We stayed one night for a company do. Room is a reasonable size, comfortable and clean. Slept well and had a good nights sleep. Staff friendly and attentive, although the receptionist this morning was not very friendly or concerned when I asked if the jacket I had left downstairs in the bar had been handed in! Parking is secure, but tight and limited and costs £20 odd pounds a night. Overall a good hotel.
C. M.
An old hotel poorly maintained and way below the Novotel standards. The rooms need a proper refreshment. The shower tap is half broken, there is no power socket near the bed (does that still exist in 2022 ?). Reception staff is OK but not very friendly.
Best point is the location right next to the station, and the view over the City.
This is not a 4 star hotel.
K. H.
Decent enough place to stay for 1 or 2 nights in an interesting and historic part of London. Quite basic but adequate, although of the price, I would have expected the quality to have been more 4 star than 3 star. More attention needs to be paid to house-keeping - the previous guest's underpants were left under our bed!

Rooms are big and lots of amenities included, really liked having a fridge in the room as where I am working doesn't have many places for lunch nearby so was really good to be able to pre-buy things from a supermarket for the next day and not have to worry about them going bad. The air con left a lot to be desired as I had it on the lowest temp and full fans for all time spent in the room without noticing much of an effect.
Staff were so friendly and happy to help with any queries and made the experience so much better.

Did not stay here, used the parking which was very easy to sort on the JustPark app and instructions were easy. car felt safe in the car park, easy 24hr access. Would park again!

Great location & helpful staff.
We were worried we'd struggle to park, but there were a few spaces available when we arrived (midday on Friday). Parking is £18/overnight. We stayed a little longer after checkout and they didn't charge us extra (👌). There are 3 disabled spaces, 4 electric charge spaces and around 20 regular spaces.
Room was clean and had all the basics
D. K.
Well looked after by staff. Room spacious and clean. Food excellent. Our meeting was well catered for too. Would recommend a stay there.
J. F.
Fab location, with station literally next door. Customer service was fantastic, the room spotlessly clean, tidy and secure. Had aircon, safe, proper blackout curtains and window that opened (and did not hear any trains). Perfect.
j. s.
Great location. Secure car park on site. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfy bed. Clean room. Quiet despite being next to train station
J. B.
While the lobby, restaurant, and food are great, the rooms are pretty archaic and not well kept. The shower was mouldy, sinks had some soap scum around them, and toilets felt like a shed. The bed was very comfy though.
V. O.
Excellent location, on site parking. Clean, bright, spacious well-equipped rooms. Very good breakfast with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. Friendly helpful staff. Super comfy beds (three quarter in our superior twin room), very good soundproofing. Fast, friendly room service. Ideal for Greenwich, and right next to the train station for Thameslink/ DLR.
Hope to stay again soon.
J. S.
pleasant, everyone very obliging, car parking was available. Food (breakfast) excellent. Preferred the waitress service which you offered.
N. C.
Bit pricey for what you get the rooms need a good revamp, staff are helpful, the train station is next to it so for families and light sleepers request a room away from the right side of the hotel.. The bars / clubs near by are quite loud...
R. B.
Not a bad hotel in a good location, rooms are smallish but good for the price. It is next door to station.
R. S.
Hotel rooms ate looking a little worn but clean and simple.
Loads of toiletries in room, they have thought of every eventuality! Due to covid you request a tea and coffee pack from the reception who are so welcoming and helpful.
We had an issue with our kettle and electrics the 1st evening but these were rectified as soon as possible.
The breakfast is no longer self service but you can order from a menu and the staff are very accommodating for younger guests who may not want all the items shown on the set breakfasts.
This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and we would not stay in any other part of london now. Greenwich is ideal for families and adults alike
V. H. G.
Staff were excellent.
P. M.
Rooms dated and unclean. More like a three star hotel.
L. W.
Was a few times already in this hotel. Clean rooms and helpful staff. The train station is just a few steps away to visit London's attractions.
W. M.
Ideal location. Slight mix up with our room, but soon rectified. Reception a little slow. Comfortable, clean rooms. Good breakfast. Would recommend.

The food was basic. Maybe it has something to do with the Pandemic. The last time I was there before the Pandemic the food was excellent. It was reasonably priced.

Lovely hotel
Rooms nice and clean
Hotel staff looked after us perfectly
Thank you
S. S.
Good location
Friendly and helpful staff
Most importantly for me there was a proper cooked Vegan breakfast for me which was amazing👍🏾👍🏾

Please just save yourself the stress and headaches of going to this hotel especially if you’re coming from out of the country. They’ll make you check out if you decide to pay day by day. My travel plans changed and I had to extend for another day, I can’t believe their service is this horrible and they let me checkout forcefully. “WHY” do yo have to keep charging people for the room you don’t even have available? They charged me 3 times and still didn’t even give me a room I just want my $364 back. What a ridiculous place and overcharging hotel to stay. Ibraheem O

For a 4 * hotel, it was poor value for money. Rooms, we got moved due to broken sink and no toilet rolls, were tired. Carpets were marked and general decor was shabby. Paper cups and tea/ coffee were poor, supposedly for covid, felt like an excuse for saving money for the chain.
T. S.
Was expecting a better service to be honest, especially for the price paid and the fact that I have stayed at this property numerous times before. Had a lukewarm reception and same on the checkout, I feel the hospitality and leisure industry in general should be more accommodating in general ,especially during the pandemic.

Lovely breakfast but room had several priblems that were not fixed
L. C.
The staff are superb and make this a great place to stay in, all so friendly and helpful. The Novotel is right by the train station so it's only 10 mins into central London. Or, for the best experience, walk 10 mins to the Cutty Sark and take the Uber Boat to see the sights. Our family room was ideal with a view of Canary Wharf. We did breakfast on our final day in the restaurant which was excellent. Top hotel, looking forward to going back again.
P. K.
Staff were cool breakfast was tasty but really had an executive suit (£109 a night) and the carpets were vile literally had to keep my shoes on and wipe them on the way out of the hotel would i stay here again not a chance come on Novotel you can't really think this is acceptable and OK for customers the 2 stars is just for the staff but the hotel is a solid 1 star 👈👎
L. K.
Not enough parking. Staff lovely, room comfy and nice. Next door to dlr Station
D. W.
Lovely rooms, staff polite and helpful. Lovely place to explore is Greenwich. Hotel literally right next door to train station. Only 3 stops to tower bridge.
C. S.
The picture advertised is NOT of the hotel. Lol.
Budget hotel. 3 stars is generous. Fine if you need a cheap stay in Greenwich. Good location and parking on site for £18 overnight.
M. S.
I didn’t stay overnight but used the conference facilities. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Especially GG who went out of his way to make my time there memorable. Looking forward to staying there sometime soon.
R. A.
Great location. Friendly staff. Excellent rooms.
A. K.
Crisp and clean.
Check in and out were efficient.
Water bottles at least could have men provided.
Overall, fairly good value for money.

We have had a very relaxing weekend.
The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff provided an excellent customer service.

