, and would be very accommodating and flexible if needed.
I was a member for a full year and would definitely recommend this place to anyone, beginner or not!

Fitness Space is the best gym by far and I've tried lots including Virgin Active. Fitness Space offers a real personal experience where you can choose several different packages and all the trainers are so welcoming; it's a really supportive community. One of the best things is the class timetable - so varied with lots of different options that means a Mum with a toddler can always find a time that is suitable. If I move to a different location I will actively seek out a Fitness Space gym.

If I could give more than 5 stars to any establishment, it is this gym! I’ve never achieved results so quickly and the support and attention I get from the trainers is a major factor to that. The personalized fitness plan that changes every month or so means you get the desired results and exercising is actually FUN. The space is always spotless and the equipment is state of the art. As a woman I can also say I’ve never once felt intimidated or uncomfortable in this gym as I have before by creepy men in the weights sections at other gyms... The entire team is just so friendly I feel like I’m at my second home. I honestly can’t recommend it enough, it is worth every penny.

I train once week with Agnieszka (my PT) who is really friendly and encouraging. Agneiszka gives me a nice balance of strength, HIIT and circuits and I couldn’t recommend her more! She’s great! Getting to the gym and working out my program always felt like hard work to me. It took the enjoyment out of it, and what was supposed to be my place to de-stress became stressful.

After 3 years of never sticking to one gym, neglecting my physical and mental health, I’ve decided to try Fitness Space. And what a great decision it was! 💯
Personally, the only to way to actually get fitter, stronger and get more confident was to start straightaway with a PT. Chris(!!!) has been training me for about 4 months already, and I’ve never felt this healthy in my life. I have been complaining about my back pain, lack of strength and stamina for almost 5/6 years - and Chris guided me through exercises only focused on these troubled areas. After 1 month and with 99% of the pain gone, it was time to go further and start building muscle - that will take a while now, but I have been carefully followed, my goals are heard and weekly plans have been changed iteratively every time I request.
Facility-wise, I would say that this gym’s unique selling point is the environment and cleanliness - the staff found a way to make sure their customers aren’t being followed or judged, but also ensure they’re eager to help those who ask for it.

You dont get Personal Trainer here but rather a coach who are real athletes themselves.
I am privileged to be train by Chris; former national rugby athlete. He is that one coach pushes you to your limit but yet some empathy. Every program he design are very specific to your body not his. He not only tells you what to do but explain every step and reason for doing it.

I joined over 6 months ago, and for someone who has commitment issues it’s a lifetime! I’m not a person that’s comfortable sweating amongst other people but Fitness Space makes it easy to get the work done comfortably.
The staff is so friendly and always on hand to help. The atmosphere is chilled and not intimidating. They have a great change room & facilities. The equipment is super high-tech and they even have an app that is always on hand to keep me updated with classes, accountable with my progress and in touch with my coach 24/7!
The BEST part is the coaches and the personal touch that they provide to the experience. Not only has Matt always been on hand to answer ALL of my questions, but he’s also put up with my moaning whilst pushing me to do my very best. Not only have I learnt lots of physical skills that I never imagined that I could, but I’ve also learnt lots of mental skills too thanks to Matt! I may not think that I can do something, but with Matt’s guidance & patience, nothing is impossible. With every session, I am excited to see what I can achieve!