A not so pleasant experience, but location is perfect!
We stayed for four nights in 2 superior rooms in 2nd floor, train station side.
The rooms were clean but the (metallic!) ceiling at the toilet was too noisy when opening/closing the door. Apparently, ALL rooms are like that (our friends had the same issue). In the bathroom the amenities were 'poor' (soap, shampoo, shower gel, paper tissues - why not refills?). Very strange the fact that there was no hotel brochure and info. One of our rooms had a problem with the magnetic card. They said it was fixed the first day but still we had to change cards almost every day. Cleaning ladies were very polite, rest of staff also. We were not really disturbed by the trains.
Breakfast was average, same things every day. Staff was running all the time but probably needs reinforcement. One day (28/12 at 8:15) half of the buffet was empty for more than 15'.
At the bar the situation was not very clear. I stayed at the table, nobody arrived for an order. I had to go to the bar myself to get the drinks.
The gym was quite nice, renovated (soon a sauna) but maybe too many machines for the available space.
Regarding the green practices of the hotel, I didn't see recycling bins in common areas or read anywhere about their actions.
The location is excellent! It's next to the train station with many possibilities to go anywhere in London city and direct line to St. Pancras. It's close to Greenwich centre with many restaurants, the market, Cutty Sark, Royal Observatory, etc. Pharmacy and super market very close.
Concerning our reservation, we had booked 3,5 months in advance and requested for interconnecting rooms and to be close to our friends staying there at the same time. Nobody replied to our message, nobody took care of any of our requests. At check-in, they were explaining that requests are fulfilled according to availability. Well, it was the first time for us that a Novotel couldn't fulfil our request (send so much in advance).
We're Accor customers for many years and have been in many Novotel hotels. We were always receiving link for the survey/review after check-out but not this time. Was it because (for the first time) I made some remarks concerning our stay before leaving? So, I send a message asking for it and, guess what, no link for the survey was sent due to 'an error of the system'. Now the rumours (for sending the survey only to happy customers) are confirmed.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel, it is in a prime location to explore Greenwich and has fantastic commuting facilities to get you in and out of London as it is literally next door to Greenwich Station. Had a fantastic 2 nights sleep in comfy beds and found the location to be very quiet even though there are public houses beside it. Breakfast was very good however restaurant menu was quite limited. Staff couldn't do enough for you and were very warm and pleasant, will definitely come back again and would highly recommend 😁
S. G.
Overall it's a nice hotel - modern enough and importantly clean. Unfortunately the facade enhancements taking place as advised on the website result in extremely noisy building work - ok if you're out of the hotel by 9am during the week but not if you want to relax on holiday! The room was nice enough although I found it very strange that the toilet was in a separate cupboard type room with no sink, and I had to leave it, walk back through the room, then into the ensuite bathroom itself to wash my hands! The restaurant is OK but way too expensive for what it is - I tried the fish and chips which were tasteless, but the chocolate brownie dessert was good. The location is perfect but to be honest I can't see myself staying here again, maybe I'd reconsider after the building work has finished!
B. L.
Novotel greenwich was very nice although it doesn't lots of amenities, e.g a swimming pool, like other novotel hotels that I've been to. It has quite a nice breakfast selection with my favourite part of it being the pancakes. It also has comfy rooms. I stayed in the superior suite which was very nice and it was definitely worth the price. The hotel is also near lots of good activities and attractions like a cable cart ride or a boat ride. Overall I would highly recommend that you come to this hotel.
T. j. S.
Great reception team, comfortable room, able to skip from the station to hotel in less than 30 paces, ace. Breakfast was good, no queues. View over Greenwich was superb. Do go to the market and have the Eritrean veg lunch.sensational. 10 minutes walk from cutty Sark, few minutes more to royal Observatory and loads of other stuff. Go now without the queues, honestly just fantastic.
A. C.
This place was nice and really good to stay I enjoy My stay there location is perfect and staff is really good
J. E.
You know what to expect with Accor hotels very clean and efficient. A step up from Ibis but right now on a par price wise. Recommended.
D. H.
The hotel rooms are basic but comfortable with good views over Greenwich at the front. The bar and restaurant was light and airy with friendly, helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant and found the good very good - the sea bass in particular was delightful. Recommended for a visit to London as it's easy access and a nice village atmosphere.
K. L.
The best thing about the hotel is its location, in terms of access to public transport and just being in Greenwich. My experience of the hotel itself was less positive: the rooms were shabby and need investment; service in the restaurant was poor as was the quality of the food; the bar doesn’t offer a great selection of drinks, the bar staff would take orders at the table and then forget to serve them and a member of bar staff was on his phone whilst my family and I cleared a couple of tables so that we could sit down. The staff were very friendly, they just weren’t very good. The location has dragged this up to a three star review, otherwise it would probably have been one star. It’s not somewhere I would return to or recommend.
e. b.
Room was large and comfortable, loved the bath (and particularly the deep tub). The little amenities like the Nespresso machine and the toiletries in the bathroom made me feel very comfortable. Food was excellent in the restaurant, and staff were well versed in dealing with food allergies (and made dealing with my rather unusual one very straightforward). Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
K. S.
The hotel is modern, very close to Greenwich railway station. The room was clean and quiet with a very comfortable bed. Reception staff were friendly and super efficient particularly Stefano and Andrea.
We would like to come back again,
hopefully soon.
Highly recommended.
T. E.
Very enjoyable stay. Everything was perfect. Great location right beside the rail/DLR station. Nice room, liked the Nespresso machine. Also appreciated the 5 GBP credit per day for not having your room cleaned. This is a great initiative. The deciding factor in selecting this hotel was a three nights for the price of two promotion which was very appealing.
K. W.
Very happy with our stay. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the Reception staff.
The room was spotlessly clean and well laid out. We had problems adjusting the heat control on the shower and the Receptionist went personally to check and then called maintenance. However, as it turned out there was no fault and we just needed to adjust the control more fully. The breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
C. E.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern and the rooms are very spacious considering Europe hotels are usually quite small. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options and is worth the money as there are not many other options closeby. The hotel is conveniently located directly next to the Greenwich Train Station and is two stops away from London Bridge which will connect you with anywhere you need to go in London.
C. P.
Check in took far too long. They had my room card ready, but kept me there telling me I didn’t have a booking with them.
There was drilling in another room in the morning.
Breakfast was nice and rooms are clean though.
Also bear in mind it’s close to the railways, so can be noisy.

It was my girlfriend and I'm first time staying overnight in London (and in England in general). I gotta say, the hotel definitely set a good impression. The staff were very polite and know how to drum up a conversation. The rooms were very clean and we'll maintained too. The food from their food service was also delicious! All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in London.
E. K.
From check-in to check-out everything was superb. Rooms were large, spotlessly clean and everything you need was in the room.
Staff were polite, friendly and helpful.
Dinner in the restaurant was delicious.
Slight negative, nobody seemed to know how to work the bath in our room, not even the staff.
Price was excellent as I booked their 50th Anniversary offer for 2 nights. Location was perfect for exploring Greenwhich and even central London as Waterloo took about 20/30minutes away.
H. A.
Enjoyed our stay here for 3 nights. Good service and food and rooms modern and clean. Convenient for Greenwich village and for British rail and Docklands Light Railway into London. Helpful and friendly reception and other staff.
R. G.
Nice and quiet. Very clean and well maintained. I stayed here a number of times and have always enjoyed my stay. The staff are also very welcoming and helpful. It’s located in a nice area and right next to the DLR. I’m only rating it 4-stars because during my last stay it was very cold and the heater didn’t work as it should.
C. F.
Nice and pleasant stay. The hotel itself is very comfortable and the room was an excellent size with a very comfy and large bed. However the air con didn't seem to have any effect leaving the room warm, especially overnight. Also the toilet in the room was totally detached from the bathroom leaving you to have to walk back through the room to wash your hands after going to the toilet. Not very hygienic and rather tricky in the dark. Overall though a pleasant stay and a very good location being right next to Greenwich station.
O. F.
The staff were helpful, the room clean. I didn't need the disabled room and I had requested a bath but as I was hardly in the hotel I didn't ask to change. The bathroom was very tired. Bed comfortable and clean, carpet not so good, TV and facilities fine, glad of a decent iron. Buffet breakfast good. All in all fine for what I needed for a weekend. Thank you
Z. G.
I booked an executive room with breakfast on the line displayed on their website. Arrived to a bedroom with scaffolding outside of it, as there are external works currently live where cladders are installing insulation. Went out with my partner for a night out and was looking forward to a lie in, but that was cut short by the workers drilling from 8.30am, not ideal on a hangover and certainly not ideal for £170 for the night. Spoke with reception who were understanding and have offered 50% concession but I'm not sure I'm happy to even be paying that, as it's the hotel's oversight for choosing to put people in these rooms for the duration of the construction works. Spoke with the site manager of the contractor doing the works who informed me the "metal to metal" machinery they were using at that time was permitted, which cannot be right as the noise was awful. I'm pretty sure their site conditions would not permit the use of any loud machinery before 9am, that's coming from a quantity surveyor who works for a main contractor on similarly sensitive sites
R. S.
Beautiful place. Lot of history in the area. Worth a visit
A. E.
Nice, clean spacious room with all the amenities you need and very friendly staff. Breakfast was fine and not too pricey when booked the night before. Location is excellent; just a 5 minute walk from Greenwich attractions and right on top of the train station. The latter is also the only disadvantage of this hotel, as the trains are quite noisy. So if you're a light sleeper, make sure you book a room at the front of the hotel, not the back.
C. C.
Great hotel next to the station. Gym and sauna area isn't big but then again, very few guest use the amenities.
Good inclusive breakfast but dinner abit pricey but quality meals.
I can say great for business trip into London, transport connection is great also.
Enjoyed my stay and recommend it.
J. H.
To be honest a little conflicted. The communication with the hotel before we arrived had much to be desired of. But the chap who greeted us and checked us in could not have been more friendly or helpful. The room was a good size and clean. Breakfast wasn't a very pleasant experience. The food wasn't very nice and the staff weren't particularly friendly.
s. O.
Warm, comfortable, peaceful. Great position for a London hotel - a lovely river boat journey to get to the hotel from Waterloo station. We slept really well in comfortable big beds in the twin room. The staff were wonderfully friendly and professional. My son and I had a really fabulous time. Thank you - we had a great stay.
A. F. (.
Rooms are pleasant enough, the receptionists nice, evening staff are good. Staff at breakfast are rude and lack basic customer service skills. We waited 5 minutes for plates to be put out, when none arrived we asked the lady putting croissants out for some plates. She growled at us " in a minute" amd stomped off. Breakfast is greasy and sausages undercooked.
B. F.
More than a first great experience at London. This hotel is located in front of the famous Greenwich observatory and very close to metro station. Very clean room. Great service and the restaurant well served. Smiling and helpful persons. Breakfast sooooo delicious. One small remark about the heating : too hot ...
N. H.
This is a nice hotel right from when you arrive at reception. The receptionist were very good and really helpful. The room was nice it had the railway station outside but that wasn't a problem with the hot weather it made it feel and sound like ltaly. The bar staff were exceptional and very happy. The breakfast was up to the usual high standard of Novòtel.
Recommend it highly.

we stayed 2 nights here 23 & 24 Sep 2018 because our bus tour starts and ends here so it is more convenience to stay here. Very nice room and very comfortable beds (twin bed room). Just next to Greenwich DLR Station and close to city centre. Very nice bathroom, it had shower and a separate bath tub and is next to the beds. Separate toilet just next to the room entry on your right. Quite a hassle when you want to do your business in toilet then have bath/shower as you need to go near the door then back to the bedroom but it is also quite good too as the smell from toilet is sort of quite separated from bedroom & you dont disturb other people if you go to toilet at night as the light is not going to affect the bedroom. Didnt have any meals/drinks in the hotel so no comment. If price is good (good deal), wouldnt mind to stay here again.
W. V.
The staff I interacted with were all great. Hotels in a good location. Minutes from the DLR and seconds from the rail station (it's next door).
15 mins to Greenwich centre. Few decent food options not so far away although beyond a sports bar there's nothing on the doorstep.
My only complaints would be the bathroom shower felt a bit antiquated. It wouldn't stay in the holder. The head had the metal centre fall off it. Everything else was fine. Not exceptional (still prefer the Canary wharf Novotel personally) but a good base and would stay again.
M. E.
Looking forward to staying in the Novotel, but sadly felt very disappointed. Reception on arrival was good, friendly. Hotel lobby etc. Also clean and well presented. However the room wasn't - broken lights in the bathroom, slightly tatty around the edges. Had to ring for a clean bathroom mat. Shower was never very warm. Sadly things got worse when we returned to the hotel before midnight and rang through for some room service. The menu made clear what was available up until 11pm and what was 24/7. However the woman on reception started by telling me the kitchen was closed. When I asked about the 24/7 issue she said - "oh well I've only been trained in a margarita pizza, so unless you want that i can't help you" - Anytime it says on the front of the menu! It meant I had to take a walk into Greenwich late at night to try and find some alternate food. Disappointing.
M. O.
Our room smelled very strongly of some kind of chemical spray, or paint or something if the sort, it was very offputting as soon as we walked in the door. The toilet was separate from the rest of the bathroom so to wash your hands after going to the toilet was completely unhygienic!
There were no plugs by the bed so our phones had to charge over the other side of the room, and our bed was rock solid, neither of us got a good night's sleep.
Breakfast in the morning was very disappointing, I'm sure the food would have been nice if it clearly hadn't been left in the trays under the heaters for a good while.....it was not nice at all.
The only good thing about our stay was the service of the staff.
I have stayed in Novotels before, and can only say I am so disappointed with our experience in this one, it's tempting not to book again.
V. P.
great staff, great service just let down by an executive room that had stains on carpet, stains on wall and a very overall grubby / tired feel to room.
If this has been a £50pm room not too bad but for the price paid & for an executive room not standard, made it very poor value for money and it must be said for quality of rooms you might wish to consider staying elsewhere in area if 527 was anything to go by.
Ideal location for sights in Greenwich, right next to DLR (no noise at all) with superb staff but if you want quality of room then the Travelodge another 100m up the road couldn't be any worse
I. U.
No Spa facilities due to redesign despite website stating that the works to these finished mid-December. Duvet and pillows are polyester not feather so you get incredibly hot. Very dry room with a tiny window opening that will not stay open. No air conditioning exists - it looks like air con but in fact it only lets out room temperature air. I realised all of this when I woke after just 2 hours sleep extremely hot and thirsty. I called reception to ask them to switch air conditioning on and they informed me that the rooms do not have air conditioning only a fan. It's the worst experience at a 4-star hotel I have ever had. I expected much better.
m. p.
The room was a bit different from a standard Novotel (separate toilet with no sink, more like the Ibis setup), but nothing very wrong. Good bed, enough space for the suitcases, good price and neighborhood. The only downside was the noise of the trains passing by, but we got used to this after one night. We found a very good quality restaurant in the lobby. Good links by DLR and boat to the City.
D. H.
Fantastic warm luxurious ambiance as you enter. As was the smiling barrista serving our coffee. l did not stay in hotel.
Great meeting place to set off on our tours of Greenwich (right beside the station.)
K. B.
Spend the weekend with the family at the Novotel Greenwich London.
Very friendly staff, clean room. Good, reasonable priced bar.
Small highlight for the boys a kids section in the lobby.
Very good location, directly next to the train station and 5min to the market and park.
A. N.
The room was clean, comfortable and - unusually - the temperature was ideal even without having the window open or the air conditioning on. The only minor drawbacks were: the bath towels were small and seemed to be very old; the toilet paper was rather harsh and of poor quality. The breakfast was good and there was plenty to choose from. The dining area was attractive and pleasant to be in - again, with a vey good temperature. All the staff were welcoming and friendly and helped to make our stay very enjoyable, ,particularly the lady on the check-in desk who went out of her way to assist us with our luggage and make sure we had maps and information about the local area. Thank you!
L. J.
Friendly staff and nice room. We where located on the end of the hall and this was a quit place. Rooms are very spacious.
Last but not least, trains and busses are in front of the Hotel. Price quality this get a 100/100 from me.
M. H.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is modern and the rooms are very spacious considering Europe hotels are usually quite small. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options and is worth the money as there are not many other options closeby. The hotel is conveniently located directly next to the Greenwich Train Station

The hotel is very beautiful and the location is perfect! The neighbourhood is super quiet but it's next to the train station which connects Greenwich to Central London. Definitely the best is the front desk staff, specially Alicia who was very kind to us and got personally involved to find some personal items we forgot at the hotel. I definitely hope to stay over again!
S. G.
Been here twice, first time for five nights in May 2018 then two nights in late May. Everything was excellent with staff going out of their way to help. The room was very clean and comfortable and the full English breakfast topped off an excellent stay. Will definitely return to this hotel and would highly recommend to all.
G. L.
Nice room, comfy beds, friendly staff, and excellent buffet full cooked breakfast, but as other reviewers have said the rooms are just far too warm. Spent the night with no covers and was still sweating buckets; the ineffective air conditioning is too noisy to leave on, and the road is too noisy to sleep with the window open. Also, I booked the room for 1 adult and 2 children, but the room only had a single sofa bed.
M. L.
Nice hotel ideally situated bang next to Greenwich Railway/DLR. Rooms are of a good standard, clean and comfortable. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Some noise from main road at front and trains at the back but at an acceptable level. Have stayed here several times to visit relatives in the area and will keep returning!
J. M.
Good value for money. Good location. Comfy rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
R. O.
Stayed for 2 nights. Very basic room w only 1 chair.
Hot water tap didn't work. Air con control didn't work. So room not properly checked after last occupant.
Very much low budget standard but not reflected in price.
T. R.
Great location, on site parking good.
Staff very friendly and helpful however our room experience wasn't so good and we would think twice about booking a Novotel again.
The bed was extremely hard, we have a hard mattress at home but this one was like concrete therefore we did not get a good nights sleep.
Only one flat pillow each, we checked in wardrobe for additional pillows but there were none. We did not ask staff for more pillows as it would have delayed us going to bed we therefore used the towels to raise our pillows up.
The separate toilet is very small and has no wash hand basin in there.
Door cards kept cancelling out, not sure why as we kept them away from our mobiles
S. D.
Booked online, checking in at the hotel was quick and easy. The room was clean and bed was really comfortable. There did appear to be building works happening outside the hotel but the room was well insulated from noise.
A. W.
Exceptional! I have so many good things to say about this hotel and so little space. Rooms nice, and very clean, food excellent and the staff always friendly, kind and happy. All went above and beyond to make sure my visit was wonderful. A special thank you to Sylvia at the front desk. She was so much help to me. I felt like she was a friend when I left. She helped me with everything. Being a single traveler can be hard. But after my travels through Europe, Greenwich was my most enjoyable in great part to my stay at the Novatel and the wonderful locals i met in Greenwich. I would like to return and stay longer than 3 days next time! Thank you all for making my first stop, and my first visit to Europe so nice 😊
J. V.
Nice hotel, very clean, spacious and hygenic. Right next to the train and DLR station with lots of places to eat and drink within walking distance. Only downside I found was the heating didn't appear to work well it was the same with the shower. Luke warm in the morning and hot in the afternoon. Other than that I cannot fault the hotel at all. Enjoyable stay.
W. Z.
Room was very clean and staff very helpful and professional. Room was hot and since weather outside was cold, A/C would not turn on (only heat). We left window open but could only open window so far without the large window jutting out into the room, posing a possible risk of running into the window when moving about the room. Also curtain would not provide privacy with window open. Staff provided a fan which helped, but there are so few outlets in the room that we could not plug in all our devices (two cell phones, a CPAP device and a reader) and plug in fan also. Modern day hotel rooms need more outlets!

Ordered breakfast to our room to be delivered at 6 because our tour group was meeting at 630 and the breakfast downstairs started at 630. At 610 the lady at concierge called to say breakfast did not start until 630. I explained to her I followed what I read in the book in the room (picture of what I read). She told me I was wrong, breakfast had NEVER been served at 6. So we run downstairs to get one of their take away bags (3pieces if cheese on bread). I ask if they have an atm, the gentleman tells me there is one shout a 5 min walk from there if I hurry. Another lady from our group asks about coffee because they do not have coffee out either. She is told about 3 blocks away. We walk outside and right next door at the train stop is an atm and coffee shop. Less than a minute from their front door...
The room was fine, no issues there. But the staff this morning would keep me from ever going back.
Y. Y.
Has good rooms, safe, fridge, bath, and shower. Very comfortable. Staff were friendly. I ate dinner three one night and it was quite good. Waiter was good about checking on food allergies for me.
m. b.
Excellent Staff but not offering buffet in the breakfast. Google photos are fake and place doesn't look like anything even closer to it.
C. K.
Staff are friendly, service is usually great. Rooms are a good size and the hotel is situated next to the railway station and near the DLR. There is a restaurant that serves for herr but choice is a bit limited. There's a small fitness centre here with a steam room, but there are also plenty of good running routes around Greenwich!
A. F.
Located next to the Greenwich train station the hotel is very nice clean and modern room with a good coffee machine. We had the executive room which was very reasonably priced, even though a bit tired, but clean and all in perfect working order!
This Novotel wasperfect forfor our weekend city getaway, or for business as It has excellent transport links into London, 10 minutes to London Bridge.... We had breakfast and it was plentiful,
All the staff were all really really helpful and friendly, the cusromer service is second to none. If we have to come back to London, we will stay there again.
D. G.
The hotel had everything I needed for my stay, staff was extremely helpful and kind, proximity to rail station is superb. The town the hotel is located in was really nice, made it worth not having to stay city center. Only critiques... room temperature was difficult to control and although I was appreciative with the availability of an iron and board, it was annoying trying to use it as the iron was strapped down to the board in a way that made it very difficult to use.
C. E.
Room was fab comfy beds, great location for Greenwich area, next door to the train station. Tv channels weren't working but somebody did come up to sort it out (she said it was the cable and she fixed it). Restaurant food was okay, kids menu was such value for money. Breakfast was ok. Staff were friendly. Enjoyed our stay.
S. A.
JUST complained 2 waiter: GBP. 15.50 'Angus' Burger. (Put in Microwave OR 'chef' let it go VERY DRY!) I asked 4 new burger. They rather refunded me! Excuse was "meat in UK not okay"! LMAO @novotel Greenwich Hotel @Accor Well, now I have 2 GET food myself... C'est NE PAS un Chef!
General service IS kind & helpful. But this 'chef'...NO WAY!
J. R.
True to Novotel standard. They deliver once again. Another wonderful experience from all the staff.
J. M.
It's a solid hotel with friendly staff. They have a lounge and restaurant. The room was okay. It was clean but on the smaller side. It felt a little tinny - or cheap with modular furniture. Almost like it was Ikea. The other part that weighs on me was the expense of the place for the locale. It's not in the heart of London, but it was a bit higher in price than I would expect. You are close to the DLR, which could take you into the city or Canary Wharf.
Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
S. R.
If you want to stay in Greenwich, I would definitely recommend this place. My daughters received free unicorns from the staff when we arrived. It looked like a mixture of funky , cosy and modern. The staff were so compassionate and we enjoyed every single day here. The bathrooms were wonderful
B. E.
Good location, room could do with TLC
a. s.
I had left one hotel and came to the Novotel around 9am expecting to just leave my luggage and wait for check in. However, the lovely lady at the desk checked me in right then and there. "That way you can rest for a bit before you have to go back out again." She was right and i was very grateful. My only compliant is that the food in the restaurant and bar area could be better. I ordered a steak and half of it was nothing but fat. Overall i had a lovely time at the Novotel Greenwich and will definitely be back.
K. N.
Great Hotel. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Welcoming and helpful staff. Very good breakfast and meal. Great situation for bus and trains. The bedroom was very quiet and good air conditioning. Extremely comfortable beds made a good nights sleep. Great to have a fridge and safe.
J. H.
Very clean, well organised room - love the way the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
Perfect location for exploring London.
But most of all friendly, helpful staff.
Thank you for making our stay enjoyable and hassle free.
D. A.
Overall our stay at Novatel Greenwich from 29/12 18 to3/1/19
was pleasant, convenient to London rail. and had helpful staff.
But...…………
1. Computers for residents were always "down".
2.Talking to counter staff was often difficult, when children who couldn't play, were allowed to bang on a nearby electric piano.
3. We opted to spend NYE at the Hotel. A mistake... with an overpriced buffet dinner (29 pounds each), no live music (it was promised) and nothing at midnight, except a glass of wine each. It seemed to be short staffed, because existing staff could not cope with service.
A. W.
The rooms are very small. There are not many outlets. Wifi is fast. Housekeeping is great. Front desk staff seem a bit lost. Dining is same at other Novotels. No pool. Dog friendly.
S. G.
It was good, however I did feel that the room wasn't clean enough. Also I feel that having the toilet separate to the bathroom without a hand basin in it is an infection control risk! Why do you not have hand basins in the toilet! This would prevent me from returning. We ended up cleaning the handles on the doors to the loo and the bathroom. It's a bizarre concept!
T. S.
Great location in Greenwich, just around the corner from both overground and DLR stations. Rooms are spacious, but beds very hard. Reasonable wifi. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bar area is fine, but it needs a greater selection of beers and lagers on tap for me! Plenty of alternative eating and drinking places around.
E. S.
Hotel is beginning to feel tired. I bedside light was not working, switch missing. Bathroom ceiling tiles rattle opening door. Turning down thermostat with (noisy) fan on high made no difference. Couldn't open window due to being over the DLR. 1 bkfast teabag! Really!!! At your prices!!
Good breakfast buffet, let down by weak coffee.
Despite notifying food allergies, no dairy/wheat alternatives. Come on this is not good enough.
Z.
Fifth floor room overlooking train station so constant noise from 5am until late 11 pm. Rooms clean and good size though. Breakfast awful even with a supposed discount. Position of hotel in relation to other amenities was excellent
A. B.
Pros:Room was clean and tidy. Tea and refreshments was good. Staff were warm and welcoming.
Cons: there was water leaking in to the room from the side of the wall when the shower was operated. The skirting board was flaky and coming off the wall due to this problem. I made the receptionist Aware at the time of leaving. The problem seemed to be an old one which has not been attended to. This left a sour note to our visit.
Especially considering this to be a four star.
G.
Average at best.
The executive room has the toilet by the door with the sink by the bed. Not convenient for not disturbing your partner at night. No room service menu.
Breakfast tea and coffee is serve yourself from a catering pot. Not ideal. No decaf tea.
Parking is hard, with very limited spaces. The sign outside doesn't indicate if the car park is full with no way out without a token from reception.
Can't say it will be on my list.
T. S.
I couldn't ask for a better hotel. The service was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful with any queries I had. As for the the suite it was lovely nice and spacious, very clean and tidy. One very pleased customer and will definitely be returning at a later date.
d. h.
Same standard as expected from Novotel, helpful staff ensuring you have a great stay
B. M.
From the very first time I visited this hotel I noticed how superior their customer service was. They really paid attention to our actions and responses. I am a vegetarian and ordered a platter because I liked three of the items but one of the other items was meat. I put the meat option to the side. Although I knew there was a meat item on the plate I was happy with my choice. My waiter came over and asked if I wanted the meat item replaced. He was looking at us the whole time. He even brought over tooth picks for my friend who was fumbling with trying to unlodge good from between his teeth. I was very impressed. That was six years ago. I now visit the hotel twice a month and the service is always consistently superior to most places in London.
A. K.
When arriving the front desk was very helpful with providing us local information, maps, as well as holding our luggage until our room was ready. The room was good as expected. The location is next to the Greenwich train station which makes it convenient to get to downtown London.
N. S.
The hotel was very basic in comparison to the other Novotel hotels in Europe. Two starts standard.
The room didn't have bottle of water and flavour tea selection.
Very basic breakfast with small selection of healthy option again I asked for peppermint tea and they couldn't provide.
They really need to catch up on 21st century.
You could hear trains in the morning.
The staff was polite .
T. M.
Great location right on the doorstep of Greenwich rail and DLR station and at the heart of Greenwich town centre.
I haven't stayed here as a guest but have attended social events and the bar here and I've always been impressed with the furnishings. The toilets are also very nice. Highly recommended even as a place to stay when visiting London with the station being so close you can get to central London in about 15 mins or London Bridge in 10 min.
E. S.
Good things: it's literally at Greenwich rail station, easy walk to Greenwich village, and quiet.
Unfortunately, it needs a lot of refurbishment. Room was tired and dated, the toilet area was tired with visible wear to walls and floor, shower was weak and temperature varied constantly while running, to the point it burnt me and I cut my shower short. Black mould in bathroom, damaged bath tub.
When checking out there is no quick drop option, so we had to queue for over 10 minutes just to give someone our keys.
Could be a great hotel, but not worth the standard room rates considering the condition.
L. J. W.
Very relaxing and stimulating. Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly. Hotel was clean. I like the room facilities such as the bath and the nesspresso machine which provided good quality coffee.
M. W.
A great location for the O2, easy to get to from the south coast. Friendly staff with well equipped and spotless rooms. Lovely sunny breakfast room with plenty of good quality choices. This is also a good central hotel for exploring London.
A. E.
Great hotel, great price. Conveniently located hotel near to Greenwich high street. The friendly staff are helpful and cheerful. The bar is nice offering a great gin selection, and good food. Some food items weren't available, but the was enough choice that there was plenty else to choose. Car parking is available on site and is cheap and secure
T. M.
Staff were lovely and welcoming, very helpful, food nice. The only issue I had was the separate toilet to the bathroom, I found this quite strange and this is the only reason I probably wouldn't pick this hotel again. Otherwise everything was great.
E. W.
Booked this hotel as it's the meeting point for our tour in the next day. Walking distance from Greenwich station. Comfortable bed. Good service and quick check-in and check-out. May try their breakfast next time.
S. C.
I was surprised how nice it was. Expected a premiere Inn type place, but got a few steps up. Big lobby, nice staff, underground car park and not bad rooms. I will definitely use it again, very much a place that suits London area.
M. E.
Merry Christmas to the staff. My family and I just enjoyed a relaxed and very tasty chrisrmas lunch consisting of turkey chicken salmon beef and all the trimmings. The desserts included traditional pudding, but the homemade cheesecake is the best ive tasted in a very very long time. There were two types.....millionaires and fruit. Absolutely amazing. Well done chef Donata 😘
N. D.
Clean rooms, great facilities and wonderful location. Only problem is that housekeeping are so eager to rush you out of the room to clean it that they came in twice. Once while we were sleeping and again while I was getting dressed.
J. S.
Genuinely the worst hotel experience we have ever encountered. Rude staff on the telephone when we called to make an enquiry about documents required for our stay. My partner was blatantly hung up on on 3 occasions by the supervisor, Vania. She was too cowardly to be truthful about this to her manager, Christoff who completely patronised my partner by implying that we may have gotten the wrong end of the stick. There is no true mystery here, somebody doesn't simply get hung up on 3 times by accident!! After dealing with rude staff for over 30 minutes Christoff agrees to upgrading our superior bedroom for an executive room. He put this to us in writing via email. We arrived at the hotel in the evening after a long day of work only to be looked down upon as soon as we arrived. The staff behind the counter were already aware of who we were as the people on shift earlier had clearly been gossiping so we were instantly made to feel awkward. The general manager on shift, Florian checked us in. My partner asked him if the keys we were handed were in fact for the executive room we had been upgraded to, to which he replied that it was. We enter the room only to find it to be a standArd superior bedroom. We go back downstairs to question this and are told bare faced lies by Florian that the room we are in is in fact an executive room. We go back upstairs and after roaming the website it is blatantly apparant that we are in a superior room. This wouldnt be an issue on any other occasion but my partner was spoken to appallingly and were promised an upgrade as a gesture of goodwill. After having to go back downstairs for a second time my partner politely requests that we stop being messed about and put in a room that we were promised which was then carried out. As soon as we reached the bedroom door we notice an executive door sign which clearly was not on the original room door that we were given upon arrival, absolute digrace and sheer dis - respect. After all of this hassle I then find that they deducted a further £150 from my bank account without my consent, protesting that we had smoked in the bedroom which they claimed was backed up with photo evidence. After demanding for over an hour on the telephone for them to email us these photos which we knew they couldnt have because we hadnt comitted what we were being accused of they then had to admit that no photos existed and that my money had been refunded. This is bullying and daylight robbery! Never ever will I put my money in to this company again
M. C.
The Novotel is well located close to the Greenwich train and DLR station. The hotel itself is a standard Novotel chain hotel, although the rooms and bathrooms are getting a bit worn out. The Bose ipod is a nice gesture.... if you have an iphone, so completely useless for others. Biggest issue on my stay was the hotel garbage being collected at 3:30 AM right beneath my window. Also trains clearly noticeable.
R. B.
Excellent staff - helpful and caring - who looked after my husband after he had fallen badly in central London shortly before we arrived at Novotel, Greenwich. He had a badly bruised and cut leg, but First Aid kits were quickly brought, which yielded wipes, bandages and plasters at the time, and over our 2-day stay in a nice room (427) with a welcome hot bath! One staff member even went down, in the rain at 8.30pm, to the nearby station to tap out our Oyster cards which we had forgotten to do in our haste! Very convenient location for the sights of Greenwich - highly recommended hotel.
Z. I.
Stayed for 4 nights- really quiet comfortabe room.
Excellent idea regarding £5 for bar if not needing room cleaned.
Staff were really friendly leaving and coming back to hotel; always greeted with a smile and a greeting
F. O.
We arrived early. The staff was very-very friendly helpful and kind. The restaurant and the breakfast were very good and plenty to eat, and delicious. Pleasant room, comfortable bed and very clean room. Exellent location. Really good lovely and friendly staff. Greenwich is an incrediable area! Thank you very much! Zsolt, Hungary
s. j. K.
Most accommodating staff. Rooms spotless. However I do think you should include the vat in your price. There was 1 fabulous girl at night reception on Friday night late. Also 1 lady from blarney cork who gave me juice. I was dying from a hang over. My breakfast was not included. I think your staff are your best assest f
A. G.
Good location, within walking distance to some famous Greenwich attractions. The hotel room is not brand new but cleanliness is acceptable. I found it a bit odd that the wc is separated from the bathroom. That being the case, at least a hand bidet or a small wash basin in the wc is necessary.
A. J.
The room's floor was dirty. The room itself definitely needs a renovation and my colleagues shared the same for other rooms - please do something about this. Novotel is a world famous brand and such rooms do leave a bad impression in guests.
I like that you encourage "don't clean the room" with a 5 GBP coupon for the bar.
R. D.
Quiet and restful. The room was as expected and not too small by London standards. All the staff were helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect for the London Marathon. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would book again.
K. W.
Second time staying at the hotel, this time for my fiance's birthday. On both occasions the shower drain has been blocked. On this second occasion the bathroom sink also smelt like rotting food. Shower fixed on second day, sent a complaint email that was quickly brushed off. My last time staying here.
P. D.
Nice Hotel well situated for walks and sightseeing.goof good good bedrooms and friendly staff.
H. M.
very quite hotel, Spotless clean, nice bathroom with separate shower and toilets. Clean modern furnitures, spacious bedrooms for up to 2 adults and 2 children, People are fabulous, thanks to all of them for making us fell so special during our 5 nights stay...great place, great people, very clean, good breakfast, great service
P. K.
I stayed 2 nights for a training course. Hotel room was very comfortable and the facilities and food were excellent. One member of staff was particularly helpful in printing and scanning a document for me so i could organise my emergency proxy vote for the general election. He was very patient and helpful
P. C.
The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly, and location is good - you avoid the crowds and noise in Canary Wharf and are still close to it if your business is there. The Greenwich park is close nearby which allows for early morning jogs or nice strolls.
C. J.
Not a bad location. Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and tidy and the shower was great. It was also nice to have the toilet in its own room rather than the bathroom. Not sure if this applies to every room.
R. v. V.
Disappointing. The carpet in the room was stained. The 'double' room had 2 single beds pushed together. The toilet paper was like sandpaper. The meals served were cold. We were not even offered a drink when there for our evening meal. When collecting our dessert from the buffet area our table was given to another couple. I've paid a lot less for hotels in London that were much nicer.
A. O.
Good hotel for business purposes. Has all the necessities for a few nights stay. It's right next to the station which makes it easily accessible by public transport. Restaurant menu choice is a bit limited but good quality food
E. P.
Needed a reasonably priced hotel close to the O2. The hotel is nothing flashy but suited us perfectly. Close to the DLR so easily able to get to the O2, and taxi back late night from the O2 was cheap. Was even able to order a pizza up to the room (probably about 1:00 in the morning).
k. e.
The hotel was located a 5/10 minute taxi from the O2 and was based in the lovely Greenwich. All facilities were found to be pleasing. Loved the breakfast, such a great choice and everything was delicious!
M. O.
Sub minute walking distance from DLR, Nice area with good restaurants and some pub. Been there for a short business stay, will come back again. Breakfast expirience could get better with coffee machine and fresh oj.
M. J.
Great position, wonderful staff who were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great. If there was any criticism it would be rooms a bit on the small side, but for the money I'm not complaining.
S. H.
Great place to stay with perfect location. Stuff was really friendly and helpful. Clean rooms with very comfortable beds. I'll definitely came back to this hotel again
A. D.
Stayed in room 305 last week Thursday which was very noisy due to the building works going on on the hotel itself. Would be nice for the hotel to inform you of this before arriving to give you a choice whether to stay or now. Complete waste of my money spent.
S. G. M.
Absolutely amazing suite. Booked a room for the first night then realised the suite (only one in hotel) was £1 more. Defo recommend so clean and the staff are so friendly!
P. N.
The Greenwich Novotel is a really convenient hotel to explore both the Greenwich area or even Central London as it is next door to DLR and mainline stations (the DLR will take you from Greenwich to Bank in about 40 minutes). I've always found the staff to be excellent, rooms up to the usual Novotel standard. Restaurant and bar no problems. Parking for non residents for a fee.
T. M.
really good - have stayed at many Novotels previously but first time at Greenwich - friendly and efficient check in, room excellent and importantly, very quiet, bar staff also friendly , breakfast very good , check out quick and also efficient - I appreciated the fact that my room request was met as I am a fussy sleeper! - will certainly use this hotel in future when working in Canary Wharf
J. J.
Very often difficult to find bar staff. Despite having booked in advance the male receptionist on the night of Saturday 7 October was utterly useless. It took about 25 mins to check in. He repeatedly confused our booking with a similar name. I repeatedly explained I would pay for my son who was arriving 20 minutes later, yet he still asked my son to pay. Very poor!
R. J.
Very efficient front desk staff. Allowed me to check in a bit early. Everyone was very friendly, lots of smiles. Breakfast was included with my room and was good. A selection of fruits, pastries, and English breakfast items, sausage eggs hash browns etc. Juice tea and coffee. Right at Greenwich train and DLR station. Very convenient to walk into Greenwich. I'd stay here again.
A. A.
It was a horrible stay at Novotel with several problems that occurred and when checking out informed the staff about the problems was told someone will be in touch but received no such correspondence. I contacted accor customers services was given a reference number and informed someone from the hotel would be in touch but it's nearly 2 months in and nothing. It seems Novotel do not care about their customers
M. C.
Friendly staff and excellent location. You get what you pay for. Breakfast is ok. Wifi is acceptable. Rooms tidy and modern with built in USB charging near bed sockets. Toilet is separated from bathroom.
N. F.
. Our 3 day stay was to celebrate my wife's birthday and the staff could not have been more helpful. Reception staff were superb, thanks to Alicia, Maria and for Kenny kindly returning my ancient mobile phone. Also thanks to Johanna for organising my Wife's surprise.
J. M.
Very nice staff and a very clean hotel. Room was great and plenty of room for our 2 children. The only downside, rubbish coffee at breakfast - please get a decent coffee machine.
N. C.
Located beside the DLR station, this hotel was convenient for travel into London. The room was reasonably priced for a London hotel, with a great buffet breakfast included. The room was comfortable and staff friendly and helpful.
I. W.
Staff were wonderful, very welcoming and you gained impression nothing was too much trouble for them. Room was average size, very clean and with a comfortable bed.
P. I. L.
Stayed London marathon weekend, hotel fully booked but staff and facilities excellent.
Stayed in a double room which had all that was needed for weekend stay. The only negative was that room rather warm and air con didn't have much effect.
Will definitely stay here again
C. S.
The room was nice and clean! I have not found anything remarkable to say about the accommodation. The bathroom is a bit small for a two sleep but adequate. Very basic room!
刘.
The facility is conveniently located in Greenwich. The staff was very professional and courteous. The room was amazingly clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again if I'm ever in London again!
S. E.
What can i say after visitng this property year after year? -product - being amazingly refreshed - rooms, gym, some parts of the lobby -service - Front Desk and Bar Teams are so proactive in their behaviours! -new events - music at the bar apparently every 2 weeks. Jazz night few days ago with amazingly good mojito. Flamenco coming up...
K.
Pet friendly! I took my dog on a walk with me to meet my family who were staying there, we sat in the restaurant and got buffet breakfast! Pretty decent selection featuring some naughty little waffles.
A. G.
Overall, very nice. Staff kind and helpful. Rooms are nice but showers temperature very unpredictable. Breakfast really good. Had a lovely stay.
T. M.
I've done a lot of traveling but never come across such helpful and professional front desk staff. We really enjoyed our stay. The trail station next door and grocery store just round the corner make it a great place to explore London from.
N. N.
The hotel is located next to the rail system, it can take you anywhere easily and quickly. The hotel is in a decent location with good links to transport and shops. I had a good rest there as the surroundings were very peaceful. There are a lot of famous restaurants nearby.
G. K.
Super friendly efficient and welcoming staff. Well situated, within walking distance of Greenwich. Small parking, therefore not always available. Nice rooms comfortable bed.
T. M.
Good. The air conditioning was welcome on an unusually hot day. It was a pleasant stay. The only draw backs were the uncontrollable temperature fluctuations in the shower and a bad smell released when the basin tap was turned on.
A. V.
I spent 4 days there for a company conference. The rooms are modern in decor. We kept waking up at night due to noisy guests returning to their rooms. We were given a dingy room on the lower ground floor with a veiw of a brick wall from the window.
M. A. A.
Very helpful staff was able to provide the extras we needed (extension cord) and was super friendly. The included breakfast buffet was above and beyond what we expected and would definitely stay here again.
C. C.
My eye glass was broken by house keeping and when I complained at reception they said for more than 24 hrs no investigation took place. It seems as if they were waiting for me to check out to close the matter. I informed I need refund of 20 GBP for my loss and still they said investigation will take place and we will get back over the email. It has been 2day nO one reverted. It was a corporate booking with many rooms booked together and I am highly disappointed with service.
t. d. c. t.
We had a pleasant stay at Novotel. Found the staff to be very courteous. For triple occupancy, the room could have been a bit more spacious.
A. S.
The hôtel room waas excellent, bath robe, toiletteries. Both there were too things which spoilt my stay : The state of the pillows and the fact that the Railway station is directly underneath means that We wake up with the first train.
L. Y.
It's ok, lovely, helpful staff but it is an old novotel. Still no sockets by the bed, in fact only a couple available, old style separate toilet with no basin and sadly mouldy grout.
B. C.
Close to the pub! Pub has free wifi as well as the hotel both are decent
Cheap beer next door and good food
Breakfast at the hotel is excellent and the rooms and comfortable and quiet
W. D.
My experience at Novotel is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed. The location just 1 minute walk to the Greenwich train station makes travel easier. The staff are so caring and helpful. Novotel is the best place to stay in London.
D. C.
Nice hotel. Good meeting rooms and bedrooms. Touch screen games table in the bar - quite cool! Service can be slow at times, but always professional!
t. s.
Fantastic front on house team, spacious but old fashioned rooms, doesn't feel any posher than a Travelodge these days.
Not a bad hotel, but pretty basic. Make sure it's cheap!
F. P.
The place is nice and clean, just surprised that when I arrived the staff at the reception informed me that I was lucky to have a room although the hotel have confirmed my staying earlier and payment was already done!!!!! ..... Aside of that ... Everything went fine...
A. J.
My family and I had a good few days stay at the hotel. The pace was clean, staff were friendly and location was central to man things. Would stay here again and recommend
L. T.
Currently being revamped which is good as it's starting to show it's age in the decor and fittings. No USB chargers or sockets in the rooms for example but as a place to stay it's really central and a good level of service and standards
H. R.
Really nice. Location is perfect.
F. K.
Hotel was nice. Unfortunately got there at 3.20pm to find our room was not ready, Baring in mind check in was at 2pm this was poor. Also to note bar closed at 12pm.
K. L.
Excellent hotel with a fantastic location. The staff are extremely courteous and every attention shown. Rooms are clean, comfortable and superbly equipped, perfect for a city break
M. W.
The hotel is ok, but there is a sound coming up from the water pipes every time someone showers. The last 2 nights I woke up several times from these sounds. They are quite loud and frequent. Not good for sleep here.
A. G.
Disappointing experience compared to other hotel's in the chain. I had to show them their own website showing the supposed room amenities before they'd hand over any bottled water.
T. M.
Nice but outdated hotel. Definitely it requires renovation. Good service on the bar and restaurant. Small but functional fitness center.
A. W.
Train, DLR, bus, all just outside so you get anywhere you want and it's just a short stroll into Greenwich centre with all the shops restaurants and attractions. The ***agement and staff went out of their way to help. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we had to leave our luggage at reception and go and kill some time.
J. C.
Easy DLR access, clean room and everything what you need is there. Unfortunately for this price I expected a little bit more.
There was nothing wrong in either room, hotel, staff etc. just the value for money.
G. N.
Had my international passport, wristwatch and bag stolen from room 334.terrible experience. Will neve stay there again. Be careful and dont go with your valuables. No CCTV in hallway -porous security. The manager was unconcerned and offered 20% discount while i was stranded in London without a passport, my watch and a bag. Terrible experience. Have instructed lawyers to bring a claim.
H. R.
Really nice and friendly staff, clean room.
J. K.
Decent hotel with good food for evening meal and breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff with parking, gym and sauna facilities available.
M. L.
Great stay. Very convenient next to station. 10 mins walk to Cutty Sark and other tourist spots. Photos of exec room on floor 6.
d. s.
This place is very average and shouldn’t have a four star rating, 3 stars on a good day. Everything is outdated and the worst thing is that they overuse very smelly artificial fresheners everywhere including room - yuk. Avoid if you can!
H. D.
I was disappointed to know that the parking cahrges were incurred as additional as well as teh breakfast
Also, I was told I could ask for extra duvet for kids should i require .
This was at out check in around 7pm
When I did call, teh staff spoke to me in quite discourteous way taht I should have mentioned about extra duvet at check in and before 9 pm, which I was not made awar eof at the time of check in if teher was any time limits to the request . The staff did bring in teh duvet but I was shocked at teh way thsi request was treated . I understand if teh staff didnt have any access to house keeping, but it could have been conveyed in a polite manner .

Lovely!Amazing hotel at a key location. Clean and tidy. Amazing staff willing to help you at anytime making you feel at home. Well done to all of them.
L. K.
Very nice place to stay here the staff are friendly and prices are OK the rooms are nice but u can hear the traffic in rose at the front of hotel
R. M.
Very comfortable rooms. Nice bar/restaurant in the lobby area. Right outside Greenwich train station. Only minus really is ongoing tefurbishmrnt work.i
H. P.
Nice location and very friendly staffs. And quality dinner made my family satisfied. I will visit this hotel again in case of traveling London in the future.
N. F.
After a mix up with bookings the hotel and staff were excellent in sorting out the issue to everyone's satisfaction. They were brilliant. I would recommend Novotel to anyone. Very enjoyable stay.
N. A.
Great location. DLR station is right next door. The breakfast is awesome. Staff friendly and effective. Hotel stay was very pleasant.
J. H.
This is home from home for me. I've been visiting for seven years and always had a pleasant stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms spacious and clean and the staff always helpful.
K. G.
Decent room size, carpet could have been cleaner as couple of stains, bathroom ok, bath a bit small for 6ft 1" male, but shower ok. Window opened which was a good thing, and when closed had good soundproofing.
Check-in/out very easy and staff helpful,Breakfast was fine if a little hectic on one day.Only slight negative was dinner on first night was really really slow. Staff were apologetic about it but just two courses took nearly 2hrs!.Food choices were limited and food was very basic. Despite this, in all our two night stay was very good value for money and location of hotel is good with good transport links and easy walking to Greenwich.
Would stay again.
K. M.
Staff are SUPER helpful and nice. They'll show you around the area. Rooms are comfy and spacious. Breakfast is delicious.
s. t.
Great place to stay! Lovely suite! Friendly staff, great menu, great local attractions within walking distance eg. Cutty Sark, Greenwich Observatory.
D. H.
generally good hotel always stayed here in the past but we are back in Greenwich in July and booked in elsewhere as air con is poor - way too hot in the room on hot summer day.
D. Y.
Lovely rooms the breakfast was awesome. Prices suit all peoples pockets. Very clean and tidy.
M. W.
The stay was great, only complaint was that the bathroom and washroom didn't have locking doors and that the hotel Wi-Fi was rather poor.
D. S.
Nice, clean friendly staff, reasonable rates on certain days. Pet friendly at an extra charge. Car parking is limited, but reasonable considering the Pay and Display charges.
G. D.
Quick and easy check in process. I arrived 30 minutes before the time check in usually starts and my room was already available. Very friendly and helpful receptionists.
B. F.
I visited a friend that was staying there on business. The room was nice, the staff were friendly, and it's only a short walk from the nice historic parts of Greenwich. It's nice!
S. F.
This place was awesome. Rooms small but very well laid out, food was very good, and really liked the location. A bit of a trek to get to london, but Greenwich was a great little town!
K. K.
Family friendly hotel directly at Greenwich DLR. Central London is easily reachable with public transportation, and all Greenwich attractions are accessible on foot.
Rooms are spacy and comfortable, and children get a sofa converted to a proper bed.
A. K. S.
Staying here with my company! Couldnt have a better business stay!!! All from the the main entrance, front desk service finishing with a simple good morning relation with the housekeeping was perfect. Thank you Novotel!
J. C.
Very cozy, the staff extremely polite and helpfull. The room I had was a little strange in that it had no sink next to the toilet, but only in another room.
C. J.
Friendly and helpful staff.
E. T.
Had a very pleasant stay here with good service and all the mod cons you would expect from any well respected hotel chain. Will definitely use Novotel again.
M. G.
Very friendly staff and close to train station. Breakfast not worth the 15£. Room for four was a bit small but beds were comfy.
H. J.
Was good value for money but the reception desk looked rather untidy which didn't give good first impressions. Apart from that it was clean and comfy.
N. P.
Almost everything about the hotel is lovely. The food is great, the staff are friendly, everything is clean. The bed was too hard for me.
C. C.
Great stay and wonderful staff.
A. R.
Amazing staff, great location
M. L.
We struggled with sleep due to really hot room.
Didn't get much sleep at all . No fan's to give out nor no air conditioning in the room. So struggling with the extremely warm room.
k. w.
Spacious rooms but a bit worn out. Aircon did not work and I was told by reception that it was normal... Good breakfast.
T.

S. W.
For a sharing situation it was very good. Clean, quiet, hot water. Employees pleasant & helpful. Negative was lots of stairs. Price was great
B. &. T. S.
Generally it was a bit ok but l wanted to change my room because of the noise from the trains, l was told l could not be relocated with my children in the oposite room. l was made to endure this problem for two weeks.
D. I.
Simple check in and check out, breakfast was good as was my evening meal. The only issue was the bed mattress was too firm for me so didn't get the best nights sleep.
A. S.

Lovely modern hotel, great rooms with good facilities and friendly, honest and helpful staff. Made everything easy
M. D.
Nice and pleasant stay, nothing particular to address to the staff. Would recommend more variety in regards to the breakfast.
M. L.
Nice hotel. Only thing is that toilet in room doesn't have facilities to wash your hands. Have to go to the bathroom to wash them.
B. S.
A comfy, reasonably priced hotel. A great location near a railway station and a DLR station. Friendly, helpful staff. Basic, but tasty breakfast.
D. Z.
Totally fab. Best cheap hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff really wonderful. Rooms and facilities amazing.

G. M.
Brilliant staff, and spotlessly clean. The buffet breakfast is superb. Great hotel.
B. H.
Bed was great. Good room. Do not have the take away breakfast...so expensive and horrible.
J. P.
Very convenient next to Greenwich DLR. Room was basic, but very clean and the usual amenities. Friendly and efficient service from reception.

Comfy bed, pleasant staff and breakfast. Let down by air con not working and unable to open window fully so bad sleep as was too hot.
M. W.
Visited to meet friends staying at the hotel. Bar is nice and relaxing and a good place to catch up away from the noise of busier establishments.
Z. S.
Good hotel, pricing good and good connection to the dlr. Rooms are good but nothing special
M. D.
Amazing, hospital and professional. Loved it.
S. A.
It’s a nice hotel, near Greenwich DLR station but the toilets next to the receptions need looking after
C. F.
Nice hotel covid rules being adhered to
One fault bar way to expensive had to ask twice if it was correct
J. R.
Did the job. DLR outside the door
M. P.
Really great, accommodating staff, super kid/baby friendly and very clean. Restaurant needs more training though.
J. M.
I have stayed several times, and Novotel was the hotel of choice for me, when creating a venue and base for my recent project for visiting Rotarians.
J. B.
Family room was cramped. If you fit a convertible sofa into an ordinary room it won't make it a family room. Same breakfast menue for 4 days straight.
J. P.
This has been an experience I will not forget from when we walked in the revolving door backwards at first, we were greeted by a very friendly staff member (Silvia) & have not had any staff member who could not do enough for us. This place is user friendly, love it
K. W.
Everything was very good. Staff were very helpful. Would have been better if we could have booked a parking space.

No wake up call no remote control for T V and shower rail hunging off wall not a first good impression of Hotel and the price we paid it should not have these problems
T. A. L.
The Hotel is very nice and comfortable but the restaurant downstairs is a little bit pricey
M. R.
Doesn't offer much for the price, but it's well localized in Greenwich, side by side to DLR station, and has good staff and reception.
S. G.

P. A.
Lovely hotel. Staff very pleasant.
B. O.
Visited for a conference, nice venue with easy underground parking option and good catering
N. C.
The service was excellent but it was a bit of a hassle getting tables booked for the 15 guests. It was not like this on a previous patronage.
V. S.
Great burgers. The curry was good too according to other people in our group.
J. M.
Room provided was badly maintained and never got a requested response from manager.
D. L.
The only quiet place in Greenwich for Easter. The food was nice and the service was great.
